DARCUS Your Highness, after you left us this afternoon, Sil shot and captured a spy. After torturing and interrogating him, we learned that he is a spy for your Father. He was sent to check on the Kingdom and the goings on. He was about to report back that we are assembling an army, something that he had not anticipated. We are very fortunate that Sil saw him and prevented this, for I feel that the element of surprise will work well for us. As of right now, King Mordrid has no idea that the King and Princess do not wish to go forward with the marriage contract. As you can see, the Castle is set upon a hill with cliffs at the back of it, so we will be able to see the King approaching. It is with hopes, that he will approach not with a full army, but with a small personal guard. We should let him enter and Sil and I will attempt to assasinate his guard in their sleep. The problem is, this plan will expose the princess to your father and require her to pretend that she is pleased with the upcoming nuptials.

Sil waited Patiently, listining quietly with his arms crossed, he was no use at politics, he was a fighter, and a planner, not a politican, so he waited till he had something to do or talk about.

I see that we have the men it takes, but still not as much. I was hoping for 1000 spears, but I guess 500 will have to do.
**walks over to Sil and Darcus**
At all cost, you must not go to King Mordrid's Kingdom. We must use the knowledge of our own terrain to our advantage. We can then be able to set up an ambush around all side.
Prince Mordrid, you must go back to your Kingdom and tell your father lies that will make him come to this Kingdom with 9/10 of his army. Then you will be able to secretly make an army out of your peasants and serfs and capture the remainders of his army. But that will not happen until one more fortnight. It is our best chance. After you capture the remaining army you will be able to launch a sneak attack from the behind.

Serenity and Mako. Prepare to journey with me into the obis. We must find our opponents weaknesses and quest to a land far away, where a friend waits. You need not bring anything but food and clothing.

Consider what I have said. You must play defense on the inside and offense on the outside. King Mordrid's men are numerous and strong, but the beginning advantage shall be taken by us. On the dawn of battle, look towards the East and you will see "light".

DARCUS Yes, Gridel, we shall remain here and train the new troops, it is with hopes that they will be well and prepared for battle. **turns to Sil and others** We will need to reinforce the walls that surround the castle as well as the gates. We will also need to train many archers so that much of the battle will take place on the prairie before the castle walls rather than in the castle courtyard. Sil you are an excellent archer and many of your men also, would you please take up command of the archers and train those men that seem to possess a skill for it? Prince, my understanding is that your army is made up of unskilled warriors, so if you could please direct them to see my brother Damien, he is in charge of making sure we have enough supplies and that the castle is reinforced. **looking to Sweet, whom he has always loved, but knew that it would never be possible, states** My Princess, we will do all we can to protect you and your kingdom.

Princess Sweet, King Mordrid's men are much numerous, but you must not lose hope, for we shall bring reinforcements of every kind. You shall see of what I mean on the dawn of battle to the East. You must not forget that.

The discussions goes through the night and as morning nears a plan is formed .
Mordrid: I want to thank you all for your input and loyalty to what is right and good. You are all wise and good and I am thankful to have you as my friends and accomplises. King Meganon and Princess Sweet ,you must go about activities in you castle as if you were still preparing for this wedding. As we have seen my father has spies here thanks to the diligence of the good and brave Sil. So all must appear to be normal .Sil and Darcus I shall send my troops to you. You have two weeks to train and prepare them all for battle if it comes to that.Gridel,you must with all haste go search for the scrolls. with the small army we have now to stand against an army of great numbers such as my father has those scrolls and your magic may be our saving grace.Take serenity with you as you have said and teach her well . However I must insist that Mako travel with me to my fathers kingdom. As it is well known he and I are not close and trust between us is very limited. I will present the Lady Mako to my father in hopes that she may distract him with her beauty and charms so that he is not readying for war. I will try to convince him to come here with his main force of men . This may be hard to do and may make him suspicious as to why i would want him to do that. It would be of great advantage to have Lady Mako there to distract his thoughts. He is a very vain man and she is a most lovely distraction. This may work to our advantage. Gridel i must stress that you have only 2 weeks to find and decipher the scrolls and learn thier power. If you have not returned before my father arrives and realizes that this wedding is not to happen and war breaks out then we may be in dire trouble.You must leave immediately.The lands shall not be free until the death of my father. If left alive his evil ways are sure to continue.Wether this happen in battle or by assassination it is the only way to end the tyranny. I shall depart tomorrow morning with Lady Mako. Good luck to all and God be with you.
the assembled people start to depart and Mordrid approaches Sweet :
Mordrid: My dear princess , may we meet in your chambers tonight for wine and talk ? It is possible that if my father discovers what we are planning that I may not return and I desire to spend this night with you . To see your face and look into your eyes . If something does go wrong at least I would die knowing that I have been with the woman my heart has desired for so long.

That is an excellent plan Prince Mordrid. I will not be able to master the scroll in time, but I will be able to decipher the basics. I will also not be able to make back on time, only at the dawn of war, so war shall break out. You need not worry about our numbers. “Light shall be shed towards the East at the first ray of battle. Do not lose hope."
Very well, Serenity you shall come with me to seek my 4th scroll. My hunch is that it is within the hands of King Mordrid. We shall sneak into his castle tomorrow night and inspect every inch of the castle. We need not travel by horse, I have something better.
**magically make a scroll appear from nowhere. Opens the scroll and shines light from the sun staff on it**
Peganon and Dasman! Come forth for I Call!
**tosses the scroll into the air and vanishes** **Two large weredogs appear in the distance**
Come Serenity. Our rides wait.

MOYLENA **whispering** Lady Mako, come this way, I have a traveling trunk of ball gowns and elegant clothing prepared for you. The seamstress worked all day altering and making the fine clothing. May you be successful in your endeavors. **handing her a small crystals** This is a special homing crystal, should you ever be in danger, merely grip this in your fist and hold it close to your heart. It will transport you back here to safety. Keep it with you always. This second crystal is a returning crystal, place it somewhere where no one can find it in the bedchamber you are assigned to once you get to King Mordrids castle, and someplace where there will be room for you to fit. As you travel to the castle, you must incant Atravalla, Sallicara, Veritaballa five times and the crystal will recognize you. Once that is done, anytime you want to return to the bedchamber, you merely need to say the same incantation and you will be returned there with this crystal. The last crystal is a protection crystal, it will protect you from any evil spells that anyone attempts to cast upon you. It is in the form of a ring so that you can have it with you at all times. Good Luck and Godspeed. **As Moylena begins to exit the tent, she sees the Prince and Princess speaking quietly together and notices a certain light in the eyes of the Princess. ** Oh my, I fear I have left her unattended once to many times. I shall have to stick closely to her for the remainder of the time that the Prince is here at the castle.

SWEET **blushing at the Princes' request, looks shyly into his eyes** I will make arrangements for the private sitting room to be available. But it will be a difficult task to keep Moylena away. I shall do my best, but even if she is present, we shall still be able to spend some time together. **gently touches his face and stands on tippy toes to kiss the corner of his mouth then turns and flees.**

Leads the way towards the weredogs. These little hounds were picked up by me when I was traveling for my 2nd scroll. We shall go to the castle first and find. out what King Mordrid is planning. Then I shall send my spirit to report back to what we find. Then after we are able to find a scroll, we shall travel to the land of Agricorn to meet an old friends that shall be waiting. There we may hope to bring back some ancient forces to help.
Hurry we must haste. I shall tell you about the Ancient Scrolls as we go, along with my journey's.
