`Chloe Sullivan` But it would not clear up EVERYTHING. Just simply telling Lana his secret would not instantly clear up any doubt she had about him before. Then she would Dwell on how he "kept big secrets" from her and she would be in a constant state of paranoia always wondering if he was keeping anything else from her. There is always going to be the misunderstanding as well, as to why Clark could trust Chloe with his secret and not her. Even if that wasn't his decision. Well whatever...I don't get the Clana relationship..He doesn't want to tell her his secret even though he oogles over herand is jelous of lexana...

zach61092 I don't get the Clana relationship. You and me both. I wish that at some point they'd shown why Clark's so hung up on Lana. It's just been the case that he has been since the very start of the show, but I don't recall any scenes that actually depict what it is he likes about her. Fsking loser.

Foetus In Fetu zach61092 I don't get the Clana relationship. You and me both. I wish that at some point they'd shown why Clark's so hung up on Lana. It's just been the case that he has been since the very start of the show, but I don't recall any scenes that actually depict what it is he likes about her. Fsking loser. That's not what why I'm annoyed..I don't understand why Clark loves Lana so much but won't tell her his secret and keeps denying it.

It wasn't exactly as a direct result of knowing his secret. That set in sequence a chain of events that Clark could have prevented at any point.
He's just grasping at straws.

Well if he went back to the fortress in the first place and just drop Lana off at the SVMC then no one would have had to die.

Too late I say. I mean she will always be put in danger no matter who she is with. With Whitney, Jason, Adam, Clark or Lex. She is always put in danger. To say that keeping his secret would protect her doesn't do much, she is still going to end up in a hospital bed somehow.

That is what happens when you live in Smallville. With Whitney, she had every other guy on campus wanting her, even a girl one time too. With Clark, secrets and lies and she gets kicked by a horse. With Adam, he tried to kill her. With Clark, she got hurt emotionally... a lot. With Jason, she was possessed by an evil witch. Clark again, she would be laying on the ground, brains splattered over the pavement if he told her or if he didn't save her. Lex, a lot of stuff too.
She was better off in Paris.
