With a nod and a smile Reeve ate some salad. "It is great. The only thinge better than the food is the company I share it with." In order to hide a smile he picked up his wine and drank a large sum of the glass.

Smiling brightly, she nudged his arm while he was drinking, part to tease, part to indicate he should not drink too much. Still she smiled at him and took another sip from her own glass before continuing eating. "And here just a moment ago you seemed to imply that I was being silly for saying things would be more enjoyable simply with the company one keeps."

Reeve managed to not spill the wine on himself, but could not help but laugh a bit. "Indeed I did, didn't I?... Oh well, I think I am allowed to say such things when I want to." He smiled to her, set down his glass and began to eat again.

"Of course. I would not want you to feel like you could not say something in my presence." she said softly, flashing him a shy smile for a moment. Though they still sat next to each other, she looked away from Reeve, letting her gaze rest on her plate and the space around it. Having essentially eaten her fill, she abandoned eating and returned to drinking a little. She did not know why, but she was feeling a bit shy now and continued not looking at him, sitting beside him silently.

Reeve watched her for a moment, wondering what she was thinking. It seemed as if she no longer wanted to be there with him... "Is there something wrong?" He asked as he pushed his plate away and took a drink of his wine. His body was turned to her and his head was slightly tilted.

She bobbed her head a little, taking a deep breath so she would remember to be calm instead of sounding frantic or not saying anything at all. "I must admit that I am feeling shy .. almost uncomfortable at the moment. I know not precisely why I am feeling this way. I believe it is because I have not spent much time with simply myself and one other person in their home, as we are doing so now." she said quietly.
Blue eyes again turned to him, a warm smile crossing her lips. "My apologies if I have made the evening feel .. off. As I am sure you are aware, socially I am a very awkward person .. well more than simply socially, but that is neither here nor there." To show that she was alright, despite being awkward, she gently rested her head on his shoulder, nuzzling him with her forehead for a moment before simply holding her head lightly against him.

Despite her saying this, Reeve smiled a bit. "You are free to leave, if that is what you wish. Just remember you are welcome here any time you wish." Setting the glass down he was about to stand, but suddenly she was resting her head against him. With a small smile he relaxed again. "I do not mind how you are Ziven.. I do not mind it at all."

"My choice would be to remain near you whenever asked." she said very softly, almost sounding sad. Feeling his movement, she lifted her head from his shoulder, not wanting to hinder his movement. Smiling brightly, she felt her cheeks going red with his final comment. Gently, she raised a hand to her lips, suppressing a giggle as she turned her gaze away from him, simply to hide the fact that she was blushing. "I enjoy your company very much also, Reeve." she said softly, again resting both hands in her lap, stealing a glance at him out of the corner of her eye.

Her first comment made Reeve chuckle somewhat. "Then your going to get sick of me very quickly, for I will always ask you to stay near me." After he spoke he stood up and looked at her with a smile. When she spoke he bent down a bit and touched her cheek gently with his hand as he kissed the top of her head. "Would you care to go do something now?"

With a bright giggle, she looked to him and shook her head. "Nonsense, I am certain that it is I who would be making the other sick with constant company. With the time spent with my master, we were together all hours of the day and night. Sometimes all three, sometimes only two. When alone, the time apart still was no more than a few hours .. I am babbling." she said softly, stopping herself. With his next question, she stood and turned toward him, nodding her head a bit. "If you would like to, yes."

"Oh trust me, I shall not be getting sick of you. Not ever." Carefully he took her hand and smiled. "I will not give you a choice. We can either go to the top of the volcano and see the stars, go to the beach on the island or we can stay in here and enjoy one another's company." He tilted his head slightly and smiled warmly.

She looked at him with a small smile though a sadness and concern shown in her eyes. Walking to him, she gently wrapped her arms around his waist, resting her forehead against him. When she spoke, her voice was slightly muffled. "If I have not a choice, why list options." she said with a giggle, looking up at him with a bright smile.

"Did I say not?" Reeve asked, chuckling slightly as he wrapped his arms around her. He had not meant to say not... and that fact that he did made him somewhat embarrassed. With a smile he spoke again. "I meant I will now give you a choice... which do you want to go do?"

"Ok. I think that .. simply remaining here would be great." she said with a giggle. Getting out sounded wonderful yet she really wanted to just be with him, not thinking of anything. Leaning her head against him again, she held him tighter.

"If that is what you wish." Reeve said with a smile as he bent down a bit and kissed the top of her head. One of his arms tightened a bit as the other gently ran up and down her back.
