Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks once at Rhiannon. "I see," he says, even though he really doesn't. For lack of anything better to say, he clears his throat and stands. He holds out his hand to Rhiannon, and starts, "Well, we'll just go and get some water, or whatever you want to drink, and some food. The centaur village is deep in the woods. If there is time, I can show you around the Gaurdian village as well," he manages a smile, even though his brain is still processing Rhiannon's 'confession'. Quote: 'Do you? Well you see more then I do,' she remarked. 'I could use a drink of something.' she admitted. She looked down at her fingers, then standing as well, took his hand. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien frowns a little. "Well, you can chose whatever you want to eat, or drink. I am sure Emme will want to help," he says, starting to lead her to the kitchen.
"Look," he starts. "I'm sorry, about Cyrus. . . " Quote: She tugged on his hand to get him to stop; 'Damien..I dont think I am. Sorry I mean.' she looked at him and then the ground. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien tilts his head to the side, brushing that one short lock of his bangs out of his face. "Ah," he says, eloquently. "I suppose that is a good thing," he adds, not able to bring himself to ask just why she isn't sorry. Suddenly, he is fascinated by the frilly sleeve of his tunic, staring at it as though he just realized it was there.
After a pause, he finally sighs. "What does that mean?" he asks, chancing a glance at Rhiannon before he goes back to studying his sleeve again. Quote: She shuffled her feet, feeling awkward. Come on girl! You kissed him - why is this particular thing so hard to do? 'I guess..' she started. 'I guess because I've found someone that I like that..' she blushed, forcing the words out. 'That seems to care for me. And appreciate me.' Rhiannon looked hard at the floor, her face probably beet red by the heat she felt in her cheeks. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien looks over at Rhi, and feels a jolt of suprise at how she is blushing. Well, he never really thought Rhi could produce a blush that could ever rival his.
In spite of himself, Damien smiles just a little. Then, he has to chuckle. He can't stop himself. He raises a hand to his mouth, as though he can hold it in. "I'm sorry," he says, still chuckling. "I am just a little shocked," he waves it away, forcing himself to become serious again.
"I hope everything works out for the best," he manages, playing dumb. If Rhi looks closely, though, she'll see the smile is still there, accompanied by a michiefous twinkle in his reptilian eyes. Quote: She snapped her head up; 'I meant you!' she exclaimed. Then she looked at him. 'Damien..' she shook her head and punched him lightly in the arm. 'That was just meeean,' and then she giggled. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien laughs now, not bothering to contain it. "It lightened the mood, didn't it?" he says through his laughter.
"Come, we can have a picnic, then," he starts. "The woods are lovely this time of day. What time do you need to be home, anyway?" he asks. Quote: She crossed her arms and huffed, trying to sound annoyed; 'Here I am baring my soul and you make jokes!' she tilted her head up, as if she didnt want to look at him. She shrugged; 'I wasnt given a time,' she gave up, and shuffled real close to him, looking up into his face. 'Working out when you can have your hordes of women around huh?' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "The jokes were to help you, you looked positively uncomfortable in your skin there for a moment," he states.
Damien's innocent face is faked. "Why, perhaps I am. I can't have you here when they get here, now can I? You might make them uncomfortable. . . ."
He grins and shakes his head, brushing that blasted lock of hair out of his face again. "No, actually, I want to know how much time I have with you," he says. He looks down at his manicured nails, something Fauna did when she was bored the other day. "After all, the grounds are rather expansive, and you wanted the tour." Quote: 'Hmph!' she stalked away a few steps and then turned; 'Well are you going to show me the way?' she asked, grinning. 'I'll just get lost otherwise. And I'm all yours for however long you want me,' Rhiannon winked at him. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar He watches her stalk away, humor dancing in his eyes. "Ladies first," he says, gesturing toward the hall and giving a slight bow. "We'll get the food and things, first, and then we'll go to the forest," he pauses a moment, the corner of his mouth twitching. "I probably should warn you, I haven't really wandered the woods much. There are trails, though, so we shouldn't get too lost. . . ." Quote: She grabbed hold of one of his hands and brought it up to her face, kissing the back of it. 'A picnic sounds like heaven. And if we get lost...well I cant think of better company to be lost with,' she smiled softly, then walked in the direction he had motioned to. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks a little when she kisses his hand. He is a little embarased about his scales, but hides it pretty well.
"The same to you, Rhiannon," he says, leading her to the kitchen.
Emme has already filled a whicker basket by the time they get there. "Master Damien and Miss. Rhiannon are goings to the forest?" she asks, and motions with her tiny hand to the basket. "Emme made you a basket for taking with you," she squeeks, obviously proud of herself.
Damien decides it best not to ask just how she knew they were leaving. The house elves in the manor are rather peculiar to him, at any rate, and it doesn't really suprise him that she would have everything taken care of. He should have known, actually.
"Well, that takes care of that," he says, smiling at Emme. "Thank you," he adds before picking up the basket.
"You are very welcomes," Emme's high-pitched squeak of happiness has Damien wincing and his ear flicking.
"Ah, we best go then," he says, turning to Rhiannon.
------
"We should be there any moment," he says, frowning a little and shifting his basket to his other hand. He stops and looks around. It all looks the same to him!
Then, he stiffens. He hears the songs of the elves. "Ah! We are almost there!" he says, turning to grin at Rhiannon.

Quote: 'Almost where?' she asked, a hand touching his arm. She had enjoyed their walk through the woods so far - which were indeed tranquil and beautiful. Her ears caught the faint sound of something. Singing? But she didnt understand the words. 'Whats that?' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "The elves," Damien says, still smiling. He closes his eyes and lets his head hang back a little. "I could listen to them singing forever," he adds.
After another moment, he looks at Rhiannon again. "The elves are our guardians. They watch the woods, the home, us. There are trained fighters, and those skilled in their ancient magic. They aren't too far from the centaurs. Do you want to stop there first?" he asks. Quote: 'What are they singing about?' she asked. 'And I dont mind either way.' It didnt matter to her where they went at this precise moment. She was just happy to be with Damien. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien pauses a moment and listens to the music. "It's one of their songs that tell a story. We missed the first part of it, but, from what I can gather, it is about their wanderings," he sighs. "It took them a long time to find a place to settle," he explains.
He takes Rhiannon's hand again, grinning like a little boy in a candy shop. "Come on, I want you to meet my family," he starts. "Unlce Rinon, and my grandma. If Aunt Ximena is actually here, you'll be able to see her too." Quote: She nodded; 'I kinda wish I could understand what they are singing.' she said, letting herself be dragged along by Damien. 'Okay okay! I would be happy to,' she giggled. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I'll give you some books, and help you learn," Damien offers as he leads her to the village.
It isn't too long before they reach it. It is a hive of activity, the singing louder now as the elves sing as they go about their work. Most of the homes are in the trees, but there are some buildings on the ground. "The Isilme house is on the ground, gradma is too weak to climbe up to the trees," Damien explains.
Some of the buildings on ground level are clearly shops, with food, and clothing, and anything else that might be needed by the inhabitants. "Did you want to look at the shops first? Or eat?" he asks, not sure if Rhiannon has grown hungry yet or not. They've been in the woods a long time. . . . Quote: 'You wouldnt mind?' she asked. It would be nice if she could converse with Damien in the elvish tongue she thought. Her belly gave an audible grumble. 'Umm food maybe first?' Rhiannon giggled, blushing a little. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "No, I wouldn't mind at all," Damien replies. "Everyone should be able to learn such a beautiful language," he says.
Shifting the basket yet again, he nods. "Good, I was hoping you would say that," he admits. "Let's find a little spot to sit and eat." He spotted a shaded spot a little further down the way. "What about there?" Quote: 'Oh your belly was grumbling too huh?' she teased. 'That looks fine and thanks,' she smiled at him, walking to the indicated spot. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien nods. "I feel like my stomach is trying to eat me, actually," he admits, looking embarassed the moment the words are out of his mouth.
He leads them toward the spot and sets the basket down. When he opens it, a blanket is in it. Raising an eye, he pulls it out. It is black with delicate silver vines embroidered in it. "Well, this isn't your normal, red-checkered blanket, but I suppose it would do," he smiles crookedly as he starts to spead it out. Quote: 'If you're that hungry you should have said earlier.' she giggled. 'Silly.' She eyed the blanket. 'But that looks too nice to sit on,' she protested. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I didn't want to sit on dead branches," Damien said. "If I had said something sooner, I am sure we would have eanded up sitting in the middle of the forest."
Then, he has to laugh. "Rhiannon, if you think this is too nice to sit on, then we wouldn't be able to take anything out of the manor to sit on," with that, he plops down on the blanket. "You can stand, though, and eat, if you want. I chose to sit and enjoy myself," he grins again and starts to unpack the sandwhiches and the rest of the food Emme made them. Quote: Rhiannon laughed; 'Just think of me as your token commoner friend,' she winked as she sat down near him. She slid over a little closer and smiled. 'So what did that cute little house-elf pack for us?' she asked. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien frowns. "No one is common," he says, offhandedly. Honestly, he is too used to these sorts of things to even think about how expensive they might be.
He then shrugs, and looks in the basket. "Oh, you know, the usual. Caviar, wine, cheese, some water crackers. . . ." he teases. He reaches inside and pulls out roast beef sadwiches, with all the fixings, and some carrot sticks. Inside, he finds chips, and pulls them out. "I guess this is normal picnic food?" he asks. Quote: She picked up a carrot stick and poked him with it; 'Y'know you never used to tease me so much,' she grinned. 'I'm too good a teacher.' she nodded, then scratched at her jeans. She was kind of wishing she had thought to come in shorts - but Sati had said the place was pretty grand and she felt obliged to at least cover up. And not only that. Rhiannon somehow felt Damien's closeness more keenly when she wasnt so covered up. She was flustered by her thoughts and blushed a little. 'I guess. This is my first picnic,' she said.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Yes, you brought out that side of me. I guess your punishment is to live with it," Damien chuckles.
When Rhiannon blushes, he tilts his head, the short chunk of bangs that he has falling into his eyes. He decides not to ask her about it, and hands her a plate with the sadwhich on it. "Same here," he admits. "But, even if this isn't normal picnic food, it still smells wonderful . . . ." with that, he begins to unwrap his sandwich. Quote: 'Yes I guess it is.' she agreed. 'But you know,' she took the plate with a little smile of thanks. 'You bring out something from me to.' Rhiannon unwrapped her sandwich and concentrated on it. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks again, and swallows his food before asking, "I do? And what would that be?" Quote: She chewed her food slowly, trying to think how best to put it without freaking him out. 'Its hard to explain,' she said finally, putting the plate down to one side. 'Its like I want to be - a good person around you. You make me blush so much and I didnt think I could get so easily embarrassed. I like you alot Damien. And I know it might seem fast. But its like the feelings were just waiting for someone who made me feel special. And not some over-sexed wolven freak,' her voice sounded a tinge bitter at her last words. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien was following her just fine, until the last bit. And, he obviously looks confused. "Well, Rhiannon," he starts, putting the wolven freak thing out of his mind. "I like you a lot, too. And, it might be fast, but that is no reason to ignore it," he shrugs slightly. "Why don't we just go with it for a bit, and see where it takes us?"
Finally, his brow furrows again. "I'm sorry if someone hurt you before," he adds onto the end of that. Quote: 'I've just been feeling like I should apologise for who I am lately.' she mumbled, then blinked. 'Umm I'm sorry - did you really just say that?' Rhiannon blushed again but ignored it. She reached out, putting a hand on his arm and then knelt by his side and hugged him. 'What does this..I am your girlfriend? No no - forget I said. Thats too soon right?' she giggled nervously. 'I'm sorry...I - you just dont know how happy your words made me is all.' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Well, I would think if anyone makes you feel that way, they aren't your real friends," Damien replies. He smiles, though, and puts a hand over hers. "I am glad that I have made you happy," he adds, not addressing the girlfriend issue, for now. He then says, "And, yes, you heard that correctly. I do feel the same way. Some of the happiest times I have had recently have been with you."
Blinking at his own words, he looks down at his sandwish, as if it is interesting. Even if he is being honest, there is that tiny fear that she is going to toss all of that back in his face somewhere down the road. . . . He pushes that away, and moves his eyes back to Rhiannon's. Quote: 'You really have had fun with me?' He was just too sweet. She smiled at him and then he went quiet, looking at his food the same way she had just done with hers; 'Damien? What is it?' she asked, resisting the urge to kiss him right this second - she really did want to know what he was thinking about. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Ah, it's nothing," Damien says, waving it off. "Just me being silly. And, you would just tell me the same thing."
"But, yes, I have a lot of fun with you," he adds. "You keep me smiling and laughing, and blushing," he chuckles. "And, now that I have made a fool of myself," he says, picking up his sandwich again. "I think I am going to murder this sandwich." Quote: 'Well I might say that - but you wouldnt know until you told me.' she smiled a little. 'You didnt make a fool out of yourself. You never could,' she placed a hand gently on his wrist and leaning in, kissed lightly on his cheek, brushing the edge of his facial scales with her lips. 'You can eat it now,' she giggled. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I was only thinking how all of what I have just said could possibly come back and bite me in the . . . bum later," he shrugs again. He smiles when she kisses, though he is still antsy about anyone touching his scales. He kisses her cheek in return, and then settles back in his seat. "Now I can eat," he nods, and takes a huge bite out of his sandwich. Quote: 'Why would you think that?' she sat next to him, holding her cheek and feeling light headed. It was just - well there was going to be a good diary entry when she got home! Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien swallows his mammoth mouthful of roast beef before responding. "Well, past actions can always be held against you. When someone is angry with you, they always seem to take those moments you showed a bit of vulnerability and . . . well, shove them under your nose," he shrugs. "I'm not saying you would do that, but it is a fear that I think a lot of people have. Myself included, it seems."
He finishes the sandwich, and opens a bottle of water, drinking about half of that before surfacing for breath again. "Anyway," he starts. "When you are done, we'll go and see the elven bit of my mum's family," he says, hoping just a bit to change the subject. He wanted today to be more on the light side, not to be depressing. Quote: 'I understand that.' she nodded thoughtfully. 'Well I cant see why I'd be angry with you anyways. Your so cute!' she said playfully. 'Ok sounds like a plan.' she got a drink herself, sipping on it and thinking. She watched him as she drunk, smiling inside. She was mooning over him! Wow she really did have it bad. Thankfully she hadnt blurted out the one thing she had realised when they were sitting on his bed together. Nope - no way. Say that and watch him do a 'Road Runner' impression? She was learning that with guys that the less one said about feelings the better. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blushes and laughs at her comment. "And I, Rhiannon, amd almost incapable of anger. I think we might be safe," he says, winking for perhaps the second time in his life.
He starts to clean up his plate and things, having has his fill, when he notices Rhiannon's eyes on him. "Do I have something on my face?" he asks, smiling crookedly, and brushing absently at his chin. When he doesn't feel anything, he shrugs.
The balmy breeze brings the soft singing of the elves back to him. He had almost fogotten they were singing. It's the same song - apparently is was a very, very long journey - but it doesn't make it less beautiful.
"Here, are you ready for your first elven lesson?" he asks, his eyes moving back to Rhiannon's. "It's a simple sentence," he adds.

Quote: 'No you dont have anything on your face,' she grinned, snapping out of her reverie. She leaned in again and kissed him full on the lips. 'That was what was missing,' she declared as she pulled away. Rhiannon tilted her head; 'Sure! Sounds like fun.' she sat crosslegged. 'Teach me please!' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar The kiss leaves him grinning again, even if he only had time to put his hand on the nape of her neck. He keeps it there when she moces, and he shifts in his seat, so that his is sitting on his legs. His face grows a little serious. He doesn't really use his 'native' tongue around non-speakers. It can be awkward. But, he says, "Vanimle sila tiri." He pauses a moment. "You say it back to me, and then I will give you the meaning," he says, the corner of his mouth twitching. Quote: 'Well okay I'll try,' Rhiannon sounded the syllables in her head before speaking the small phrase; ' Vanimle sila tiri,' she said. 'Was that ok? What does it mean?' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "It was close enough," Damien says, chuckling. He leands forward and whispers the meaning in her ear, his hand moving from her neck to her cheek. Quote: 'Damien..' she whispered his name, feeling her heart melt into a puddle. He thought she was beautiful? She leaned her cheek against his hand. 'I wish - I could tell you something like that in a pretty tongue. But I just have my normal words..' No she would lose her head and say it! She looked into his eyes. 'You are so very good to me.' she lightly brushed her nosetip against his. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien closes his eyes, resting his forehead on hers. "You don't have to respond," he says softly. "Besides, I think I can read your eyes most of the time. That's enough," in another rare, bold move, he kisses Rhiannon softly on the lips.
He doesn't want to break the mood, but if he stays like this, he won't move for a good - oh - year, perhaps? So, he pulls back a bit. with another of his mischeifous smiles, he says, "Now, as lovely as you look on this blanket, I cannot fold it up with you sitting on it. We can leave the basket here, the elves won't touch it. It won't hinder our hiking anymore, either." Quote: 'Oh you can huh?' she smiled impishly, kissing him back when his lips met hers. She felt a little annoyed when he pulled away but she checked herself. There was so much time for them to be close and intimate. She giggled at his comment. 'Well I best get off it then huh?' Rhiannon got to her feet and moved off the blanket. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Unless you want to be folded up in the blanket and shoved in the basket," he replies. When she is off the blanket, he begins to fold it again, hastily, and throws it into the basket. He moves it behind the tree that was proving his shade.
Once he is done and has joined Rhiannon again. "The house is over there, at the base of that big tree," he points it out. Then, he bows to her slightly, containing his grin this time, and says, "After you, arwenamin." Quote: 'I wouldnt fit,' she grinned. 'I see,' she looked in the direction he was pointing, and she was about to move off when he said something in elvish. 'What does that mean?' Rhiannon asked him, an eyebrow raised. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "My lady," he supplies, and moves his hand to the small of her back, though he does not touch it. "Maybe later, we can see if you do fit in the basket," he teases, and starts toward the house, his hand staying where he placed it.
When they reach the home, he moves his hand away, and knocks. As he waits, he turns to Rhiannon. "I know you'll like Uncle Rinon. He's engaged to Tinania's mum," he adds.
It isn't Rinon who answers the door, but a chain-smoking, biker-looking moon elf.
"Ah, hello, Aunt Ximena," he says, wincing a little at the cigarette. "Is everyone else home?"
Ximena narrows her dark purple eyes at Damien slightly, as if trying to place him. Finally, she nods, and steps aside.
"Aunt Ximena, this is Rhiannon," Damien introduces. "Rhiannon, my aunt." Quote: She just chuckled at that - Lady..really she never thought of herself as that! 'I'm sure I will,' although Rhiannon felt a little touch of something when Tinania's name was mentioned. She wasnt sure what it was. It was all very confusing. Did Damien like Tinania as more then just a friend? She didnt even know how to ask. She looked at the elf and politely smiled. 'Its nice to meet you,' she said. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Ximena's polite response is a grunt, and mutterings in elven, both of which have Damien wincing again. She turns and bellows, "Rinon!" before walking away.
"Ah," he smiles a little. "She probably had a long night," he explains, and nods toward a room. "We can wait in there."
No sooner are the words out of his mouth than an elf, that looks suspiciusly like Damien, emerges from another room. He has lonng, blue-tinted silver hair, eyes the color of the night sky, with silver specks in them that look like stars, pale skin, and blue-wire-framed glasses. "Damien, it's always good to see you," he says, walking over to give his nephew a hug. Once that is done, he looks over at Rhiannon. "Who might this be?"
"This is Rhiannon," Damien says again. After Rinon bows slightly to Rhiannon, Damien asks, "Are we interrupting anything?"
"Goddess, no," Rinon replies, good-naturedly. "Both of you are welcome to join mother and me in a cup of tea."
Damien looks over at Rhiannon to see if she will be comfortable with that. Quote: She wondered what this Ximena had said and just nodded at Damien's explanation. Only her affection for Damien was stopping Rhiannon from bolting right now. The elves exotic look, their language she didnt understand - she felt very much like an intruder. 'Hello,' she smiled at Rinon, hiding her nerves. She looked at Damien. 'I dont really drink tea,' she said shyly. 'But I dont mind joining you.' she managed, noticing how close Damien and he were in appearance. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Rinon nods. "We won't keep you too long," he says. "Just one cup, I promise," he turns and leads them toward the kitchen. "Oh, I appologize for Ximena's rudeness. She's like that with everyone, even when you get to know her," he sighs.
Damien puts a hand on Rhiannon's shoulder. "I promise not to keep us here long," he adds to Rinon's promise. "You seem to be a little uncomfortable," he smiles to her.
A fragile-looking, obviously old, elf meets them at the opening to the kitchen. She has dark circles under her eyes, and her age is obvious on her face. She is practically skin and bones. Her hair is a faded, deader version of Rinon's. "Welcome," she says, managing a sad smile for the two of them, but it doesn't reach her eyes.
"Grandma Alasseo, this is Rhiannon," Damien says, introducing Rhiannon yet again.
"Aren't you lovely?" Alasseo says, holding out a small hand to her. "It is a pleasure to meet you." Quote: 'So many people,' she whispered back to Damien. 'I'm worried I'll do something dumb and they all hate me.' Rhiannon gave a little bow of her head when introduced the frail looking elderly elf to her; 'Thank you,' she said. 'I hope we are not intruding,' she said, shaking the hand, feeling the thinness of it.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "After how my mum treated them, I doubt you could do anything to make them hate you," Damien whispers in her ear.
"Not at all, dear," Alasseo says, motioning them into the room when she lets go of Rhiannon's hand. She walks over her own volition, something she couldn't do when she first entered Lenore's life, toward the table. "Have a seat, please," she says. "Rinon will have the tea on the table in a moment."
Damien gives Rhiannon's shoulder a reassuring squeeze before heading to the table.
The stop didn't last too long, only about half an hour. During this space of time, Rinon asked about Damien's trip to Greece, and then turned his attention to Rhiannon, asking about her family and friends. Her hobies, her favorite music, all sorts of things. Alasseo mostly listened quietly and sipped her tea.
Once they are out of the home, Damien smiles sheepishly. "I hope that wasn't too overwhelming," he says. "If you want, we can skip the centaurs, leave them for another time. There are far more of them than there was in the house." Quote: 'It was okay. Really,' she reached out and stroked his face. 'Just a little bit new for me. I really didnt want to disgrace you,' she said. 'Trying to get rid of me huh?' Rhiannon teased at last comment. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks, not realizing what her meeting more of his family might mean. "Well, I certainly didn't mean for that to feel like a test," he starts. "I just meant to show you little bits of the culture around the manor."
Then, he pokes her nose. "No, I'm not trying to get rid of you. I am being the gracious host, giving my guest a way out of an uncomfortable situation," he holds his head up in a snobbish way, the teasing in his eyes. "But, since you seem to be too strong-willed to take it, you are stuck with me, and the centaurs," he adds. Quote: 'I am enjoying myself honest.' she grinned, snapping her teeth at his finger. 'Oh I see - gracious host huh?' Rhiannon giggled, sliding a hand over his chest and moving so that she was pressed against him. 'I can think of better ways for you to be good to this guest.' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien's flushes crimson as he tenses a little. Forcing his muscles to relax, he blinks once, and ask - in a voice he doesn't recognize as his own - "And what would those ways be? Because, you know, a host must please their guest, or they never return. . . ." he says. Quote: 'Oh nothing that you wont like.' Rhiannon moved the hand, running it around his neck and tangling her fingers in his hair. Her other hand went round his back, resting into the small of it. 'Just kissing. I dont think...its too soon for anything more,' she smiled faintly, tilting her head up to his. 'But I think I can live with 'just kissing',' she brushed her lips against his teasingly. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien smiles a little against her teasing lips. "That, I think, I can provide," he says, pushing back any thoughts of what 'anything more' might be. His arms are around her in an instant, and his lips pressed against hers again. He's had quite a bit of practice recently, but he still feels a little clumsy.
Which causes him to blush again. Mentally, her curses Lenore's side of the gene pool. . . . Quote: She sighed softly as they kissed. Each time wiped out the one before. She just loved how this felt! She deepened the kiss, even being so bold as to lightly dart the tip of her tongue against his lips. When she ran out of breath she broke away. Her fingers were still in is hair and she gently stroked it, letting the strands fall away. 'I'll take your lips with me when I leave,' she grinned. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien has to laugh. After the intensity of the kiss, she had to go and say something completely amusing. He looks at Rhiannon, his sea-green eyes dancing, the corners of them crinkling. "Is that the only part of me you like?" he teases, wrapping a strand of her hair around one of his fingers. He feels a little breathless, wondering if this feeling is kind of what the movies always try to convey. Sometimes, it seems a bit more intense than the actors can fake. . . . "I'll get replicas made for you, if that is the case," he adds, humor keepng the laughter in his voice. Quote: 'Oh no,' she shook her head. 'I like everything about you... that I've seen' she said the last bit quietly, her eyes twinkling. She unravelled her fingers from his hair and slid the hand downwards, resting it on his bottom. 'This is nice to,' Rhiannon grinned, wondering how he would take her bold move. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Good Goddess, please give me the strength . . . He prays, and tenses a little when he feels the damned sensation in his gut again. You have forsaken me. . . .
His usual blush seems to travel down his neck now, and he closes his eyes a moment. It's his bum! Not even that close to . . . that! He is starting to hate his body. . . . "Uuuh," he says, articulately. He clears his throat again, and absently reaches up a hand to brush the hair out of his face. "Thank you." Quote: 'I'm sorry Damien,' she said contritely, moving the hand up and resting it on his back. 'I dont mean to embarrass you. I just...well I lose my head when I'm in your arms,' she laid her head against his chest, listening to his heart a moment. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "You needn't appologize for something neither of us, it seems, can control," Damien says. "You didn't embarass me, anyway." His lifts his hand to stroke her hair. "So, stop appologizing," he scolds, playfully. Quote: She nodded, her cheek grazing the material of his shirt. 'Sorry,' she deadpanned, then giggled, looking up at him again. 'There is something I want to ask. But I'm not sure how - what you'll say. How you'll take it.' Rhiannon pretended to be fiddling with an invisble thread on his shirt. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks once, and looks down at Rhiannon. "What is it?"

Quote: 'I want to know..' Rhiannon chewed on her lower lip, trying to work out how to phrase it. 'If there is anything - do you have feelings for Tinania? Remember you said you were afraid that something would come back and bite you in the butt. Well thats my huge fear. That..' she bit harder into her lip, snicking the skin and making it bleed. She tasted copper. 'That you - and her..and.' she sighed. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien bites his own lips. He hasn't disected his own feelings toward Tinania. He is sure that it isn't anything more than friendship, even if they have kissed. . . .
He decides to be honest. "Rhiannon, I have no idea about anything, when it comes to me and 'Nani," he starts. "The only thing I know for certain when it comes to her is that she likes me," he adds. "And, I like you, I already told you that," he smiles a little at that. Quote: She wanted to know whether or not if Tinania pressed the point would he react in kind - but he probably wouldnt answer that either. She wiped her mouth with a tissue from her pocket, tucking it away again. 'I know,' she said, reaching and stroking his cheek. 'I'm just...afraid.' And that was the honest truth for her too. This - whatever it was, was somehow more frightening then when she had been attacked by a werewolf hunter! Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien leans his cheek into her hand a moment before nodding. "I think I understand," he says. "This is all pretty new, and scary, to me too. We'll both just have to wing it, then?" he asks, managing a small smile. Quote: Rhiannon nodded; 'I know. I guess - I know a good thing when I see it,' she winked playfully. 'And I dont like to let good things slip out of my reach,' she kissed his nose tip. 'Soo - what do you want to do now?' she asked. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "That's a good thing," Damien said, kissing her forehead in turn.
"And, I'll leave what we are to do next up to you," he replies. "We still have a lot of exploring to do, if you like. Whatever you want to do." Quote: 'Oh thats riiiight,' she sing-songed her words. 'I'm the guest.' Rhiannon giggled, running her hands down his side and tickling with his fingers before letting him go. She skipped away from him and then turned back and looked over her shoulder at him. 'I know - is there anywhere private around here? Like the lake at my place. I want to relax with you somewhere quiet.' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien yelps when she tickles him, and bends over, crossing his arms over hs stomach protectively.
He is soon clearing his throat and standing straight again, his arms still crossed over him. "I'm sure there is, we'd just have to do some wandering," he says, looking around. "I don't really know that forest very well," he repeats, his smile appologetic. "If we go deeper into the forest, I am sure there will be someplave nice. Ah, follow me, if you dare," he says with a chuckle, and starts to walk back to the trail. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien yelps when she tickles him, and bends over, crossing his arms over hs stomach protectively.

Ah, follow me, if you dare," he says with a chuckle, and starts to walk back to the trail. Quote: 'Sure,' she grinned, her eyes alight with mischief. 'I will follow your bu..you where ever you wish to lead me,' Rhiannon went after him, enjoying the view for a bit before coming level with him and grabbing his hand. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien raises an eyebrow at Rhiannon, but he curls his fingers over her hand. "Just, if you see something of the forest that looks a little sinister, we've gone too far off track. . . " He grins at her, despite the darkness of the subjecy. "The forest isn't too safe. There are vampires and all sorts of things in the darker areas of it. We just need to be careful."
He continues walking down the path, toward a clearing. The sin can be seen brighter up ahead. "Maybe we are getting closer to seclusion?" he says, smiling again and Rhiannon. Quote: 'I might be able to hold my own against most things,' she grinned, flashing her canines. She squeezed his hand. 'I just wanted a few moments away from all the many people you know,' she chuckled softly. 'Its not like I could suggest your bedroom after all.' Rhiannon looked ahead of them. It seemed peaceful enough. The sounds were fading and she felt a little more relaxed. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I don't know many people," Damien says, shaking his head a little. "My family is just rather large, which cannot be helped," he chuckles.
Then, both his eyebrows raise and he grins. "If you wanted to go back to the manor, all you needed to do was tell me," he replies. "But, we're nearly to the clearing," he adds, gesturing toward the opening inthe trees with his free hand. Quote: 'Well I know you cant help that,' she said, keeping her strides level with his. 'Oh now you tell me!' she exclaimed, grinning. 'But - I dunno if its such a good idea. Beds are too tempting.' she said slyly. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Yes, beds are a bit tempting," Damien flashes a grin at Rhiannon again. "I mean, after all, one would just want to fall onto it and sleep," he says, innocently. It is hard to determine whether he is being serious or not. . . .
"And, here we are," he says, stepping into the clearing. "Ah, it isn't much to look at, but, I think that is a little river I see off in the distance, if you want to cool off," he says, shielding his eyes as he looks over at the little sliver of blue in the green grass. Sayuri_Nitta Rhiannon kicked off her shoes and tugged her socks off as soon as she saw the water, letting go of Damiens hand and running into it. 'Ooooo cold!' she called. The water was cold compared to how warm her feet had gotten with their tramping about the place and a shiver ran over her body. She waited for him to come over before she said anything else.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien watches Rhiannon run toward the river. Smiling, he walks quickly toward it, not one to really run. When he is at the edge, he strips off his boots and socks, takes the time to fold them neatly and place them into his shoes, before he sticks his own bare feet into the water.
He winces a little at the icy sensation of the water on his own hot feet. He smiles slightly. "I should have heeded your warning," he says, shivering a little as he grows accustomed to the water. He plops down on the bank of the river, and plucks at his vest a moment. "Quiet enough?" he asks, as he looks around. Quote: She nodded, flicking water with her toes at him before joining him on the bank. 'Its beautiful here,' she sighed. Rhiannon giggled to herself at his earlier comment. 'Damien - you do know I wasnt talking about sleeping right?' she looked at him from the corner of her eyes. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "That it is," Damien agrees.
Then, he moves his eyes back to Rhiannon, and tilts his head to the side. "Then, whatever were you talking about?" he asks, again his tone making it hard to determine whether he is joking or not. Quote: Rhiannon blushed a little; for some reason it was harder to talk about this the more their relationship was progressing. 'Umm. Well. Intimate stuff. Like between two close people,' she said, wriggling her toes around under the water. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien blinks. "More kissing, then?" he nods, smiling a little.
That's where his mind went, anyway.
"We can do that out here, too," he adds. Quote: Rhiannon laughed. 'Yeah kissing is one of the things,' she scooted over and linked arms with Damien, leaning against him. She wriggled her toes over and rubbed her wet foot on one of his. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien smiles and does the same with his foot. He rests his head on hers before saying, "Well, I'll leave it at that, then. You seem to have a hard time talking about whatever else it is that close people do," he chuckles.
He watches as a fish swims, letting the current help it along. "Fish," he comments, seeing another swim by. He's feeling really lazy now, and feels his eyelids drooping. Quote: 'I'm worried if I do say it you'll blush so much that the rush of blood will make you faint or something,' she teased back. She watched the fish swim by. 'Yes its a fish. Sleepyhead,' Rhiannon said affectionately. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I couldn't blush enough to faint. . . . could I?" he asks, then nudges her a little. "And, I can't help it. I guess my lack of sleep the night before is catching up to me. I can still be the dutiful host, though," he adds, girning again. Quote: 'Oh why couldnt you sleep?' she asked. 'Well I dont knoooow. You do go awfully red,' she teased him some more, snuggling against him. So they were only out here kissing and hugging. She could live with that. She let out a little sigh of happiness. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I don't know. The music in the palace was very loud," Damien says, and closes his eyes. "Besides, I was a little worried about today. I didn't know what we were going to do. . . ." he shrugs.
Then, he blushes again. "Well, maybe I could faint. Just. . . . don't ever feel you can't tell me something. Even if it will kill me," he chuckles. Quote: She laughed at that, covering for her feelings. There was that something she wanted to tell him but she darent. 'Well we seem to be doing ok,' she turned her head, brushing her lips against his cheek. 'Not boring you am I?' she grinned. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien hugs her close, eyes still closed. "We're doing fine," he says, the smile playing on the corners of his lips. "And, you aren't boring me. You are extremely . . . comfy," he chuckles, the sound staying in his throat. "But, if we don't start out walking again, I might fall asleep. . . ." he adds dreamily. Quote: 'Oh I'm comfy am I?' Apparently Rhiannon was a pillow. 'I'll wake you up if you like,' she grinned before moving a little, tilting his face up towards hers and brushing her lips against his. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar His eyes snap open a moment, before he smiles and leans into the kiss. His arms are around her again.
When the kiss is finished, he leans back, but keeps his arms around Rhi. "I am awake now," he grins again, running his fingers through her hair. "What next, dear, honored guest?"

Quote: 'See now your just teasing me again,' she mock-pouted, pushing her bottom lip out before dissolving into giggles. It was really no good. She couldnt be serious around him - and her resolve was melting away also. Rhiannon just stared into his eyes, noticing the little flecks of colour, her hand moving through his hair even as he carressed her own. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien tilts his head, his eyes staying on Rhiannon's. "How am I teasing you?" he asks in a soft voice, unable to bring himself to speak any louder than that. His fingers still run through her hair as he continues to just keep eye contact, barely blinking. Quote: 'Well..' Rhiannon started. 'Its just. Everytime you bring up the guest thing I have to control myself. Because. I like what I see.' a tiny blush spread on her cheeks. She felt the heat building within her again as he stared back. His fingers in her hair didnt feel soothing right now. They felt - something else. It was a connection. Skin on skin. She laid a hand on his chest. Want him growled the tiny feral voice within. Quote: (rp carried on in AIM for a bit due to Gaia being a git to Lenore XD ) Damien: Damien's response is a blush of his own that throttles Rhi's rather modest one into the ground. Before he can stop himself, he says, "Weren't you the one that said something along the lines of siezing the moments, before they pass you by?" Once he realizes what he said, he is blinking in mild shock. Rhiannon: 'But you see..' she leaned in, planting tiny soft kisses in a trail along his jaw line up to his hair which she brushed back. She lightly tugged on his earlobe with her teeth, before leaving it and trailing more kisses down his neck. She kissed at his nape and panted a little; 'I dont think you're ready. I think its too early - for both of us.' she kissed back up to his face and looked at him. Damien: Damien's muscles don't tense this time when he feels the fluttering in his gut. He's too familiar with it by now. But . . . The. Ear. An elf's ultimate 'spot.' Perhaps it is the lack of blood circulating to his brain, but when Rhiannon looks back up at him, he places both of his hands on her cheeks, and dips forward to kiss her, rather heatedly, if a bit clumsy. His hands wanders down her cheeks, to her neck, then her arms, then to rest on her hips, his gentle-manly nature at least keeping them in check . . . . . Rhiannon: Rhiannon shifted, feeling uncomfortably warm. She returned his kiss, gently tugging on his bottom lip, trying to ignore the fire he was igniting by his hands benig on her hips. It was silly - but they were closer to that place then ever before. She wondered what of what she had just done had lit his burner, maybe the ear? She slid a hand onto his face, running it round his ear, a finger gently stroking the edge of his ear, whilst one did the same just behind, softly teasing the little area where his ear met his head. Damien: Damien's feels his muscles tingle as she caresses his ear. He feels oddly as though he is. . . . melting? Dying? But in a good way. . . . All thought is lost now, even as he is painfully aware that he has no idea what he is doing. He just senses that he is still kissing her, actively seeking to deepen the kiss, as his hands move to the small over her back, and a little lower, gently trying to . . . nudge her into his lap. Rhiannon: Definately the ear, she thought to herself, as his hands shifted. Her fingers stayed under his hair, softly stroking his ear - she shifted, sliding her legs so that she was straddling his kind of, her feet dripping water a little. She slid neatly on his lap, pulling her lips away from him a little so that she could grin at him. 'You have me now,' she purred, her voice throaty. Damien: When Rhiannon pulls away, the haze over his mind clears . . . even if just a bit. The glassy quality of his eyes is apparent as he takes a moment to lift his lids and look at Rhiannon's again. Even as the little voice in his head is telling him that this is probably way wrong, he dips his head to n** at Rhiannon's neck, before mimicing her movements from before, and trails kisses to her collarbone. He takes a moment to n** there as well, before his lips seek out hers again. His hands roam a bit more, moving to her stomach, lightly running over her sides, her back. He doesn't dare let them go anywhere else. . . . Rhiannon: 'Damien..' she managed to say, as he kissed along her neck. His lips there made her shiver in a good way, and his moving hands that went near but didnt quite go near enough were a torment. She shifted on his lap, and her hands went down his back. The little feral voice inside her was shouting now but she tried to ignore it. Damien: Damien manages to pulls back at the mention of his name, hands resting back on Rhiannon's hip. The fact is, the seat shifting is clouding his brain more. . . . "Hmmm?" he manages, in a voice that is not entirely one that he recognizes. . . Rhiannon: 'I .. this is..' Yup she couldnt even bring herself to make sense right now. It was exactly like when Kate had seduced her. Only better. And they still had clothes on! She felt like she had an all-over itch. 'You are teasing me with those hands,' she grinned, finding his ear again with her fingers and attacking his lips with hers. She pulled away again. Damien: Damien actually shivers when her fingers find his ear again. As soon as she pulls away again, he says, "Then . . . show me what you want," the voice still not one he recognizes, though the tone is serious. The little voice of reason in his head has huffed into silence. . . Rhiannon: 'Oh really?' she ran a hand down one of his arms and took his hand. She held it to her face and kissed the back of it. Then she rested it against the curve of one breast. 'Well - this is a start..' Rhiannon looked at him, wondering what his reaction would be to her boldness. Damien: Damien's response is to . . . let his hand stay there a moment, as he, of course, flushes a charming shade of pink. Then, his hand and fingers seem to grow a mind of their own, and he is soon caressing. He glances at Rhi a moment, to gauge her reaction, before leaning forward to kiss her neck again. Quote: Well he hadnt moved his hand away..but a moment later Rhiannon decided that whilst it wasnt a bad thing it probably wasnt going to help how she felt. Her lips parted and a little moan of longing slipped out. She placed her hand on top of the one at her breast and stilled its movement; 'Not..a good idea,' she managed to say. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien is a little too curious, and has a brain far too muddled, to be embarassed right now. So, when he pulls back, he tilts his head a little, willing back his blush. "Why?" he asks, his voice barely above a whisper. It seems that is as loud as it will go right now. Quote: 'Its just not..' she mumbled, managing to focus on his face. She leaned in, her lips going near one of his ears and she breathed; 'Your turning me on and its too soon for that,' she moved away again, her mouth brushing his ear as she did so. 'I think maybe we should cool down,' she said reluctantly, not looking at him. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien flushes a dark red, but he refuses to sound or look any more embarassed than he really is.
Keeping his voice light, he says in a soft voice, "You hold the reigns, and I respect your feelings." He pauses a moment. "Perhaps it is a little too soon," he manages a smile, even though he is really, really embarassed by how he behaved. . . . Quote: 'Perhaps?' Rhiannon picked up on that immediately and grinned at him. 'Its just,' she shifted a little on his lap, reaching for the ends of his hair and fiddling with it. 'We only just started down this...road,' she frowned but couldnt think of a better way of putting it. 'And I dont want to make you run away from me by being too forward.' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien ignores Rhi shifting in his lap, and manages a genuine smile. "Yes, perhaps," he says. "And, that is all I have to say on that matter," he chuckles.
"But," he places a finger under her chin. "Don't be afraid to be yourself in front of me. You are a forward person, sometimes blunt. But, that is what I like about you. Besides, you don't see me running, yet, do you?" The word 'yet' is said in a playful tone, noting that he really has no plans on running, anyway. Quote: 'Teaser,' Rhiannon smiled a little, and then fell silent when he tilted her head up. A little blush began on her cheeks and she smiled at him; her heart was singing a little - he liked what she thought were her faults! Then she socked him lightly in the arm. 'Bah!' she tried to sound miffed but the silly grin was still planted on her face from his charming comments. 'Not like you could whilst I'm perched on your lap anyways.' she stated. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Ow!" Damien says, feigning pain. "You don't know your own strength!" he rubs his arm, in character but for the smile on his lips.
"And, if I really wanted to run, I am quite sure that I could get you off of my lap without manhandling you too much," he teases. He goes to poke her nose, and in an act of silliness he did not know he was entirely capable of, he sticks his tongue out at Rhiannon. "But, I rather like you where you are. Despite the fact that my legs are falling asleep," he teases. Quote: Rhiannon made a snatching motion as his tongue peeked out; 'You could huh?' she winked at him, then grinned. 'Oh but why didnt you say!' she exclaimed and shifting a leg she reached and rubbed his thigh, twisting a little. 'I'll wake them up.' she said, running her fingers along his leg. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien's eye widen a little as she starts to rub his leg. "I think they are awake," he says, his voice cracking in one of his painful moments of puberty. He clears his throat and tries to look anywhere but at Rhi, trying to pretend she isn't doing what she is doing.
Searching for anything to take his mind off of things - he's afraid of what he might do should he not - he fails. "Uh," he manages in a lame voice. Quote: She worked her fingers on his leg, enjoying the feel of his muscles under his clothes, her hand straying closer to the top of his leg - then stopped and blinked, realising what she was doing. 'Umm...' she chewed on a fingernail and looked at him with a smile at the corner of her mouth. 'Sorry.'

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien lets out the breath he did not know he was holding. "It's fine," he says. "It's not like I wasn't enjoying it," he blurts. He doesn't turn red, this time, thankfully. He's still trying to pull his brain back into his head. At this point, he probably would have teased Rhiannon, but he is not mentally there. Quote: Rhiannon nodded, running her hands over his chest and wrapping them behind his neck. She kissed his cheek, moving to his ear and gently pulled on the lobe with her lips. Then she moved so that she could look into his face again. 'Oh Damien.' she said. 'You know I'm being a very good girl here.' she grinned. 'This restraining yourself stuff isnt easy with you around.' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar When she is done assualting his ear, Damien's mind starts to focus again. In a teasing voice, he says, "I'd hate to see how you were if you weren't restraining yourself," at that, he lightly kisses her lips. "But, you aren't exactly making it easy for me, either," he states, still teasing her. Quote: 'I'm not huh?' she brushed her nosetip against his. At some point she realised that they would have to get up again. She didnt even know what time it was. All she knew was that being with him again was just, if not more pleasant then the last time. Rhiannon felt that had fallen deeply into..the 'L' word with him. She didnt even want to think the word let alone say it out loud yet though. Her hand slid up his arm, going to his face and tracing along his jawline again. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien smiles a little sheepishly. "No, you aren't," he says softly. He reaches up to stroke her hair. "So, if we don't get moving again, I am afraid of what we both might do," he adds. He glances up at the sky, watching the dark clouds roll in. "And, it looks as though it might rain soon," he chuckles.
He says all of this to ignore complex feelings, and thoughts, in himself. He'll deal with them later, when he has time to be alone in his room with his journal. Quote: 'You're probably right,' she conceded, standing slowly as her legs had become stiff from sitting on him so long. She stretched, arching her back and looking up at the sky. Rhiannon sniffed the air. 'It smells like rain.' she said, looking at him. 'Should we head back to your house?' Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "I think so," Damien says, standing. He kicks his legs out a little, to get the stiffness out. "Unless you want to be rained on," he smiles, and starts to head to the basket. "It shouldn't take too long to get back to the manor, now that I pretty much know the way," he chukles as he picks up the basket.
When he returns to Rhiannon, he offers her one of his arms. "Shall we?" he asks. Quote: She nodded, squeezing his arm as she hooked hers around it. 'Thank you sir,' she teased gently, letting him lead her back to his house. The air had cooled, but being with him made her feel warm still. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "You're quite welcome, my lady," Damien inclines his head as he leads her toward the manor.
When they finally reach the manor, the sun is starting to set. He sighs when they reach the kooi pond again. It will be dinner time soon.
"I would love to hang out again with you, sometime soon," Damien starts, glancing over at Rhiannon. "If you agree to it, of course," he says in a light tone, still unsure of himself. Quote: Rhiannon nodded, realising that the day had flown past and they were once again at the bit she was beginning to hate. She kicked the ground, looking at her feet. 'I really would like that,' she said, feeling a prickling in her eyes. Oh this was silly! She would see him soon after all and she brought her head up and forced a smile for him. 'You'll have to come to mine again? See my room,' she suggested with a little grin. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "It's a date," Damien says, not even realizing what he said, but smiling anyway. He looks over at the manor a moment, watching the lights start to come on.
He looks back at Rhi, putting a hand on her cheek before leaning in to kiss her lightly again. "I'd better go. I'll walk you to the gate, though." Quote: 'Damien I lo..' she started to say before he leaned in and kissed her. She kissed him back then nodded. 'ved it here..' she changed it to, losing her nerve again. 'Thank you for inviting me over,' she said as they walked to his gate. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien chuckles. "I'm glad you came, you're always welcome here," he says. When they reach the gate, he opens it for her, and leans against it a little. "I'll be around in a few days, if that is agreeable? Maybe next week?" Quote: She nodded again, leaning over towards him and kissing him goodbye. 'I cant wait,' she grinned and winked. 'Take care!' she said as she walked away, blowing him a cheeky kiss as she left.

Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien freezes when he hears his name. He turns a bright red as he clears his throat and lowers Surion. He shifts the baby to his hip and brushes his long braid back behind his shoulders.
He hurries back to his seat after waving to 'Nani. He doesn't know whether they are speaking again or not. . . . Without giving Damien a chance to respond to her she releases him and head back to Ala, taking a seat she curls up next to her and smiles " So when do I get to babysit again?" Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien bounces Surion on his knee again, hoping to have him giggling again. "Sure," he says, without a thought. "Wait," he looks over at Elle a moment, remembering Mum Lenore, Nyoka, his deepening closeness to Rhiannon, and everyone else in his life. "How long would I be gone? And, do I have to stay there all the time?"
Damien blinks when he feels arms around him. When he sees who it is, he isn't given any time to respond, so he nods back at her, and then shrugs. 'Nani is probably really busy talking to Ala, anyway. Jiora He returned Tinania's smile, and.. ..and.. ..where was she going again so suddenly? That'd been..weird. Maybe she was just...um.. Or maybe she'd heard the other woman call her back - though he was quite sure she hadn't. At least, he hadn't heard anything like that...
Again, he turned a curious eye on Damien. Why was it that the girls were acting strange around him? He'd thought that was something they normally reserved for himself.
..it was nice to not be the center of attention amongst the girls for a change. Alatariel Rakamash Surion grinned "t-t-t-t-t-t-t!!" he bounced happily looking at her as she left Ala chuckled "Was thinking of calling you again in teh next few days actually" Ala admitted Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien looks thoughtfully into space. "I don't know. I would need to speak with Mum Lenore, first. And Nyoka, everyone else," he says. "Mum Eirnae's been gone a long time, and I want to make sure Mum Lenore is fine if I do leave," he adds. "I'll think about it," he says, smiling to Elle.
His' slitted pupils slide to look at Cyrus. "I don't think she would have asked me had you agreed to going. I suppose with your new job you can't just pack up and leave," his smile widens a little, in a friendly manner. Krista DarkAngel Tinania smiles " That be fun, I would just have to talk to Kira and find out if she could teach class that day..." she lays her head on her arm, she seemed so relax and calm. " Oh could you let Mr. Torvil know I'll be bring back some of his spell books? I had finally found the spell I was looking for, now the trouble is finding all the items needed for it..." she pushes her hair from her face looking back at Damien before looking away agin. " I'll just have to ask my grandfather when I see him in Durem later this weekend.." she let it slip and didn't even notice that she mentioned her grandfather. caroline_cupcake Sadie turned over to the group of teens with a curious look. Caroline had told her of the Somonen Academy and she was planning on applying. Sadie took a deep breath, got her "cool" together and walked over. "Hey, guys, sorry to just interupt anything going on...But I hear your talking about the Academy, are any of you applying? " She stiffened her back and bit her lip nervously. "I got my forms ready, so hopefully I shall be applying this semester." With a tiny nod, Sadie flashed everyone a tiny smile. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "Flattery, Elle, might just get you everywhere," Damien smiles a little at her.
Then, a flash of a very foregn emotion comes to Damien's reptilian sea-green eyes when he looks at Tinania. Nyoka had told them about both his and Tinania's grandparents the other day, and he still isn't sure how he is going to deal with it. He'll just have to talk to her later . . .
He forces the anger down, and looks back at Elle, Cyrus, and now Sadie. "I'm thinking about it," he admits. "And, I am trying not to be too concerned. Mum Eirnae wouldn't be away for so long unless it was something important. But, I miss her. . . ." he sighs a little, looking down at Surion. For 'old' time's sake, he sticks his tongue out at him again and crosses his eyes.
He then turns to Cyrus again. "Well, I hope you can try for next term," he says. "Does anyone know when the last day you can apply is? Just so I know how long I have to make a decision." Alatariel Rakamash "Your... grandfather?" Ala stiffened slightly then tried to relax "I'll let Torvil know, though I'm ot sure he's concerned about if he gets them back or not...." Surion squawked and reached forward grabbing whatever clothing he could and tried to pull himself to stand which wasn't really easy when he was being held caroline_cupcake "Oh, thank you. I bet next semester you can apply, maybe? I think the school is getting rather popular already." Sadie nodded with a resurring smile. Sadie turns towards Damien and grins. "Well, I know I shall atleast try and apply, atleast I'll most likely feel more at home there then with Caroline." She grimaces as she mentions Caroline's name then chuckles. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien helps Surion, mindful of his silk vest. Thinking it better if he was on the floor, Damien scoops him up and sets him back down. He links his fingers into Surion's fists and pulls up gently, trying to help him stand better. Krista DarkAngel Tinania arches a brow " Yea...have you met him? He really nice, when my grandmother wasn't with us, he would take care of us. Me, Ducan, and Celia. It was fun, I promise I would go see him, but then I got grounded." she pauses as she lays her head on her arm " But now that I'm not I'm gonna go see him this weekend. My mother's brother suppose to be there also...As will Melantha.." she giggles as she taps her foot alittle. Alatariel Rakamash Surion blinked and looked up at him, he gripped the fingers i his fists tightly pulling on them to try and stand "Aaappfftt?" he said Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien stiffens noticeably at the words he is overhearing from Tinania, the muscle in his jaw working overtime.
Rather than say anything about it, he looks back at Elle, and says, "Mum Lenore says that I look almost exactly like her," he says, before glancing at Sadie. He's in a rahter uncomfortable position, his back bent so that he can help Surion still. "Good luck to you, Sadie. If I get in, I might see you there," he smiles a little.
He has to chuckle, however, at how excited Elle is becoming. "Well, two horses for thirty people. That will be interesting," he says. "Thank you, however, for all of the information." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "We'll write you, Cyrus," Damien offers. "I just hope that life hasn't sent you more than you can handle right now. We'll be epecting letters back," he grins now before looking back down at Surion.
"Yes, you're doing fine," Damien replies, not at all sure what Surion was asking, anyway, as he gently pulls Surion up again. "Maybe you can try to take a few steps." caroline_cupcake Sadie glances over at Elle and puts her hand out. "Hey, I'm Sadie." "Oh, well I hope you do! I know my Aunt gave you a job, so I bet she'll be more than glad to help if you need anything... considering she is the charitable type." Sadie tilted her head a bit as she looked at Cyrus. She then turned towards Damien. "Well, you mean if I do get in of course." A wary grin flashed upon Sadie's face. Alatariel Rakamash Ala looks at Tinania and skirts the question about how she knows the girl's grandfather... "Who is Melantha?" she asks curiously Surion giggled and bounced holding Damien's fingers once he'd gotten himself standing Krista DarkAngel Tinania eyes brighten " Melantha, she awesome, she my mothers twin, or at least that what my grandfather had said." she sits up giggilng " She got black hair that goes all the way down her back, green eyes, then she also got the marking like me and mum." She pause then thinks " Oh I can't forget her cobra Midoshi, she always has it with her. I think she knows how to speak to her. Because the snake only listens to her..." she pulls her cell phone out and flipping though the picture she holds it out to Ala " See? That Melantha, me and Midoshi. Ducan took it for us." caroline_cupcake Sadie glanced down to the ground as she scuffled her foot a bit, she indeed felt uncomfortable... what was she supposed to talk about, the weather? "Well, this feels rather weird." She blurted out. "I mean, have you ever felt weird, with those awkward silences and nothing to talk about?" Sadie shrugged with a weak smile. "Considering I've lived in the dream realm all my life and don't even know what that thingy back there is called, feels pretty weird to me." She waggled her finger towards the slide, the part of the Dream Realm where she had lived had a rather renaissance feel to it, a dash of fantasy and add one quarter of a dream that never ends. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien returns Elle's hug, and smiles after her. "I'll see you later," he calls after her.
He turns back to Sadie, and say, "If you think negatively, then you won't get in," he pauses. "Just stay positive, and you have a better chance of getting in."
After a short study of Cyrus, Damien is a little worried. But, he says nothing, save, "I know we don't know each other too well, but if you need to speak to someone, I'm here," in a soft voice, for only he and Cyrus to hear. "Good luck, then, Cyrus," he adds. "We'll get in touch somehow if everything goes as Elle wants it to, to get your address." Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien returns Elle's hug, and smiles after her. "I'll see you later," he calls after her.
He turns back to Sadie, and say, "If you think negatively, then you won't get in," he pauses. "Just stay positive, and you have a better chance of getting in."

"Good luck, then, Cyrus," he adds. "We'll get in touch somehow if everything goes as Elle wants it to, to get your address." caroline_cupcake "Yea, I'm just not to keen on these parts so my confidence level has dropped about 10 points." Sadie nodded slowly and bit the bottom of her lip. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar "We can try walking to your mum," Damien tells Surion, still holding onto him so he doesn't hurt himself.
Damien looks in the direction Sadie was pointing. "It's a slide," he says, smiling slightly. "It's fine. No one would expect you to know everything, anyway. Many people aren't originally from here." Alatariel Rakamash Surion dropped down and turned crawling towards his mom and Tinania Ala stared athe picture wideyed gasping. Her eyes travelled back up to Tinania and she gave her a smile "Nice picture" she said to her caroline_cupcake Sadie smiled. "A S-l-i-d-e." She laughed as she repeated the word. "I guess your right, Aw who's that?" Sadie looked at Surion and cooed. "He's so chubby and adorable!" not wanting to be an obstacle in Surion's path, Sadie stayed to the side watching him rather curiously. 'So, what exactly is it like here?" She carefully lowered herself to the ground and sat in an Indian style. Krista DarkAngel Tinania giggles nodding " Yea, I'm glad I have it, I have one of my granfather also. They call me almost everyday just to see how the family is. I tell grandfather that mum's always busy so she never home. Grandfather says its sad I'm left alone. I told him I'm not." she places her cell phone away then smiles " I like having the house to my self, gives me time to think. Also I get a chance to work on my spells." she giggles watching Damien and Surion, she looked as if she was herself again. Lenore Slytherin-Natenhar Damien waves to the familiar newcomer. As he tries to place her, he glances back at Sadie. "That's Miss. Ala's son," he says, nodding toward the crawling baby. caroline_cupcake "Ooo." Sadie waved at Surion, she positioned herself and laid on her belly so that she felt closer to the child. ...........

Quote: 'I dunno,' she grinned at him, fidgeting and then pulling out from underneath herself the bra that she was sitting on. She put it away in a drawer and sat back down again. 'You seem very..organised to me.' Rhiannon looked at what he was paying attention to. 'Ignore that stuff,' she grimaced. 'Sati keeps trying to get me to try it. I dont think its me really. Do you?' she asked lightly. Damien Casnes Damien clears his throat descreetly when he sees the bra, and looks elsewhere. "Ah, Rhiannon, but you forget you have not seen me when I am deep into my studies. I just throw things here and there, paper is all around me. Broken quills, and the like," he smiles.
Then, he looks at Rhiannon, and the make up again. "Well, I don't think I have seen you in make up, so I wouldn't know. But, I like you the way you always are, anyway. The natural Rhiannon is beautiful." Quote: 'Oh really? I'd like to see that.' Rhiannon teased. So he wasnt perfect in every way. Well...he was to her, but it was nice to know he was similar to her in some ways. Feh she was confusing herself. She blushed then, and pounced on him, going to tickle him because she was so tongue-tied by his compliment that she couldnt think of anything to say. She ended up kind of falling on him and probably pushing him back onto the bed. '..ooops.' she said quietly, flailing as she tried to sit up again. Damien Casnes Damien is so shocked, he lets out a quiet, high-pitched "Meep!" as he falls back onto the bed.
When Rhiannon starts flailing, Damien grabs her shoulders gently, and starts to try and help her sit up. "I told you that you didn't know your own strength," he remarks. "Stop moving, and I might be able to help you up," he laughs. Quote: 'No I'm fine,' she stammered, blushing beet red. This was her bed! And they were both on it...in sort of horizontal positions. Her mind was being horrible to her and bringing up all sorts of mental pictures that wasnt helping her blush at all. She finally stopped moving, and looked down at him. 'Hi..' she managed, her voice sounding a little high pitched to her ears. Damien Casnes Damien dontinues laughing quietly. "Hello," he replies. "Why in the worlds are you blushing?" he ask, reaching up to poke her nose again.
The situation is far too amusing to him, for some reason, for him to even be thinking about any of the things Rhi might be. . . . Quote: 'Because you're lying underneath me..' she whispered the last word, still blushing. 'And I'm going to sit up now hopefully and...I dont know.' Although what she actually wanted to do was lean in and kiss him, fall into his arms that sort of thing. Damien Casnes "I really don't see why . . ." Damien trails off, the talk Nyoka insisted on having with him coming back to his thoughts. "Oh," he says. "Well, ah, just, roll off of me?" he suggests. Quote: Rhiannon finally put her hands either side of his head, letting them sink into the covers, and leaned in, pressing against his hands and kissed him. 'Okay I'll roll off now then..' she had shifted, her legs either side of his now and she slid across him, flopping down on the bed next to him. Damien Casnes Damien is a little diappointed, for some reason, when Rhiannon rolls off of him. He shoves that back, feeling completely silly. Why did it matter, anyway?
Instead, he takes her hand in his, and kicks her foot lightly with his. "Come on, we've got the day to be together, and I have some money. I'll take you out somewhere. We'll do something different than wandering around the woods or the like. What do you think?" he asks, turning his head so he can look at her. Quote: She nudged back with her foot, squeezing his hand; 'Sure that sounds good,' she moved her head across the covers before she could think properly and not do it, locking her lips onto his and kissing him deeply. Her foot moved a little further up, tucking around his ankle and she pressed into him. Her little inner voice was yelling at her that if her parents walked in now...but she pushed it away and pulled Damien to her a little. They would go out, but for now she just wanted to be held. Damien Casnes A little suprised, obviously, Damien doesn't react at first. Soon, his arms are around her again, and he is returning the kiss.
He finds himself thinking how they actually ever get anywhere, if all they do is kiss. Not that he is complaining, of course! He likes this too. . . . Eh, probably more than walking anyway. . . .
When he pulls away, he opens his eyes, meeting Rhiannon's. He smiles, a slight twinkle in his eye. "I got the impression you were uncomfortable doing anything more than talking with me on your bed at this point," he teases lightly. Quote: 'If I dont do this now it might be ages till I can again,' Rhiannon said, depressing herself a little by thinking about it. She sighed. 'I'm...well I do really like you,' she said, tracing a circle on his arm with her finger. 'Lying here. Well it kind of makes it more...umm serious? The bed is here, and so are we and my mind is terrible and keeps teasing me with images.' she grinned. Damien Casnes Damien chuckles, shaking his head a little.
She opened the door, her has to tease her. If he has learned anything from Rhiannon, it is never let an opportunity to tease someone pass you by. Or any oportunity, really.
"What sorts of images?" he asks, feigning a pretty decent innocent look. Quote: 'Damien..' she squeaked, ducking her head behind an arm. Her voice came out muffled; 'You dont want to know,' Rhiannon mumbled. 'If I talk about it - I might want to do the..stuff.' she finished lamely.

Damien Casnes "See, now I am curious," Damien says, poking at her side. "I'll just have to use the tickle torture for you, until you spill."
Then, he laughs a little. "Don't worry, it will be when you least expect it. So, you have dodged the bullet. This time," he adds.
Truth is, thanks to Nyoka enlightening him on the intimate games that some couples play, he can kind of guess what she is thinking about. . . .
"But, I hope some of those thoughts are of what we could do today when I take you out," he says, unaware of how someone's mind might be able to twist that around on him. Quote: 'Ahh..not really,' Rhiannon grinned. 'I'm not into doing...well I dont really want an audience.' she giggled, snaking a hand across his belly. She looked at him; 'I guess we should move?' she asks lightly, not sure if she wants him to say yes or no to her question. Yes means they move. No means they stay and she might just have to .. pounce him. Damien Casnes Damien places a hand over the one Rhiannon places on his stomach, and smiles a little, ignoring the little jittery feeling.
He is blushing, though, when her words sink in. "No, I don't think I would be into it either," he admits, turning a darker shade of pink.
He clears his throat again, weighing his options. With an almost regretful sigh, he replies, "Yes, I think we had better move," as he props himself up on his elbows. "We should have a full schedule today, I think," he chuckles. Quote: Rhiannon wriggled her fingers a little, ruffling his top. Her hand stroked his belly, and she smiled; 'Yes Nin hi we probably should move.' she said, her voice soft. They very definately had to move because she actually wanted him now. 'I'll change into something better ok?' Damien Casnes Damien nods, and sits up a bit more. "I'll just wait for you in the living area, then," he says, leaning forward to give her a light kiss before sliding off of the bed.
One last teasing remark before he shuts the door . . . "Don't take too long, I know how you women are . . ." he then closes the door behind him quickly, so as not to have something thrown at him. Quote: 'I'll take an hour just for that!' she called, giggling. She quickly flung her top and shorts off, putting underwear on this time. She hopped around the bedroom as she did her bra up, moving clothes around with a foot. Some of her stuff was still hanging up and she ferreted around in there, pulling out a pair of jeans in a soft denim, coloured a deep blue. She pulled them on, and then looked for a top. 'Ooh this one,' she grinned a little as she pulled it over her head. The top was white, low cut and it gathered under her breasts. It looked kind of like the top part of the dresses in a Jane Austen film - all pushed up cleavage. She tweaked it, looking at herself in a mirror and tugging a brush through her now dry hair. She brushed until her hair hung in shiny waves around her face. She smiled at herself. Even she thought she looked pretty - she hoped Damien did to. Locating a pair of white trainers, she slipped them on and hurried to the living room. She walked in and smiled shyly. 'Will I do?' she asked. Damien Casnes Damien, who had had his hands clasped behind his back and was studying the living area while he waited, now turns at Rhiannon's voice.
His eyebrows wing up, his eyes widening ever so slightly as they fall, and despite his best efforts, linger at the dip of her blouse.
Coughing descreetly, and making a point of moving his eyes back to Rhiannon's face, he smiles in what he hopes is a charming manner, and not a sheepish. "Rhiannon, you are always perfect," he manages to say. He holds his hand out to her, before asking, "Shall we, or do you need to leave a note for your parents?" Quote: She giggled, noticing where his eyes went to; 'Well thank you,' Rhiannon dipped a curtsey, her eyes twinkling with mirth. She took the offered hand. 'Its fine. They pretty much trust me not to disappear for days or to do anything silly.' Damien Casnes Damien clears his throat again when she curtsies, willing his eyes to stay on her face.
Of course, they stray. So, he is forced to look ahead when she takes his hand.
"That's good," he remarks, smiling a little. Oh, he would get her, somehow. All the times that . . . yeah, and that shirt, and that little dip. Somehow, someway, he would get her. . . .
All of this is thought is the friendliest of ways, really. A sort of a challenge between friends, to him at least.
He brushes his hair over his shoulder again. "So, what will it be? Lunch? A movie? Shopping? Whatever you want," he says, chancing a glance at her. His eyes behaved this time, so he keeps them on hers. Quote: 'You can look you know,' she teased, squeezing his hand. 'I wore this top for you.' Rhiannon giggled. 'I dont know. Food maybe? I could use something to eat. If you know somewhere nice?' she asked. She didnt actually care where they went - well as long as there was Damien, and well food now as well she would be happy. Damien Casnes Damien blushes a little. "Ah, well, I still feel bad for looking," he admits. "Though, don't get me wrong. I like the top and . . . them." he claps his mouth shut. "Shutting up, now. . . ." he mumbles.
He starts to lead them toward town, thinking a little. "Well, I am not sure what you are hungry for," he starts. "Do you have a craving? I know many places to eat at. . . . ." Quote: 'I have many cravings..' she grinned. 'But food? You decide Nin Hi. I really dont mind.' Rhiannon laughed at his blushes. 'I wouldnt have said it if I didnt mean it.' she hugged his arm nearest her. 'And you can like ..them,' she stifled a laugh. 'Its very flattering and natural.' Damien Casnes "Ah, well . . ." Damien stops. He doesn't want to have a discussion about Rhiannon's breasts. Something embarassing might come out, and he will feel like a fool the rest of the day.
"You're probably a carnivore," he teases a little. "They actually have nice burger restraunts," he says. "Not of the fast food variety, I assure you nîn hiril," he adds. "Does that sound agreeable?"
Well, now, he has a craving for a burger. . . . Quote: She grinned, her little white, pointed canines showing for a moment; 'A burger sounds good to me. Lead on my love,' she said the last words softly, still unsure of using such familiarities with him. Rhiannon fell silent as they walked. Damien Casnes Damien can't help but grin at what she said. His heightened hearing was good for something, it seems. "And I shall, nîn meleth," he replies. "It's 'my love,'" he supplies, before she can ask this time.
He reaches for her hand again as they enter town. "Ah, there is one of them," he points, not to far from where they have entered. He starts for it. "It might be crowded at this time, you're alright with that?" he asks, remembering how uncomfortable Rhiannon had been when his uncle and grandma. Then again, that was under different circumstances.

Quote: Rhiannon blushed a little, but nodded as supplied the elven version of what she had said. She whispered it, memorising the little phrase. 'Its fine,' she said, squeezing his arm again and letting him lead her. She did start listening intently though, her eyes sweeping the area, looking at people. The last time she had spent time in a public place like this had been with Cyrus - and she had been attacked. A nervous little feeling tugged on her but she pushed it away. Damien Casnes Damien looks at Rhiannon, watching her looks around. He moves his arm to hug her shoulders, and nudges her closer. "Hey, we don't have to eat here if the people are going to bother you," he says, a little frown of worry on his forehead. "I don't want you to be uncomfortable when we are supposed to be having fun," he says, offering her a smile. Quote: 'No I'm fine. I'm being silly,' Rhiannon said, moving her arm around his back and hugging him. 'Its not like I'm going to be attacked a second time I'm sure,' she made a joke of it, smiling at him. Damien Casnes Damien frowns a little, almost forgetting about what happened to Rhiannon before.
"Well, for my peace of mind, then," He starts, squeezing her shoulders a little. "I'll ask for a place in the back. That way, we can keep an eye on everyone."
And, when they get inside, he does just that. He blinks when he is informed the wait will be only five minutes. Did they luck out, or what? Especially with the lunch rush. . . .
His eyes scan the room, looking at all the different people, seated and waiting for tables. To take his mind, and Rhiannon's if it is still on it, off of the attack, he asks, "Doesn't that smell just make your mouth water? I think I'll have my burger done in - oh - two minutes?" his smile is an easy one again, determined not to let anything ruin the last full day he has with Rhi. Quote: 'If my tail was out it would be wagging,' she giggled, her foot finding one of Damiens and winding round it under the table. She glanced around the place once, and then relaxed a little, just keeping an ear out so to speak. 'Umm so do you know exactly how long you'll be gone?' she didnt really want to bring it up again, but she did need to know. Damien Casnes Damien grins, humor in his eyes. "I think that is something I would like to see," he says, moving his leg a little to allow for easier access to it, he supposes.
Then, he sighs, picking at the corner of the menu in front of him. "I believe it is four months," he says, though this time he keeps his eyes on Rhiannon. "Don't worry, though. We can still see each other. Like I said, people are allowed to visit," he says, mustering a smile for her. "It really isn't forever. And, before you know it, the time will have flown by." Or so he hopes. . . . Quote: Rhiannon rubbed her foot against his and smiled at him. 'Yes well I dont have the right clothes on for my tail, so thats not really an option.' she chuckled. 'Four months?' she echoed, staring hard at the table. 'That seems so long.' Damien Casnes Damien: "Well, some other time, perhaps?" Damien suggests. Then, he does have to look away. "When you say it, yes, it does seem like a long time. But, when you live it, it is very different. I mean, recent months have just flown by for me, what with studying and me actually spending time with people. When I come back, you'll look at me, and say 'You were gone?', or something like that. It will seem as though I left yesterday. . . ." The fact of the matter is, he is trying to convince the both of them. He never really thought he would get close enough to someone that, should he ever want to leave on a long trip, he would miss them, or have them miss him. But, he couldn't hide from life's little twists. . . . Rhiannon: 'Yes maybe,' she picked up a napkin from the table, folding it into a tight square and then putting it down again watching it slowly open up again. 'No I doubt that.' she looked at him. 'I doubt I could not know that you were gone for the four months.' Rhiannon sighed. 'I'm sorry. I'm bringing the day down. I dont want to. I know you have to go. But I'm feeling selfish and I dont want you to go.' she poked the tip of her tongue out at him at that. 'Four months without being able to kiss you! I wont be able to survive,' she said dramatically. Damien: "Well, if it is any consolation, I don't want to go anymore," Damien says, taking his own napkin and snapping it open. He places it in his lap, smoothes out the wrinkles. Then, he manages a smile. "I told you, you can visit," he says. "Besides," he says, waving his hand absently. "I can't come home to find that lack of . . . kisses has sucked the soul from you. I don't know how I would carry on, you being soulless and knowing I was the reason for it," he pauses for a dramatic sigh of his own, before turning twinkling eyes back to Rhi. It is then that their waitor shows up and asks what they would like to drink, and if they are ready to order. Rhiannon: Hearing that he really didnt want to go anymore made her feel happy, and warm. His feelings must be true. There was still the teeniest niggling doubt that he was just doing all this to be polite and charming but the more time they were spending together that day, the more that doubt was being erased. 'I know...' she grinned. 'But a dormitory isnt very private - so many rooms close to each other. One could never make loud noises and not be heard.' Rhiannon smiled mischeviously, then blushed as the waiter arrived at their table 'Ahh..I'll have fresh orange juice and a burger. With no yucky pickles or anything it in it please!' she asked. Damien: "Hot tea, and a burger as well. Everything but onions, thank you," Damien replies. When the waitor leaves, he looks back at Rhiannon slowly. "Well, you know, it is a magic school," he says, making a big show of looking at his manicured nails - Fauna got a hold of him before he left Greece again. "I can use my wand. I think I might be able to soundproof the room. . . ." It is unclear whether he is joking or not. But, he is, he wants to see her blush again. She doesn't do it as much as he does! Rhiannon: 'Damien!' she exclaimed, her cheeks radiating heat. Rhiannon lowered her voice and moved her chair closer to his. 'You are terrible to me you know. And if you insist on it then when I visit you might actually need to soundproof the room..' she winked at him. Damien: Damien supresses a laugh, covering his mouth with his long fingers to try and hide his smile. "For you, Rhiannon, I would soundproof anything," he says, once he is sure he can trust his face again. He looks very serious now. But, if Rhiannon blushes, or has another outburts, or even kicks him, he might burst into a fit of laughter that will have others in the establishment sending looks their way. . . . Rhiannon: Rhiannon shook her head, giggling and covering her red face with a hand; 'Bad, bad boy.' she chided. 'And this couldnt have occurred to you in my bedroom?' she leant over, whispering still. If he was going to tease her, then he would exactly the same back. Damien: Oh-ho-ho! Two could play at that game! Still keeping in his laughter - but how much longer? - he takes his napkin off of his lap, and throws it on the table. He leans over as well, looking around, as though to make sure no one is listening. "Forget the food, then," he says softly. "Let's go back." But, alas, maybe two cannot play that game. He does start laughing. What he just said is just something he never would really see himself saying. It's just so . . . he doesn't have a word for it right now, because he is too busy trying to keep his laugh to a chuckle. "I'm sorry," he says, leaning back again. "I didn't really mean it, honestly," he adds, just in case he offended her in some way, or she really hadn't caught on to the fact that he was joking. . . . Rhiannon: 'No thats fine..' Rhiannon looked at him out of the corner of her eyes. 'Get a girl all excited and then take it away.' she picked up the napkin he had just discarded, balling it up and threw it at him. She was mostly joking, but a part of her had hoped...well there was time for that. Plenty of time. She ignored the colour rising in her cheeks and looked directly at him. 'You're getting too good at that.' she smiled. Damien: Damien is still laughing when he bends to pick up the napkin, which had bounced off of his shoulder. "I'm sorry, but . . . once you get started, sometimes you can't stop. Besides, I never used to be able to do that, until you started it," he says, his laughter dying now. "Well . . ." he draws out the word, and raises an eyebrow. "If you really did want to go back . . ." Okay, maybe he couldn't stop all together? Or, maybe some hidded part of him really isn't fully joking? A very, very well hidden part of him. Because, if he isn't joking, he doesn't realize it. Yet. Rhiannon: Rhiannon looked at him and quirked an eyebrow; 'See - too good of a teacher.' she nodded, then reached over and poked him. 'Damien if you say that one more time I will grab you and we will leave, and our next stop will be my bed.' she put her elbows on the table, clasping her hands and leaning her chin on them and looked at him. Damien: Damien jumps a little at the poke. But, he does smile. "O, ye of little will," he says, reaching over to poke her. "And, will you, now?" he adds, mimicing her pose. Though, the tips of his ears are turning red. Very soon, it just might become a full-out blush. Rhiannon: Rhiannon nodded; 'Yes,' she said firmly, although she was also wondering how far she would take this. She did want to do .. stuff with Damien but was also not sure if they were ready. 'I definately will,' she winked again, grinning. Damien: Damien is equal parts terrified and intrigued by the implications of such an action. As a result, he merely looks at Rhiannon a few moments. But, he is soon grinning again. "Maybe sometime very soon, I will let you have your way with me," he starts, the blush indeed spreading a little. "But, now, the food is here," he says, watching as their waitor brings the food. Once it is set on the table, the waitor leaves. When he smells the food, Damien is reminded of just how hungry he is. Quote: 'Well I hope thats a 'maybe' promise,' Rhiannon chuckled. 'So it is,' she tucked into her burger, noting with relief that it wasnt too over-cooked. She swallowed a bite, sipping her drink and smiled at him. 'This is nice - how is yours?' Damien Casnes "It's a maybe promise, then," Damien says once he has swallowed his mouthful of burger.
"It's very good," he replies, talking of his burger. "This is one of the few places around here that knows how to make a good burger. But, their fries are the best," he says, taking one and biting into it. Quote: 'Well I prefer the burger,' she said, after swallowing another bite. Rhiannon grinned, wiping her mouth with a napkin. 'Must be my wolf side.' she hiccuped a little. 'Excuse me. So what do you want to do after here?' Damien Casnes Damien chuckles, as he is more inclined to fruits and vegetables, himself.
"Ah, well," he says, taking another fry in his hand. "That is where we have a problem. You see, we had no set plans for the day, so I have no idea what we would do nxt. We could catch a movie, or do some shopping?" he suggests. Quote: Rhiannon finished her burger, nodding as she washed it down with her juice. 'Well no, you're the one that just popped round after all,' she grinned, teasing him. 'Not that I minded of course. But I dont know. Did you have something you needed to get before you..go?' Damien Casnes Damien finishes off his meal as well, sipping some of his tea as he goes. "Well, I might need a new journal, and I would love to get some new quills," he says, glancing down at his empty plate. "But, I really would rather not bore you with shopping for . . . school," he says, offering her another of his small smiles. Quote: Rhiannon chuckled; 'Its fine. Besides,' she reached over and touched the back of one of his hands. 'It wont be boring because I'm with you Nin Hi.'
