Camdon The question is: (as seen in the header)
Do the clothes you wear HAVE to reflect your musical preference?
I was walking down the street listening to Slayer (Angel of Death), when some chick in a trench coat started bitching at me. I was wearing a yellow shirt...
Feel free to discuss
-Camdon well thats really ******** stupid.. Id slap a hoe!!!!! Clothes don't mean s**t I think everyone should be who they want to be.. For example.. at my school I hang out with rockers and wanabe gasters.. The wanabe gangsters like me more than the rockers yet I wear all black, have more than 10 wristbands on each arm, and wear a choker. So if anyone thinks clothes affect person ality you can do this >8llllllllllllllllllDO:

if the clothes do not offend someone else, i think that clothing doesn't have to reflect what your music preference is. i listen to rock, rap, and other stuff, but if you didnt know me, id look like a total emo geek, with pants two sizes to small, but im buff, so then aristocratic minded people would go crazy tring to size me up.

i don`t think you have dress the way you listen to music. it all depends on your style i guess.

I personally think the whole social system is screwed up, why have "goths" vs. "preps" or "homies" vs. " jocks", and all other stereotypes. It really doesn't make any more sense then being racial, everyone is racial. That fact cannot be denied or worked around. It all has to do with opinions. I'm looked down upon from lots of people, because I do what most people don't, I act like me. I have already gone through the " wanting to be like everyone else stage" and now I tend to observe the "other social groups". They call me an outsider for wear cute clothes one day and black depressing garb the next. Its my style, I was told to quit listening to heavy metal, punk, and even rock, and to listen to classical, christian rock, and so on, because someone thought that my music was were i got all my ideas. They never thought i might have come up with them on my own... so in my opinion (key word opinion) I think clothes do not neccesarily portray our music, or should, they should portay how we feel any given day.... that is all
p.s. if you would like to denie me my opinion please do so, i enjoy recieving opinions of other people, just please do not get caught up in stereotypes rofl

I don't think it should matter. I mean listen to whatever you want to listen to and wear whatever you want to wear. If you love Ozzy and wear model like clothes, so what? That's you and your style. People just need to shut and stop criticizing. (sp?)
I can understand if your yellow shirt said something like B!tch or worse, because it's really offensive when there are children around. But other then that I think people need to just keep to themselves if they can't be nice and decent towards other people.
