*laughs* Oh, musicals. How fun they are. I think everyone wants a big part in at least one play or musical. I don't audition for things because like I said, I don't get a chance because I'm needed elsewhere. Had to skip out on Oklahoma (Acting AND pit orchestra) because of how I'm in charge of our Orchestra's play, and prop master for A Midsummer Night's Dream, which is in the same general time frame. (And Romeo and Juliet scenes we're doing for a small show. My school loves Shakespeare. XD)
I've only ever met one other person who's a prop master. *laughs* And he's the guy who's in charge of Oklahoma. I'm not really familiar with many people from other schools, so I haven't met that many.
Our bus was so cold this morning that the melted snow on the floor froze over when we opened the door. No kidding. >.< And the inside of the bus' windows had ice on them.
*laughs at the fact that you said 'she'* Well, my friend may be feminine, but definitely male. XD Despite how often we force him to cross-dress. If it's the same guy that he knows (meaning - if he plays viola at Interlochen), then supposedly he's quite a... I believe he called him something between a nerd and a dork and horridly annoying. Andrew's a common name, though, so he might be some one else. All depends on what he does there.

He really wasn't too specific about what he did at Interlochen, really. sweatdrop Could be. Horribly annoying I could see. Sorry that I called him a girl, I wasn't really thinking too much about whether the person was a boy or girl.
That sucks that you can't try out because of the prop thing. sweatdrop

Well, today was dancing and tommorow is singing. The day after that is the callbacks.
Dancing was a nightmare. First, she had us do this routine that involved a lot of twirling with your arms out and I kept running into people! sweatdrop Shay, the dance instructor, took forever to teach us our dance routine and wouldn't give us a water break so we were all so thirsty. Then, we learned how to waltz, which I actually wasn't bad at. biggrin
I'm nervous for singing though.

Dun be nervous for singing~! Your voice will crack, and you'll not do as well as you could. >.< That happened to me last year when I was attempting to get a scholarship for Blue Lake. The guy told me I actually got $100 off what I would have because I got nervous. I thought that was kind of... shitty, but then I realized that you have to be confident to sing. XD What are you singing?

"A Lovely Night" from Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (that's the play.) 3nodding I'm trying not be nervous, but there are some high notes that I do tend to crack on. You go to Blue Lake too? No way! I've gone there for 4 years. 3nodding 3 for art, 1 for percussion (that was a mistake). I assume you went for singing if you did go.

I haven't gone yet, but I'm going this summer for choir. And theatre on the side. *laughs* I was going to go last year, but unfortunately, my mother sent in the application too late, despite my constant nagging her to, and they didn't have any space left for me. I've heard a lot of good about the camp, though. 8D So I should defiantly look forward to going?

I think I might be going to that one as well, if it doesn't mess with any other plans. 8D I've got only like... three weeks of summer that don't already have plans. XD

Hey Zarl! whee
That would be so awesome if you went to that one. 3nodding I know what you mean, I don't usually have much free time in the summer between 2 annual family reunions, BLFAC, and band camp. sweatdrop
Finished T.B.C.'s freebie and changed my title to mime since tree enthusiast, while true, takes up too much space.

But yeah, that would be uber spiffy if we went to the same one. 8D I'm not much looking forward to the uniforms, though. >.< Are we allowed black pants?
