The villagers continued to come in close their pitchforks and other household items ready to beat Tsai. He was completely out numbered, even if he did resist. He sighed and then looked at the old man.
"I'm just an explorer, I really haven't come here for anything but to sightsee," he said as he scratched his head. "This is rather extreme, don't you think?" he asked the old man.
"Don't question us, we know what you shinigami are trying to do, your trying to bring us back to that dump you call paradise, well we aren't going!" the old man shouted and spat at Tsai. Tsai wiped the spit off his face, the old man was really ticking him off. First, he gets ganged up, now he gets spit at. If he wasn't on the side of good, Tsai would have pretended that the old man was a hollow and killed him on the spot and any other villager who dared to step up and fight him.
But Tsai held himself back and took a breath. "If you don't believe me, then I'll be on my way," he said as he began to walk away from the village, the villagers made a path for him towards the exit. As soon as he left, the villagers got back to their everyday work. Tsai returned to the boulder, he was ready to return when he had heard a large bang and a large cloud of dust rose from where the village stood. He could hear a large hollow roar.
Tsai quickly dropped his bag and ran towards the village. He knew the instant the roar was heard that a hollow had attacked the village. He held his zampaku-to and ran as fast as he could towards the village.

arrow Aozora Fields; Village
He looked at the village, it was completely demolished, there were little dog-like hollows attacking the people. Tsai drew his zampaku-to and quickly slaughtered the hollows. But then a huge roar was heard, it came up from the ground, and looked like a mole except, it had the mask of the hollow. As it came up it swallowed a few villagers. This hollow was a pretty high classed one too. Tsai wouldn't be able to take it on. The hollow stood at nearly 10 feet, it was huge compared to Tsai.
He began backing up, it seemed hopeless. This hollow was more than a match for Tsai. He stared at the hollow's eyes as it stared down at Tsai. It licked its lips and got out from its hole it created. This hollow looked rather familiar, Tsai saw it in one of his textbooks at the academy. The infamous "Digger" hollow, it claimed the lives of a few shinigami students before and Tsai would have to face it alone. He continued backing away from this huge hollow.

arrow Entrance to the Cave Kaosu finally arrived to the source of the energy, and saw a waterfall. "What the hell?" Kaosu managed to pant, bending over and catching his breath. "A dead end." But then he noticed it, a few light sources coming from within. He knew of few waterfalls that could do such. He trudged through the edge of the water, soaking his robes with water until he finally made it under the roaring sheet of water. What he saw astonished him. A humoungous, cavernous, hollowed out section of the waterfall held torches and various tools of training, Kaosu was sure. He heard another screech, and it came from deeper inside the cave. And now a tunnel? Kaosu thought. He looked harder, and did in fact notice a large tunnel leading through. He flipped a torch out from it's hold and ran down into the tunnel. "I hope whoever made this won't miss this." arrow Aozora Fields/Village Finally, after about 10 minutes of running, Kaosu saw a large white hole grow in front of him, and he had to adjust his eyes for a second from the torchlight to sunlight again. He bent over and heaved in air, then looked up to see a large hollow in the middle of lush, green farmland; dust accumulating everywhere. Then, he saw a familiar black robe. Whoever was over there was a shinigami or in-training. Kaosu bolted and finally made it to the figure. He huffed as he approached, and said, "Hey....need some....help?" 1

Mai was nearby training in the Aozora Mountains, when she heard a hollow roar, then screams from people. She quickly got down from the mountain as fast as she could, when she entered the village, she saw a huge mole like hollow, and Tsai.
She drew both her zampakuto and looked as vigilante as ever. "Oi, Tsai, we meet again," she shouted as the mole like hollow turned around and gave a growl to Mai. It was huge, Mai was almost intimidated by the size of the hollow.

Tsai looked at Kaosu then at Mai who was at the opposite end of the hollow. "What are you guys doing here?" he asked, he was rather surprise, what were the chances of these two being here? He looked at them. "No matter, we got to take this hollow down and save the remaining villagers," he continued as he continued backing up. "But be careful this hollow is the digger, and if you've been looking over your notes, you should know how dangerous this hollow is at least, for us students," he finished off his sentence.
Tsai waited for the others to reply.

The hollow roared, and Kaosu stated, "Whoa, does that thing have bad breath or what?"
With that, Kaosu drew his scimitar-shaped zanpaku-to. "Hey, ugly, I woke up just to deal with you. Better make it worth my while." Then, he waved at Mai who just showed up, and nodded at Tsai, saying, "You guys ready? Don't wanna do nothin' unless you guys are ready."

Mai nodded. "I'm as ready as ever," she rushed in first at the hollow, it was staring at her, so she might as well attack it. She jumped up ontop of the hollow and stabbed her zampakuto's downwards into the flesh of the hollow.

Tsai also nodded. He charged in at the hollow, who's back he was facing Tsai and Kaosu. "Let's take advantage of this Kaosu," he shouted to him now that he was a few feet away from the hollow. He slashed at it's back, which was completely covered in fur.

With that, Kaosu sprinted off with his already-weary legs, reaching the hollow in mere seconds. "Alright, he's ours." Then, he shifted to the right, in hopes of not clashing with Tsai, and took a slash at the thing's oddly furry back.

The Digger begins to sink itself into the ground to avoid the shinigami who were ganging up on him. It could now swoop up and take a bite out of any one of them.

The Digger manages to dodge all the shinigami's attacks and is now underground, he then digs itself up and launches itself out. It comes crashing down at Kaosu ready to take a bite at him.

"You stupid piece of crap!" Kaosu yelled as it jumped out at him. He ran backwards, watching the hollow coming down at him, near the point of impact, Kaosu jumped backwards, away from the attack.

Just as the Digger rises up to attack Kaosu, Mai attempts to jump onto it again and unlease her wraith onto it. She hopped on and got ready to stab at it's back. This was a really hard task, since it was moving so quickly, she also had to jump off as soon as he tried digging into the ground or she'd be caught under.
