Woo, resurrection.
Well what films have we seen of late?
I saw Narnia the other day, I don't know what to think of it. Too kiddy for me I think. Mainly I'm just over the whole everyone jumping on the fantasy bandwagon.
But one cannot wait until The Producers is out on the silver screen. 3nodding

Narnia left me quite dissapointed, as I'm sure most people have heard by now. It was a bit kiddy hey? But... It didn't have to be. Like the book was hell scary in parts, and had a heap more substance and depth.
It just didn't really make me feel anyything. The scene where Alsan died always used to rip me apart... even in the TV series where he was a puppet. But in this I hardly felt sad. He was supposed to be powerful! We are supposed to feel his power... not just garner that he is powerful by a couple of guys going "Yaay Aslan! He's great n stuff."
The same goes for the queen woman. What was with her dress?! It looked like it was paper mache or something. Seriously, I couldn't follow what she was saying because I was just thinking: "What the hell is going on?! Why is she wearing that? Does she ever get changed? Surley it mustn't be very warm, what with all the snow falling down her boobies, etc, etc." Also, she wasn't very scary.
The animation was terrible too. It just SUCKED. Especially when whole shots were animated, like when it was looking down on a bunch of people. The horses were so badly done. They should have just made it a freaking cartoon.
The only good things about it were Lucy and the fawn. All the other kids were sucky actors and the fawn was just cool.
And that is why no one should ever mention that movie again in my presence.
