look to the Western sky... Nini nodded, her jaw set in determination. This was different from earlier when she had steered. This time she didn't know what she was up against.
But she took the wheel, and did her best to get them out of the way of the bulge. As someone told me lately,
everyone deserves a chance to fly

Kibo: Yes and no. They're a lot like you. They don't feel pain, although they can be hit by... well, anything we can be hit by. However, they're different, too. Any damage they inflict isn't physical. It attacks the victim's very soul, leaving marks like that winged elf did to me. The soul breakes away from that part of the body, allowing that part of the body to live, but with no real soul behind it. And because of this, it can penetrate any kind of armor the enemy is using, even the hulls of a ship. But, if you want to help, take this.
Kibo tosses down a clear sword, which sticks into the deck. Another spirit pulls it out, but no mark is left in the deck itself. He runs to Bigfoot, and hands it to him.
Kibo: Everything I just said, about the souls ripping away and all that, applies to that sword. Use it well.

"I didn't get a word you said, but this sword should be alot faster then my war hammers." Bigfoot takes his pistol and other tiems that would weight him down and jumps for the crow's nest with a might leap. "Ya woo!" Bigfoot yells, as he falls toward the monsters head. (Takes one warhammer, and Kibos sowrd)

Gwendolyn gritted her teeth. This is what haunted her dreams from time to time. A series of thoughts kept going through her mind. "We won't be able to defeat them. My powers aren't strong enough against him... Oh, heck with it." She grabs BigFoot by the scruff of the neck just as he plunged down.
No! Don't shoot! It's the Flying Dutchman! We have to get away! Before he spots us! I don't think they noticed us quite yet! But c'mon! Hoist that anchor! Quick before they send that blasted Kraken!

Kibo's eyes widen with shock, then settle as a slight grin crosses his face.
Kibo: Well, it's about damn time!
He flies to the water's surface, and flies in place, waiting for the ship to approach.

Gwendolyn tilted her head in curiousity. Not knowing what Kibo was waiting for, angel wings sprout from her back and she flies down next to the captain.

He unravels some cloth from his palm, revealing the now dulled mark of Sammy the Skull.
Kibo: Remember this? I say it's about time I found out more about it.

"Well, there goes my fun." Bigfoot says, landing with one knee on the deck. "I'll be right here if ya need something!" Bigfoot yells to Kibo and Gwen. Bigfoot stands right where he landed on the deck, watching what is going to play out.

look to the Western sky... Nini watched the conversation go back and forth. She had heard of the Flying Dutchman and Davy Jones, but she had never believed in the legend.
Now she watched as the buldge got closer, wondering if the story really was true, or if this was some joke. As someone told me lately,
everyone deserves a chance to fly

Kibo frowns.
Kibo: This is taking too long.
He closes his wings around his body. As he falls, the wings morph into a dome around Kibo's head, allowing him to breathe underwater, if only for a little while. He falls beneath the surface, and the bulge stops. Several minutes later, Kibo appears above the surface, his wings spreading again. He flies back to the ship, binding his hand back up.
Kibo: Okay. Gwen, is there anything you want from him, or can we go?

Gwendolyn furrowed her eyebrows and she stared at Kibo for a while. There was nothing she could do since there was nothing that allowed her to go underwater for the amount of time she needed.
Sammy the Skull...that brings back terrible memories. But in my opinion we should avoid the Flying Dutchman at all costs. Shall get out of this area?
