The boy gave a sigh. "And I suppose I'm your well behaved brat of a younger twin to all of them..." What was the point of meeting them if they weren't Hao's friends? If none of them really wanted to have a friend? It seemed pretty bleak, trying to 'associate' with people instead of make friends.
"You know, if you're just going to show me off like some kind of oddity, I think I'd prefer to go home, Hao."

"What, don't want to spend time with your Niisan?" Hao laughed, continuing to lead Yoh deeper into the Nest. "I'm hurt, Otouto~"
"Indeed, he really does bear a startling resemblance to you, Hao-kun," a soft laugh drifted through the air as Muraki stepped from the shadows. "Such an adorable little boy, " the unicorn commented, giving the angel an appraising look before--
"Muraki. I don't think that Hao-kun really needs you deciding to play games with his younger brother," Tatsumi cut in, moving forward from the other end of the hall.

The boy blinked at the sudden appearance of two new characters, wings fluttering slightly. "Games who wha?"

Hao laughed, breaking the tense moment. "I like my little brother whole and alive, Muraki~!" he laughed, smiling.
"But of course, Hao-kun," Muraki smiled and bowed, giving Yoh the slightest hint of a kiss on the way out.
"Don't mind him. I'm Tatsumi," the coon bowed slightly. "It's nice to meet you."

Yoh's fingers brushed along his cheek, somewhat startled. He wasn't innocent, necessarily-- his friend and comrades were far from 'inexperienced', it's just... the creepy unicorn kissed him. Kind of.
He gave the coon a laidback grin. "Sankyuu~ It's nice to meet you too~" he chirped, replacing the thoughts of Muraki with Tastumi's image. Much easier that way, less thinking.
And he wasn't sure if Hao was helping or not. Probably not.

"I apologize for Muraki's behavior," Tatsumi rolled his eyes slightly. "He's one of the more--"
"You're going to turn my Otouto against my associates before he even meets them, Tatsumi!" Hao protested with a smile. "Let him make his own ideas, ok? Besides, don't you have some other things to do-- like make sure that Muraki isn't heading for Hisoka-chan's room?"
That was a dirty trick, and both the demon and the coon knew it, but it worked-- as they both knew it would. Tatsumi gave Yoh a tense smile. "I hope you enjoy your stay here. Please excuse anyone's bad behavior-- or make a formal complaint to raven-san if need be." With that, the coon slipped off in the same direction as the unicorn.

Waving good-bye to Tatsumi, Yoh couldn't help but feel a little... Afraid. Anxious. Dreading for his mental health.
"I think I liked him," he commented ruefully, turning to follow Hao anyway. "He was nice."

"Who, 'Tsumi?" Hao laughed, using his little group's nickname for the coon. "He's a funny one," the demon shrugged as he pulled the angel along. "But easy to play with."
Asteil had been zipping through the halls when he stopped, came back and stared. "You must be Yoh," he smiled, still staring at the boy. "Hao's talked a lot about you."

Yoh stared back at the boy.
"Niisan's...uh... I'm sure he..." Talking about me?
Yoh gave up trying to come up with a witty response to that.
"Oh, really?"

Asteil pointedly ignored Hao as he continued talking to the charming younger brother. "Yup! Your brother's a real b*****d, you know? I've never met someone who had a brother so weird before-- except maybe Siri and Regulus, but they're both pretty nice, at least as far as I've seen... then again, I haven't really met too many people who have family--"
"Chattering all day, Asteil?" Hao cut in with a slight smirk. "You aren't off chasing after your kitty?"
Asteil flushed before giving Hao a look of pure anger and frustration. "I was talking to your brother."

Yoh grinned at the boy, looking quite interested in what Asteil had to say, hoping to ease some of the frustration away. "I know! He's a real meanie-butt and I wonder how he's my brother too. I mean, he's my twin and I guess we're alike in some ways, but he picks on me and other people SO much!"
The boy slid a brown eyed glance toward his mirror image, his eyes tinted with light orange while Hao's held a blood red. "He's just like, GRUMPY all the time!"
((don't mean to take over Hao too much with the eye color phrase, that's just the way you and I usually RP, and... yeah. mengo.))

((It's fine, dear~ I know.))
"You're a sweetheart and he's just mean!" Asteil grinned. "You shouldn't spend so much time with him-- sorry I wasn't at the door to bring you in, but I was in the library reading and apparently HE got door duty..."
Hao laughed, pulling Yoh closer and forward. "Come along, Otouto~ The little strange one will be around later for you to talk to. But I want you to meet some important people.
Usually, those comments would've made Asteil leave quietly, but not now. Maybe Kairos was giving him some more backbone. "Hao, maybe you should give your brother a chance to choose what he wants to do. I don't know if he'd be interested in meeting the rest of your little coterie."

Not being one for conflict, Yoh raised his hands in a pacifying gesture. "I'll come and talk later, ne, Asteil? I'll just meet everyone first, and then come back. So then I know who's who!"
And something in his eyes say, "And who to avoid."
But with another grin, he vanished the uneasiness reflected in his expression. "I really wanna see you again, Asteil. I think we'll be good friends."

Asteil appeared about to argue, but nodded. "Okay, Yoh-chan! I'll make sure we talk later when your meany-brother isn't around."
Watching the spider-web-winged demon fly away, Hao laughed softly. "I think it's time I introduced you to our angel here..."

"If I wasn't conisdering pacificism, I think I might have kicked you," Yoh declared, not really paying attention to Hao. "Asteil was friendly and nice unlike everyone else besides Tatsumi-san and you were a jerk, Niisan!"
He was fuming (only a little), looking quite cross.
"I should've just gone with him instead. At least I wouldn't have to hang out with my bully of a brother."
