Topanga lay there, feeling Aki breathe beside her and simply enjoying the feel of him. Her eyes were closed & she felt a contentment she had never known before. A sense of security in something being known on such a level that nothing could waver it. Sighing happily she lightly kissed his bare chest before resting against it once more. No... she would never tire of this.

Aki, not knowing that he did this, let out a purr to the kiss. He moved his other arm around her in his sleep, Giving Topanga a snuggle. After he setteled Aki started to snore lightly

Topanga would not be the one to wake him. Only if he told her ahead of time that he needed to be somewhere by a certain time would she have done so. Sighing happily she closed her eyes feeling Aki's other arm come around her. She had to supress a giggle when he began to snore and her heart loved him all the more. She loved to play, yes. But this... this made her feel content. Whole. Complete. Her heart murmured softly to her in happiness. She did not know what it said, yet somehow she did.

After a while Aki begane to wake. He was a bit groggy but once the memory hit him a smile was on his lips. he looked down and the female in his arms and pulled her closer. "happy" he said. Because of the grogginess he could have either been asking her or saying he was

"mmm..." Topanga mummured against him. It did not matter if he was asking or telling. "Yes"
The word fairly purred from her lips, she was so happy. She moved a fin lightly across his body, trying to think what they should look for in a home. Topanga was having a hard time looking beyond this: just her & Aki -together. That for her was enough to make a home. But she knew -probably from Elanorriel's gentle lectures- that there likely should be more to it than that. Something safe. Something fairly large sized ... for both wanted young. Possibly lots & lots of young. The clownfish smiled at the image of small Aki's swimming around snuggled even closer if it was possible.

Aki gave a small chuckle. not knowing him mind was int he same place as hers was. He liked caves for homes, as long as they had open holes for light. HE remembered there was a cave but could not think if it was big enough. being that they did both want kids, so a few rooms for them to stay even when they grew and had gone. He slowly was waking and as he did he realied that going and looking for a home would be fun. just being with her, thinking about where they would be. He gave her a light kiss, "when you are awake, just let me know." he let go of her only to stretch, then his arms where back around her smaller bodie

"Oh, I've been awake." Giggling Topanga kissed him tenderly. "You snore." Mischief danced in her deep blue eyes, sparking that hint of purple in them. She was teasing Aki, she knew. But it was fun.

Aki stopped and looked shocked, "I... I what?" his arms had relaxed and he was not holding her at tight. He neve knew he snored and was now upset to find out that. For some reason he thought she was awake because he kept her up with his loud snoring.

Pouting and giggling all at once Topanga swam her body lightly across his. "You snore. It's very..." Purposefully she paused, as if searching for the right word. In reality she wanted to see how cute Aki was if he squirmed. "Endearing."
Winking, the clownfish moved so that the flicking of her tail swept lightly back and forth at the place on Aki where fish & human merged. "Ready to find a place to house our home?"

When Topanga talked about his snore he was cringind... untill he hear her finish, "you mean you don't mind?" his face got a little bit of hope on it
Aki closed his eyes to her movements, "We should really get looking..." but he was also enjoying this closeness... with a sigh, he started to sit up, "okok i'm up and ready." a smile playing on his lips as he kissed the female

"Mind? Whyever should I mind?" Her eyes alighted on his body happily, moving herself to follow with Aki as he sat up. Topanga had the feeling she would be perfectly happy with simply being close to him -snuggles or otherwise- forever... after they found the perfect place to do so. Of course even then they would each take visits to their tanks. If only to check in. Or to have those moments of missing so that when they came back together there would be that sense of fresh wonder. Topanga shivered lightly at her subconscious thoughts. She kissed him back, both tender & playful & hinting at more that would be his once they had succeeded. When they pulled apart she beamed up at him. "You've a light snore, lover. It's relaxing. Adorable... like you."

"Well if it was loud..." and once she said it was light and sweet he smiled, "Oh, well if you do not mind then everything is ok." He smiled knowing he wanted more of what her kiss promised but knowing that they did need to find a place to live. Aki lead the way to the door and held it opened for her. Once she was out he joined her and offered his hand to lead her back to where they came.
Partly back he looked at her, "So... can we be partial mates?" he asked a though just coming to him.

it was hard just leaving after that kiss. Topanga wanted... well what she wanted could wait until after they found a home. She blushed furiously as Aki held the door open for her & she wanted him all the more for it. Of course she put her fin in his hand when he offered. How could she not?
His question floored her. "Partial mates?" She had never heard of such a thing, but it sent a shiver & a glow through her body with delicious delight. Everyone in her family -and she included all the "big creatures" in this- were either mated or single. Or widowed. Topanga pushed that thought hurriedly away, her heart aching already at the hint of a thought of losing Aki. He meant so much to her already...
"How would we be partial mates?" Her tail flicked curiosly behind her, showing her interest in such a thing. She knew that the only thing keeping her from agreeing to be Aki's mate was fear of accidentally hurting him... would this quell that fear?

"well you see," He scratched his head with his free hand, "So There is this cupple in my tank. They love eachother and are just a perfect match all around. They live together and spend a all that stuff... They have this agreement. They are mated in mostly every way, but getting it offical. See they have an open relationship. Meaning they can be with other beta, but not long term. The deal is that he, or she, can have a breeding with another beta, but in the end they will be together. I am sure one day they will bind themselves to eachother." Smile crept on his face as if having a memory of the two. he soon shook he head and, though with out looking directly at her, he did glance over really quick, "they are partial mates" He did not want to rephrase his question. Aki thought that that was enough and if not she would ask more and he would clear things up.
