ManateeMan January- Carnation or Snowdrop February- Violet or Primrose March- Daffodil or Jonquil April- Daisy or Sweet Pea May- Lily of the Valley or Hawthorn June- Rose or Honeysuckle July- Larkspur or Water Lily August- Gladiolas or Poppy----- That's me razz September- Aster or Morning Glory October- Calendula or Cosmos November- Chrysanthemum December- Narcissus or Holly I'm not sure what to do about this list...hmm I could just add the or for all the flowers, but on some months, like feb, I had iris listed, and that is not even one of the flowers given in this list...so would I have to put all three? I don't know @_@

Ok, I have made up the Celtic Zodiac post. If you want to be added to that, let me know. Also let me know if you all think it works the way it is 3nodding
Guess I will add it to the first post, Mahayr, so you could resticky if you'd like (I don't think I can do that yet, can I? )

Oooooooooooo nice!!!
For the flowers... we need to find a comprehensive list.
We could do that for anything else anyonw would like to see. And there is a lot! Hahaha.
I can work on figuring out who is what for the Celtic when I can, which will not be soon. Sad. Sadsadsad (me, that is). kiss

Yeah as far as flowers go there's multiples for each. And in this case wikipedia is no help stressed

Yes and it is the same with birthstones. There are various charts, and after you put them together, you choose the ones that just feel right.
I will work on that, I found some great charts when I was in Canada, and we can incorporate the things we already have - Chinese, Celtic... kanjis.

Well as far as the birthstones are concerned, I'm keeping peridot... mostly because every source I know of says that what the month of August is (and I have a ring)

I think most of the time the mainstream lists are alright, but for a rare few of us... well. Hahaha.

Mahayr Oh and I love perodots... I have a few of those, unpolished. ooo, that would be interesting to see! I'm not a big fan of the color of them, unfortunately (since it's my birthstone). Even, though, as you can see, green is one of my favorite colors. I love opal...I wish that was my birthstone

Opals are my absolute hands down favorite. Colour, fire... and that is why I believe we have some liberties, properly taken, in deciding for ourselves.

I am a bit late arriving to this thread but here goes, it's my birthday tomorrow so I figured I should probably put it in this thread.
Birthdate: March 20th, 1986
So as far as I can tell that makes me a Picean Tiger and an Alder Tree in the Celtic Zodiac
