She had been looking in the news papers for Cloud's name for almost three years. That sounds like the beginning of love to me.

RanmaxHikaru Yeah I remember that Aeris had a pretty bad life and she is very optimistic. It's not her optimism that says "weird" to me, It's her constant bad decision making, especially when the right decision is more then obvious.

fer someone who said that she's all about facts. If Tifa's feelings for Cloud remained nothing but platonic then I would agree with you. However, her feelings soon turned into love later on in the game, so I think it's safe to asume that they were starting to develop sometime after he left. But thats just my opinion. Sure it's not a fact but it seems very likely.

yer totally twistin' shite. Hey I never said that it was ok for Tifa to leave Marleen at the Barr. I'm just sick of hearing it always pined on Tifa and never Berret. Tifa does occasionally mess up. She had been lying to Cloud about his true identity the whole time. Although it was a bad decision I can understand why she did it. She probably didn't want him to get mad or have a nervous breakdown (Even though it happened anyway). Tifa is not infallible; She ******** up once in a while just like everyone else, but she's a hell of a lot more rational then Aeris.

I would say Cloud and Tifa but they aren't together.So it doesn't count them.

aww guys Tifa was distracted by what was going on when she had to leave with barret and cloud.And I think Johnny was there to watch over her.
and there is nothing wrong with the color pink it doesn't mean anything,nore does selling flowers.It doesnt show how old you are.maybe Aerith was selling flowers there because it was
such a "bad" area that flowers would be really rare to see or have.so it would make her alot of money or errr Gil.
And maybe She knew Cloud was coming (far-fetched but still who knows)
And she asked Cloud on a Date because It could have been love at first site for her to Cloud.would you give up a date with Cloud........hmmmmm ?
Or maybe because she can't pay him in money,and Cloud was obviously Looking for something (please I don't mean anything nasty) otherwise he wouldn't have said yes to the offer of the date.

You're arguing about colors a character wears, for goodness-sakes. It doesn't MATTER.
Tifa looks beautiful in what she wears, and she doesn't flaunt herself. I wear things that make me feel comfortable--- I bet Tifa does too, because she's not the type of person who would desire flaunting herself to others. If Tifa happens to look GOOD in what is most comfortable to her, that's not her fault. :/
As for Aeris, she wears pink due to Zack, yes. And there are tons of people who wear bright colors in Midgar--- it means NOTHING. It's just clothing people, and clothing do not make characters WHO they are as a person!
And stop ragging on Tifa for leaving Marlene ALONE at the bar, already. Where else was she supposed to leave her? On the @#$)ing streets? Seventh Heaven WASN'T unsafe. I'm sure others of Tifa's friends came there later on. Since Biggs, Jesse, and Wedge all had passed by then. And guess what, if Barret thought it was really so dangerous, he would've put Marlene somewhere else himself. >_> Seriously. Not to mention Seventh Heaven has that underground compartment Marlene could hide in if she REALLY were in trouble.
