Removing his cape, Byakko's hawk wings were revealed to the light. Feathers of dark and light blues flapped lightly as he rested his wings against his back. "Is that a promise?" He smiled. He liked the idea of his beloved holding him for his life to continue on. He followed after Raelen, and shivered at the chills of the water. "Brr! Cold!" He then laughed shook his head. "Is it always so cold in this lake?"

"Of course it's a promise," Raelen said softly to him, slightly blushing at the thought of how the image came out, with her holding her one and only love in her arms while saving him. She was no heroine, but she knew that if Byakko went under just the littlest bit, she was going to make sure he didn't lose one single breath under the water. "I love you, and that means that I'll do anything to keep you alive," she whispered out softly before lifting her knuckles to her lips while letting out a soft laugh. "Well, it always seems cold when you first get in, but you're body will soon start to warm up the more you move around."

Byakko moved through the water and came to her side, hugging her tightly. "Ah but this is much better. You're a lot warmer then this water is." A chuckle got passed him as he moved away from her try his best to learn how to swim once more. He made his way further out so that the water was now at his chest. "Do you think there are fish swimming around us out here?" He glanced back to her curiously as he slowly began to tread water.

Raelen still found it within her to blush when he hugged her tightly, and she lightly nuzzled at his chest before he moved away to teach himself once more how to swim. She slowly moved up beside him, before lightly moving past him, swimming with an elegant ease. "Oh, I'm sure there are fish curiously watching us right now at this very moment. I doubt they'll get too close, though." The feline quirked an eyebrow curiously and tilted her head to the side. "Why do you ask?"

Byakko looked over her shoulder to the waters behind her. "Because I think I saw a fish over there." He was now swimming over to her, reminded of how to swim once more. "Do you see it?" He pointed with one hand. A distraction if you would. He had a plan. He did his best to not smirk. His blue eyes were twinkling with mischef.

"Ooh! Was it a big one?" Raelen's tail curled and her ears turned as she spun around to look in the direction he was pointing to. She put her hands against her forehead, squinting while trying to peer down into the water. Pouting, her tail twitched. "I...I don't see it." The feline waded a little further into the water, her face inches from the surface of the water as she concentrated on trying to see past the bright reflection of the sun into the water. If there was a fish, he was either very fast, or very smart to escape her eyes.

Byakko swam up quietly behind her and grabbed around her waist, yanking her to him in a tight hold, very quickly. "THERE IT IS!" He chuckled, taking a quick breath, then pulled them both under the water, but not too far under the surface as he still was getting his swimming skills back. It was only a quick dunk and he released her when he had pulled them both back up to the surface. He swam off away from her laughing.

Raelen let out a sharp shriek when she was grabbed and dunked, suprised by it. Coming up against the surface again, she gasped, her ears drooping. Shaking her head, she smiled brightly at him and laughed melodiously before she began to swim after him. "Well that wasn't very fair!" She called out playfully, making sure that she swam slow to keep the playful chase going, but kept close just in case something happened.

Byakko chuckled. "No that wasn't very fair of me was it?" The male then pulled himself under the water, his long light blue hair pulled completely under. He swam deep and came up just behind Raelen, hugging her tightly, and kissing her cheek. "Should I beg for your forgiveness?" He whispered softly to her.

Raelen blinked when he went underwater, and began to panic, dunking her head under the water before she felt the arms around her. Lifting her head back up, she turned and lightly wrapped her arms around him, getting as close as possible while nuzzling his chest softly. "Dont scare me like that," she whispered softly before looking up at him. She lightly kissed his nose and smiled brightly. "I would never have it in my heart to make you beg," she murmured through a soft purr.

Byakko's wings openned to hold them both afloat over the water as he hugged her tightly and rested his chin ontop of her long red lockes. "I'm sorry, dear Raelen." He laughed lightly at her making him beg. "Oh, but I would do anything you wish of me, including beg like a dog if I must." He then kissed her forehead and using his wings, he twirled them both around in the water. "So what kind of games do you like to play in the water?"

Raelen smiled lightly and rested against him for a moment before looking up at him. She wrinkled her nose lightly, cutely, and raised a brow. "Oh, but I would never want you to beg like a dog. I perfer my Knight, the hawk I fell in love with." The feline purred before kissing his chin lightly, glancing around. "Well...when I'm with Jeanny we usually just splash each other. Astaliare and I just lounge near seperate rocks, and when I'm by myself...I like to dive and swim down to the bottom. Chasing the fish is fun."

Byakko looked down at the water. "You actually dive down to the bottom to chase the fish around?" He laughed and in one sweeping motion of his hand, his fingers lifted up her chin to grant him access to stare into her eyes. "Will you show me that game?" He liked the sounds of it but would he be able to hold his breath for so long?

Raelen smiled, blushing softly at the sweeping catch of her chin that caused her to gaze up into his beautiful blue hues. Nodding her head softly, she gently pulled away, moving out towards a rock. She stood ontop of it, and blew him a kiss, before taking in a deep breath. Diving in, she swam to the bottom and chased a fish that swam straight past Byakko. Raelen surfaced beside him and smiled brightly. "If you dive, it's easier to reach the bottom and still have plenty of breath left for the chase. I'll be behind you the whole way." She said softly, in a reassuring tone.

The kiss blown at him made him flush a little as he pretended to catch it and hold it to his heart. His eyes grew wide as he watched her dive in, and he grew worried for a few minutes when she was below the surface. Was this the same concern she had held for him when he had surprised her? When she came up for breath beside him, Byakko looked over to Raelen. "I don't know how to dive." There were few things he really knew about and he had just retrained himself in basics of swimming, let alone something like diving.
