::Hodari stood once more, grinning.:: "Lead the way to this prey. i'm starving myself. After we get something to eat we can explore this place! Who knows what we'll find here." ::How funny... Earlier, he had found himself screaming for help because he was 'lost' in this place... yet now.. With Mizaku around... He wasn't so scared anymore.. He actually felt rather comfortable...::

Mizaku nodded and he pushed through the bushes... but was surpised to find a eland sitting in fornt of him. he jumped backwards in surprise and hissed at it.
"Hey!? How long have you been her?!" he growled, this actually wasn't the prey he was talking about. As he looked at it...it began to seem more dangerous. Mizaku stepped back a few more inches and waited for Oga's answer.

Startled, Oga replied "For a while..I-I'm not really sure..". She stood from the ground trying to intimidate the cubs. She started to paw the ground and snorted. Oga usually didn't act in this manner without actually being threatened but because of what happened yesterday, she was on guard today.

:: Hodari was shocked himself, having not known anyone was near them.. He padded up behind Mizaku, a scowl on his face.:: "Yeah! How long have you been there!" ::He grumbled a little, gazing into the bush to stare at the eland.::

Mizaku's eyes widen, and then narrow again. He mutters something to himself and then steps back more, feeling threatened by the eland.
"...have you seen two female pride-cats around here, long-horn?" the leopard asked, still glaring awkwardly at the eland. He glanced at Hodari and then fized his view on the prey animal.

::Hodari fell silent, standing there with his head lowered a little, eyes still on the creature that had been within the bushes. He let his gaze shift to Mizaku for a moment or so, ears twitching at the word 'pride-cats'...::

"Actually, I haven't really seen anything around. I have been muching on these berries in the bushes here, and just listening to your conversation..really, cubs are some kind of amusing" She chuckled. She wanted to keep her cool for as long as she could. Any minute now, a bigger creature could come and defend these cubs..it was up to her to keep up her brave front.

Mizaku grunted, looking away from the eland and searching the grass lands behind her. His eyes dart back and forth, and then he looked back at Oga.
"Well... we were just looking for something to eat..." Mizaku said, giving the eland a sharp toothed grin. He turned his head to look at Handori, a questioning face set on him.

::Hodari grinned himself, eyes gazing at Mizaku as he nodded, turning back to the eland, pawing at the ground. His stomach was growling a little more than it had been earlier.. Geez... He was so hungry....::

Oga knew they were toying with her. She was prey and they were predators..it clicked in her head. But, they wouldn't get the best of her..nope, not today. She snorted and pretended that the cubs didn't matter to her. She continued to eat the berries.

Mizaku crouched a bit, pacing to the side of the eland. He glared up at her and sniffed the ground a bit before digging his claws into the earth. He smirked, cocking his head to the side.
"...so...guess you don't mind if we hunt then, do ya...we'll try not to bother you...much...." he continued, still smirking. his tail waved slowly against the dirt as he watched Oga.

::Hodari stayed infront of Oga, tail swishing back and forth... Ah.. He was so hungry! But.. He had to be patient.. patience was vital to hunting! He could remember someone telling him that once....::"mm.. Yeah. We won't bother you too much.."

"Ha, you won't bother me, go on with your juvenile hunting". She chuckled and stomped the ground hard with her hoove. She wanted them to see her strength. Again, she continued to eat the berries, keeping one eye on the cubs.

Mizaku laughed at this, it seemed intimidating but he snickered anyway.
"Ooo I'm scared now!" he said sarcastically, backing up as if he was scared. he jumped into a different bush, adn then another, another, and was soon hidden from Oga's view.

Oga looked around and saw that the cub was out of sight. "Hmm..must have wandered off". She thought, shrugging. She didn't think anything of it, but she continued to keep one eye on guard as she laid on the cool ground, resting.
