We have a flea market about 20 minutes away from where I live.. and a section of that is always reserved for animals. In most cases people just sell chickens and rabbits (I didn't realize until rather recently that the reason that there are so many rabbits right along with the chickens is because they, in most cases, meet the same end once they are bought) Lately there have also been people selling some pretty interesting pets. Today there was a woman who has those little bitty turtles.. They were adorable...

The sad thing is, in most cases the animals are pretty sick.. Kittens etc. usually look diseased.. I picked one up today that was so sick it actually had a sick "SMELL" to it. The guy was trying to sell the poor thing for 20 dollars.. All it could do was sit there and shiver... poor little guy..

pedro the chilli shitter! haha just kiddin, his name is Hiro smile he's half siamese and half orange tabby and little poop head but i love my fur baby..no matter how much he loves to dig in the garbage or eat paper towels sweatdrop *edit* he's also a food bandit.. he will launch at a plate of food like he hasnt eatin fer a year... the other morning the jumped on the table and inhaled half of a HUGE pancake...
