We're doing a show entitled Spanish Dances. None of the productions have names. Our band director wrote the first two, and I think he arranged the third. I think that there's a short little time change that lasts one measure. I'm glad that I don't have to do the trumpet solo. It goes up to a double E, and at the end the top first trumpet gets to go up to a double G. Problem is, the oldest trumpet players are sophmores. They now know why their teacher gave them range studies in their private lessons.
The show itself actually sounds pretty cool.

Our school is going to be doing a rather...childish show this year. It's a disney themed show which is incorporating "When You Wish Upon a Star" And "Zipa-dee-doo-dah" . I have no idea what the director is calling it.
All I know is that it will be HELL to make up flag routines to this show. Thank god we got a new and awesome coach.

Were doing Labyrinth By Key Poulan. Hes really good. Last year we did the Planets that he arranged and went to State..... Didnt do to well there unforunatly....

we were going to do incredibles but now that we have a new band director we are either going to do latin patriotic or funk i think it is sad that we don't even know the music we are doing yet sweatdrop

We're doing three different themes, I doubt we actually have a name for it, but maybe my crazy BD can come up with one. He makes the best similies EVER. Anyways, it's going to be Indiana Jones, Far and Away (prolly some movie I've never seen), and E.T. Should be really fun and it's all John Williams...that's all the three pieces have in common...I think that was the point, but we're not going to call it like "John Williams Show" lol. It's going to be awesome.

SongstressYuna08 well last year we did "The Scream" (don't worry it's a painting by Edvard Much, a guy from Europe, if you don't believe me look it up) my band director is into, scary themes, cords that don't do well with others, 4-5 steps across the field both ways, and stuff like that........but he is going to tell us at band camp........which really stinks, cause i wanna know now!!!! So true....... He is suposed to tell us in the letter he is sending us...... Hints for This Year: 4 syllables, begins with an I, Ends in a S, It's not Japanese or English or French..........

We're doing a pretty awesome "Lion King" show this year. Our BD has lots of cool props and stuff planned, and for once the low brass has some pretty awesome parts! ^_^ I'm hoping for a solo...but baritones don't usually get solos. -_-;;

Despite the name "A Beautiful Mind" for our 2005 competition show, our band directors have totally come up with original music. It's not based off the movie, or so we've been told.

My bands doing Star Wars! The colorguard are all gonna look like Stormtroopers and have the blaster rifles. At least we hope they will. Being a poor band sucks....

We are doing a show called "1001 Nights: The Story of Scherazade"
It is a long story but Scherazade is a women who told stories to a king so he would fall in love with her, and not kill her. Some of the Stories of Scherazade where Alladin and Hidalgo
