She felt her eyes getting watery. "That's... That's .. horrible.. I'm so sorry." She stared at the ground for a minute " you could.. come stay at our place if you wanted too..." She bit her lip and kept on looking at the ground "I mean, you don't have to of course... Just if you wanted somewhere to stay... Probably not what you're looking for.." She glanced up at him, wondering if he would say no. Their house wasn't exactaly the best place... And it was sorta small.. But Quinn could stay in the guest bedroom...

He closed his eyes for a moment and shook his head. "I can't." he answered weakly. He knew that, if he did stay with anyone, he would soon make them hate him and kick him out. He couldn't stand that happening again. He stuffed the scrap of paper back in his bag, but got distracted quickly by another piece of paper - a letter to him. He read it quickly after pulling it from his bag, but just as quickly hid it from Mina.

She looked back at the ground. "...Okay." She closed her eyes and sighed softly. Why would he want to stay with someone he doesn't even know that well anyway? She stood up, still looking at the ground. "I.... I'll... I'll see you around..." She bit her lip and walked to the bench she was sitting at before, grabbed her peach and bag and made her way down the garden path, leading to a different section.

Quinn stared after her, mouth open slightly. He'd done it. Again, another person hated him. He was sure of it. How did you manage that one? He asked himself while staring down at the ground. He stared down at the letter that was in his hand, reading it one last time. He couldn't hold it in any longer. He slumped over his bag, crying quietly.

Heather was practicing her ballet in the forgotten corner of the garden, when she heard silent weeping. Heather turned off her ipod. She worried whoever was crying, might question her ballet attire, but she wanted to at least find out who was sad. She saw a guy on the bench in the far end of the garden. He was holding a letter. Break up? Evicted? Didnt get into college? she thought. She went gracefully to the bench, and sat next to him. "Hey...whats wrong?"

Quinn jumped as though Heather had struck him instead of sat down next to him. He whipped the letter from sight, and stared over at her, watery-eyed. Here we go again. Gonna beat your own record? He thought. He tried shaking the negative voice in his head, but it didn't quite work. "D-do you really wanna know?" he asked weakly while struggling not to start crying again.

Heather knew it was bad. Really bad. She suddenley felt a rush of pity for him, and hugged him before she could stop herself. "Im sorry, whatever is wrong...It will be okay."

Quinn's eyes went huge, and he quickly shoved her away from him. "You don't even know what's wrong! What IS wrong can't possibly be okay!" he shouted before he could help himself. He just stared at her after he realized what he'd just done. Hah. Knew it. You DID break your own record!

Heather knew what she just did was wierd, but she just stared at him with a smirk on her face "OKay then, whats wrong? break up? evicted? death? Im sure it is one of those. You wouldnt cry if you didnt have something wrong with you! And, how do you know if I can fix it? a break up? go out with me. Evicted? crash at my place. Death? get counseling. And it just happens that I study phsycology. so there. ha"

Quinn twitched, glaring at her. All that was running through his mind was: How dare she think everything can just be sorted out so easily! "It isn't that easy." he said, his voice thick with anger. "Nothing will help this. Not unless I just, suddenly, get handed millions of dollars and have my mind wiped clean of all memories. Counseling won't help. Believe me." he emphasized the last part, sounding very much like he knew what he was talking about. What are you doing? You're making it WORSE! Just shut up!!

Heather decided to use her job to her advantage. "I can help you. Just tell me what is wrong!" she tried to sound gentle, but convincing. She wanted him to know that she wanted to help him.

Devon held her tightly under the tree, kissing her softy. He remembered he had a gift for her. "My dear, I have a present." He pulled a box of Madelyns favorite Strawberrie candys, and gave it to her. "Its a gift from me and my Uncle." he smiled, remembering their first date.
