Ryo laughs, "You'll eat anything, Danni. I think it comes with the ears."
She shakes her head a bit, but laughs a bit in good humor anyway.

Sage smiles softly, "I only got sick once. Kento just didn't know I was allergic to walnuts. He really is quite good."

Ryo chuckles, "Why do you think we trust your cooking. None of us like to admit we're alergic to something. Sometimes I think Dannin here is the only one not alergic to something."
Dannin shruggs, "Must come with being a few thousand years old."

Yuki was bored. She needed to try something new. They had not seen her yet, and she needed to know if they knew about the new threat yet. The sooner they knew the sooner they would be ready to fight; and whether or not she decided to be on their side, she would want them to have a good chance of defeating the daughter of Talpa and herself. What was the purpose of fighting against them if they couldn't even defeat Tusuki?
With a plan readily forming in her mind, she wrote down in the ancient writing style of her people, "Beware the daughter of Talpa, Tusuki, for she is ready with power and revenge. Prepare for the oncoming tide." With a second's thought, a dagger of ice appeared in her hand, and she folded the message and sandwiched it between the two ends of the dagger. With a quick flick of her wrist, the dagger went flying through Ryo's window and stuck into the wall as Yuki ducked into the building opposing Ryo's. She needed to see their reactions.

"Chiya!!" Dannin yells as something wizzes by her head. It lands with a 'thunk' beside her in the wall. Ryo is up in one step, ripping it from the wall and unfolding the message. Without hesitating, he reads it aloud.
"Tusuki? Talpa's daughter?" he says after he finishes reading it, "I've never heard of her."
Dannin falls deathly silent.

Lena jumped backwards, nearly falling over the couch as she looked at the dagger. Frowning, she glanced at the dagger, then the letter, "I....oh my...." She frowned some more, her mind calculating what was going on, "Why does that sound so familar.....?"
Cye was in shock and surprise, battle ready as the rest of them all were. "What the heck is that....?"

Yuki was greatly amused by the variety of reactions that her dagger and it's note caused. She was happy that they were taking the threat seriously. She noticed that the Daishizen tribe member was thinking thoughtfully about the note she had sent. Her purposes here were complete so she allowed her ice dagger to melt into a puddle on the floor and left the building to do finish the shopping that was on her list. She had just exited the building.

Dannin speaks quietly, the pain and sorrow in her voice obvious.
"Tusuki....Talpa's only child," she says, "when I was taken, it was she that raised me. Granted, I grew up years in just a few days, but my memories were gone and she was my best friend. We fought ronins through the ages countless times together. When Talpa invaded the last time, we were sent as scouts to other countries to find doors, but when Talpa was defeated, we returned to the Neather World. We swore vengance, but when I met up with you guys, I got my memories back and never did go back and tell Tusuki what happened. She was in hiding from Kayura and the others last I heard, in a far desert corner of the Neather World."
