Glass Crow azumi Osso let her take his hand, but for a minute his feet stayed planted on the ground. An unsure expression was written all over his face despite Doll's humerous words of shedding bystanders.
Looking from the crowd, to the floor, and then back to Doll, he just sighed and forced his limbs to move. "Fine..." "That's the spirit!" Doll bubbled, ignorant to Osso's sigh and seeming discomfort.
"Oooh, I see lions. Tigerses...no bearses. Too bad. Oh! And big lizardses...hmmph. I'm rather bored, aren't you?" she asked, holding Osso's hand and walking with him past cage after cage. "What would you like to do, Osso?" Osso just sort of a robot at Doll's side; his limbs moved ottomatically and he didn't exactly register the sights of the animals as he went past them.
"Hmm? Oh," he questioned lightly, snapping out of the little daze he had just been in. "Um...We could go to another tent. This one's sort of getting boring." Hollow gaze drifted up to Doll as he spoke before looking out towards the opening in the tent flaps.

Doll nodded agreeably, still smiling.
"You can pick," she said cheerfully. As she looked down at Osso, something flickered over her face and she looked briefly more mature and sympathetic.
"She will come back," she said comfortingly. Then the flicker was gone, and Doll's face was empty and childlike again. "So! Lead on, Osso."

Osso tilted his head slightly to the side as he looked back up at Doll. Her suddenly more mature and age-fitting personality confused him a little, but he was comforted a bit by her words. He knew she'd come back, but, well...it didn't fully make up for her past actions. At least in his mind it didn't.
Noticing the "old" Doll had sprung back, Osso just nodded and led her past her family and through the tent flaps.
"I'm not the best at picking...so you help think of which tent to go to, okay?" He told Doll, hollow gaze scanning the slightly crowded area.

Looking around through the milling people and trying to pick a tent, Doll made a squeaky noise that indicated she was thinking hard.
"Oh...hummm....mmph..." she said intelligently, pointing at one tent, then the other. "Oh dear...well! I say we just pick one at random and hope whatever's inside doesn't eat us!"
Looking pleased with this decision, she glanced down at Osso for his opinion.
"Or...deary dear...not much to do in all reality, is there?" she added.

"Heh, no, not exactly. I always thought circuses were supposed to be exciting..." Osso replied. There really wasn't much to do. He always though there'd be....circus people milling around and doing weird but intrigueing tricks and stunts. He had yet to see one of those.
"We could also just...Ugh, hmmmmmmm."

Sighing and plunking down onto the grass, Doll motioned for Osso to sit too.
"While we think," she said cheerfully, "maybe we should just stick here. Good ideas come along when you're not thinking of them, you know."

Osso looked down before just flopping onto the grass next to her. Crossing his legs, he rested bow elbows on the sides of his knees, chin cradled in his palms.
"Very true," he agreed, words a little muffled/slurred due to his current mosition.
Watching people pass-bye, guardians and Mishaps alike, he tried to think of some topic to talk about. God, did he fail at conversations.

Sitting content for a few minutes, Doll felt herself suddenly growing bored again. Not sure what to do to occupy herself, she yawned widely and felt a stitch pop in her cheek here and there.
"I'm itchy," she said suddenly, scrunching her nose. Feeling ruefully at the popped stitch in her cheek, Doll coughed once, delicately, and suddenly slumped to the ground as though dead. Something that looked like smoke and retaining the vague shape of a human remained sitting in her place, stretching.
"That's better," the thing said with Doll's voice. "It gets awfully cramped in there sometimes."

Osso just, well, stared in a mix of amazement, awe, and confusion at what just happened. Head moved slightly towards the collapsed shell of what was once Doll to the smokey form that is now Doll.
"You...what...um...?" His gaze was currently on the smokey form, a finger pointed at the ragdoll body.

"What is it?"
The smoky thing looked around, then turned to glance at Osso. It had no face, really - it was flat and featureless. But the voice still conveyed concern, and it could still see the boy though it lacked any obvious eyes. It copied Osso's pointing, then glanced down finally to where he was looking.
"Oh! That," it said, giggling. "It gets itchy and boring in there. So I come out."
Its tone was completely relaxed and seemed to imply as though everyone's souls randomly decided to come out and go for a jaunt on a daily basis.

As Rex carried her through the crowd above everyone else, Tamary felt a bit more like the bird she partly was. Would she ever be so big?
Turning around in Rex's arms, Tamary studied the birds in the cage, her curiosity apparent by the half-raised feathery cone, wavering between rising and falling as she decided if she like them. "I like ze-" the last word came out as a mix between a word and shrill word "colorness." They were indeed, quiet brightly colored, a few a them shaded in warm red colors, the rest in blue and greens.
"So loud, tho. No one to talk to?" She turned the question to Rex, her right pinky finger making it's way into her mouth to chew on; she'd left her toys in the room.

"So... um, are you still...Actually, what exactley are you?" he asked, though quickly added, "not to sound rude or anything. It's just that...yeah..."

Seer For Sale Kay eyed the red candy dubiously, did Green not know what red coloring and sugar did to children? Although... it probably wouldn't make much difference now after the icecream and fairy floss Delphine had already badgered her into buying. She managed to get the wrapper of eventually and offered it to Delphine, the toddler was starting to cry so anything was worth a shot at this point. With a glance at Green, Kay noted it seemed to have worked on Rose afterall. Huh. Delphine eyed the offered treat with some trepidation, she'd seen it come from Green's pocket. Was it some kind of trick? Her eyes flicked to Rose and back to the lolly. Hmm.The seer noticed Delphine's reluctance and spoke up, "If you don't want it Delphi I'll give it to Rose." With those ominous words the fish kitty grabbed at the lollypop and quickly popped it inot her mouth. Huh, she'd like to see Rose get her paws on it now with Delphi germs all over it. The prospect of sucking on two lollies at once was an excellent one and, for a few wonderful moments, Rose's eyes had darted from Kay, to Delphi and then to the sucker that was in Kay's hand.
Then, Delphi devoured the lolly and whatever hopes and dreams Rose had previously had dissapeared.
Ah, well. She still had her lolly. Rose sighed contentedly, wrapped her arms around her mother's neck and continued to stare suspiciously at Delphi. Anybody that told lies about Woo deserved to be supervised carefully."It might be horrible of me," Green whispered to Kay, "but I've recently discovered that sweets are wonderful distractions. Although, I only use them as a last restort."

"You know, I'm not quite sure," it said, sounding cheerful. "Crow's the one that made me, you should probably ask her. Ooh, she was a darling creature when she was smaller!"
It sighed wistfully, and the air around it grew a couple degrees colder as a result. If Doll herself didn't know it, it was obvious to those around her she was of the rather ghostly persuasion.
"Can you imagine, spirit-trapping and body construction at such a young age?" it asked Osso, its tone doting. "She was so clever. Though I did fall apart rather a lot before she decided to use super glue... sewing's not a strong point, I'm afraid."

Osso found himself give a small laugh to the last bit, ignoring the drop in air temperature around him.
"Sewing skills or not, it must've been a big accomplishment for her. I wouldn't even know where to begin," he said. The idea of just sewing something that resembled a person had already given the boy's head a loop, but to have attached a soul to it? Good god. He would've failed miserably.
"How old was she?"
