DiddleFreak61387 @ Kaliera: Nope, most of the clarinetists that i know either are as dumb as a doornail or lack the common sense neccisary to live. hey... xd lol i know one clarinetist who's not exactly the brightest...i know 2 who are very smart. and 2 who are average. and me? i'd like to think i'm pretty smart xD ok back to the topic. i only know of our bassist being sexually active. *shudder* it still disturbs me cus he's a toothpick and his ex-gf was...not. all my crushes have been on band nerds. but i still havent had a bf. i was pretty close to an oboe then y anti-band friend had to get in the way! stare ah well. i guess fate is just waiting for me to get the perfect guy ^^ right now i like this trombonist and i'm not sure if he likes me back...damn shyness xD but i'm also kinda starting to like the trumpeter i used to like a while ago confused

t3h_haNakosamA okay so "random-clarinet-guy" is like obsessed with me or something *shiver* oh and im going out with the afore mentioned bass drum now......its kinda werid like a new pair of flip flops....ooh liz gave us her "blessing" XD congrats, have fun with that one!

Blessed Blade Has anyone really noticed that for the most part you're more likely to get laid as a band nerd than as a football player? It's at least that way at my school (primarily because the football team sucks and the band is 5 in state. xp ) But seriously, who better for a band nerd to have a sexual relationship with than another band nerd? On a serious note, there's a degree of maturity and companionship that band students have that enables that kind of relationship to be productive and active that alot of other social organizations in a school don't have. So to all those who think being a band nerd is damning to your sex life, EAT THIS! blaugh And forgive me if this is a bit mature, but it's true and you know it. mrgreen ok, so how about this: i'm in band and am a football player. think i would have an even better chance? (i'm not in highschool yet so i haven't got laid yet). but i totally agree with you on the most part.

Red_Flame_13 ok, so how about this: i'm in band and am a football player. think i would have an even better chance? (i'm not in highschool yet so i haven't got laid yet). but i totally agree with you on the most part. johnny arnold. trombone and like the best football player! everyone loves him.....but he's a total playa..... oh and then theres sherman......barri sax/freshmen football....awesome guy but like johnny, he hits on EVERY girl...he was hitting on my junior captain during the band trip....at breakfast she was like "you kno a guy named sherman?" and i was like "yeah" and she was like "hes kinda cute..." and i was like "OMG WTF?! HES A FRESHMAN LIKE ME! OMG OMG OMG OMG DID HE DO ANYTHING TO YOU?! IF HE DID HES DEAD!" and the senior captain was choking on a bagel cuz she was laughing..... CJ didnt have much luck (tenor sax, freshmen football)....but he's like track guy now and is quitting band so whatever

[HellWicket] ....Does it count that most of the non-band people at our school think we're a cult and have massive orgies together?...^^; my friend (who happens to be our band director's daughter) and i were thinking about how funny it would be if we actually had a massive band orgie. we'd lock all the parents in the orchestra room down the hall (no doors or windows out and we'd have the only keys) and all of us would be in the big band room with a british reporter lady outside trying to get the cameras in cuz we're "holding the parents hostage" and stuff. ^_^ it makes me laugh just thinking about it! (keep in mind my band's fot about 250 ppl in it ^_^* )

I agree, you always have your cheerleaders and football players which are always the greastest couple, n=but I find band nerd couple more cute. They also always seem to last longer and are more meaningful, they don't date because of a school tradtion, they date because of love, and that way when you do get screwed, it actually means something.

yea, that's tru. there's only one girl in our band that that wouldnt apply too, but there's a few i know that have and it doesnt seem as wrong.
