Ruby used one of the bed posts to pull herself to her feet, the pain was mostly gone from the dose of peace, but she still felt weakened. She stood up, holding onto Aaron's hand, not trusting she had the strength to carry him. She glanced at Kikryu, taking in the strange shiny color of her hair, having an urge to go touch it, just like Aaron. "Why you hidin' over there, hon?"
She glanced at Arch, "you scared her, didn't you, sug."
She turned her head once more, to glance at Anc, "An' what're you doin' in my room, Titan?"

"Ah kicked a shoe at 'er head to wake her up, then I mighta yelled a spot." Arch shrugged. "Fer the lohve oh iht ahl, she were sleepin' in yehr bed aftah breakihn ihn!"

Forming a slight pout, Kikryu glanced at Ruby, tentively scooting towards them on the other sie of the bed. "In defense, I didn't really break in, because nothing was locked." She says glaring over at Arch.

Ruby nodded, "My Angel does have a point, hon, you prob'lly coulda done better usin' the front door." Ruby sighed, feeling too tired to be catty, and without fear of losing Arch's attentions, she wasn't needing to be hostile. "But we ain't gonna hurt you any, or turn you out cold, sugar, so no need to worry. So what's your name, Ms. Tinsel?" she spoke in reference to the silver color of her hair.
Aaron tried to move forward to greet Ru, but Ruby held him back. He pouted some, but when that didn't get him anywhere he turned to Arch's direction instead. Glancing him up and down, still deciding what to make of him.
He peeked once at Anc with a distinct glare, but hid back behind Ruby's leg.

Kikryu sighed, wrapping her midnight black wings around her small frame as a small comfort she desperately needed. "I could have used the front door...I'm sorry Ms." She says softly her attentions only focused on Ruby now and the little boy with her. "My names Kikryu."

"wings?" Ruby blinked a few times, "you've got wings? Arch, she's got wings, why didn't you tell me she has wings?"
Aaron's eyes turned to the wings too. Ruby cursed, grabbing ahold of the kid's collar before he took off to grab the feathers, "No, sweetie, those aren't birdies, we don't run after people."

Ruby smiled, "darlin' you'll be mindin' once he starts tryin' to pull, trust me, it's better to not for the time bein'. Not until we can get him accustomed to the rules of people's feathers." She gave Arch a side glance, "headache, sug?"

Ruby's smile withered for a brief second. She turned back to Kikryu, with a modeled smile, putting it on like a second skin. "Come with me'n Aaron an' I'll show you to the kitchen. You can help yourself." Ruby motioned for Kikryu to follow her with the hand not holding onto Aaron's collar.

(bah, I have no patience)
Ruby went down stairs, taking the steps slowly, while the little pulled at her hand to run the full length. She sighed, pressing herself faster for the last few steps.
"So're you an angel?" She asked Kikryu. She turned to the left hallway, heading to the kitchen. As she walked in she motioned to the large metal fridge, twice the size of a regular household refridgerator. "I'd make you somethin' but I haven't got the energy for it, an I'm feelin' a faint bit queazy myself. So go on an' help yourself to what's in there, or in the cupboards."
She sat down on a stool by the counter, and sighed as she caught sight of a calendar on the wall, she still had to prepare for that party. One shot and it'd be all fine. She could fix up the party, charm one of the six, get the needed information, and then she could go clean from there, no worries. Ruby closed her eyes, trying to fight a losing battle.
She glanced up at Kikryu, "Could you watch him for a moment," She nodded towards Aaron, "I'll be right back. I don't even know where that blasted Nanny ran off to," she used her perfect, well-rehearsed laugh, and snuck towards the walkway.
