He'd be damned then. Another Rogo, one operating a net turned and shot him with a net, and the other's let go. There wasn't enough time to get away, he was still on the ground.

Ryo had stood in awe, watching his friend go into a mad frenzy. That...could be dangerous. He almost didn't strike the net coming at him from the side. Another second and he would've been caught. He sliced a few more up, before one almost got him from above. He did a strong upward swipe, and the net fell down around him in two. More nets were coming from above, and he didn't give a damn anymore. Being pivated to one spot was not his kind of thing. He rushed over to one of the spots firing nets, cutting nets up as he went along, and started attacking the Rogos there.

Although Hikaro had fallen prey to a beserker rage, he had not lost all trace of intelligence. Holding still that he did not become hopelessly entangled, and laying flat to the floor, Hikaro used the confusion to navigate his way free of the entangling threads, eventually surfacing, for the most part, unhurt.

That RubboRogo had fired his last net. Hikaro lunged, hands extended like an eagle's talons and latched onto the netgun, ripping it free of the Rogo'a hands. Hikaro was swift, his actions calculated, not at all like his normal plan of attack. The machinery he held was heavy, well made, and solid.
"Give that back!" The Rogo shouted, teeth clenched. Hikaro smiled maliciously,
"Alright."

The glowing Hououza swung it right back into the Rogo he'd taken it from, laughing callously as it collided with the Rogo's midsection with the force of a battering ram, crunching into his sternum and launching the Rogo into the alleyway.

"My gods, we should never have come here!" Someone to his left shouted. It was one of the ones who had harrased them as teenagers, when Raven was still a child. Narrowed red eyes focused on him, and only him. There was no escape. Launching himself into the Rogo, Hikaro and the thug rolled along the ground, Hikaro emerging on top. Flapping his long wings, Hikaro launched the two of them airborne, lifting the hefty Rogo with some exertion. Spinning, Hikaro folded his wings, sending the two of them into a dive. The Rogo's screaming filled his ears as he rocketed them to the ground. Moments before collision, Hikaro thrust the thug away from him, listening to him impact with a solid thud as he drifted to the ground, whirling on others.

A resounding Twang! Echoed into the air and the light went out. Hikaro's eyes went wide, the red filtering out to a frightened yellow. A Rogo had approached hm from behind and hit him in the back of his head with a pipe. Shocked out of his fit for moments, Hikaro was treated to a moment of pure fear before the impact caused him to lose conciousness, and the Hououza slipped limply to the ground, blood seeping down his neck.

Still, The Rogos were badly shaken, and would be much easier to defeat. (Hint hint XD)

Ryo had been trained how to fight when he was hopelessly outnumbered. He hoped that that TWANG! had not been Hikaro, but he couldn't stop now, he was surrounded. At least he could stop the nets. As he sliced a net in two, he sped up and hit a net launcher, cutting it in half before it exploded in the Rogo's hands, knocking him to the ground, hands and face severly burned. Ryo turned and slashed backwards, hitting two Rogos and killing them. Blood seeped onto their suits, but Ryo was too worried about helping his friends. He dashed across the ground, hitting a few more Rogos with his blade, as he ran to Hikaro.

Takato had looked for a source of water, when he noticed there was a pipeline running across the ground, by the building. This gave him a big advantage, as created enough water pressure for it to bust the pipe. The Nymph smiled, and started slinging large amounts of it at the Rogos, knocking them into buildings or the ground. Any that came to close got hit with a boomerang.

Natu charged at another place where nets were swarming from. He spun his staff to keep himself from getting caught, as he ran over to them. It was leaving Pyre, against Ryo's orders, but he had to do it, striking down the guarding Rogos, and hitting the ones shooting, before he had a chance to be hit. But one of the nets further back shot out and hit him before he had a chance to recover from taking out the second one. He spun backwards, before slowing to a stop. His wings weren't all that tangled, nor were his feet, but the amounts of Rogos running to grab the net and run were bad enough.

Haku had been using knowledge as power. The blue and green hououza was thwacking Rogos left and right with a massive textbook, sorry for the dents their heads left in the cover. The intense light that had radiated from Hikaro suprised Haku, who had not known his sibling posessed such powers, and as far as he could tell, Haku himself held no such stregnth.

Cerulean eyes spotted Natu getting entangled and Haku launched off to help, flinging the book at the Rogo who had shot the net. It hit him with a solid whump spine first, knocking The rogo down into the wall behind him. Haku ran up beside Natu and struggled with the ropes, quickly freeing the small Hououza. It was fortunate, such entanglement was much harder to free from Ryo, Hikaro or himself. Solid arms wrapped around him from behind, and Haku gasped. A Rogo was bearhugging him from behind. Frightened, Haku stretched out his long wings, much like a spring releasing, forcing the Rogo off of himself.

"I wish Teak were here." Haku muttered, recalling the tall rabbit who thrashed such punks for practice. Lo, Teak was probably still at the shop, of all the times to be off duty!

Slowly, the Hououza were taking down the ones with netguns, three of them already taken out of comission. Haku was at a loss- should they run, stay and try to take out the rest of the Rogos? A RubbaRogo grabbed at his bag and Haku spun, landing a solid kick into the man's crotch. The Rogo went crosseyed and doubled over in pain, where it was just a simple whack with another large book to end his suffering, at least temporarily.

Natu stood up, nodded a thanks to Haku, and re-extended his staff. He charged at another group of Rogos. There were only a couple of net guns left, two, as far as Natu counted. He hit down a few more Rogos, then charged at the remaining net guns.

Ryo sliced down a person at a net gun just before narrowly missing a net himself. He stood in front of Hikaro, waiting for a Rogo to try to grab him. A few were stupid enough to try it, but the others noted his sword and the fierce look in his eye. The few stupid ones were struck down with a quick lunging cross slash, while the rest back away.

Pyre's 'aura' of flames suddenly EXPLODED, sending masses of burning air simply flying. Everywhere.

Yes, including the buildings. The flaming-Hououza growled, having not needed the unessecary protection, as her own body was a sheild and weapon against most anything that could be tossed at her.

Literally.

Raven hissed at all the flames and tucked his wings back against himself, not wishing for his feathers to be set aflame by the fire-happy girl who was currently setting anything and everything flammable alight.

".. Ho-shi."

Takato quickly created small water barriers around each of the other Hououzas as a protection from Pyre's flame. But this also protected any RubbaRogos that were behind any of the Hououzas.

Haku mearly had to turn around and push the unsuspecting Rogo into the oncoming flames before the thug lit up like a blowtorch- anguished howl cut short as his charred vocal cords dried and burned away. Hm, Haku had vicariously killed someone. That would be an interesting thing to explain.

Hikaro still lay on the cement ground, blood pooling underneath his head, spreading like red ink around him.

"TAKATO! GET OVER HERE AND HELP!"
Ryo had remembered something Riddle had said about Takato having the ability to heal. Takato seemed a little confused as he ran over to Ryo.
"What?"
"I know it's your first time trying this, but you have to try, I don't think I can make it back to Riddle in time, and I'm out of the proper healing items. Could you try healing Hikaro."
Takato nodded, a glint of confusion in his eyes. He was very confused on how this worked, he'd never tried it, as Ryo said, but he had to try. He lifted a small amount of water, purified it, and tried to lower it on Hikaro's neck. But that didn't work, nothing really happened, besides that Takato had stopped some of the blood pouring out. This time he tried it again, but he wrapped it in orbs around his hands. He thought about healing, medicine, curing. As he did, his hands glowed white. Takato decided this was how he did it, a lot like Riddle. He placed both the orbs on Hikaro's neck and started rubbing them over the wound.

Raven hissed, shaking the 'set up' sheild away from himself, before growling in the general direction of he who'd put it there without his consent- It was not the exact thing he wanted, someone else's assistance.

He was more then glad to give Haku assistance though, as beating people's skulls in was a hobby that more then one person could happily participate in. Grabbing one of the Rubba Rogo's by the neck, he smashed him backwards into the side of one of the buildings, his eyes glowing slightly from rage- pure, upsetted rage, before turning his attention to another, before even checking to see if the first was down.

Pyre watched her brother's bipolar syndrome suddenly kick in and go nuts. The orange-haired girl whimpered slightly, before shuffling her feet and running to throw herself into the mass-murdering that was probably going to ensue.

It took a while, but eventually Hikaro groaned quietly, his wings quivering slightly. The blow to the back of his head sealed up, and the bleeding stopped, but he had one nasty headache, and little reccolection of what had just happened. Hikaro's mind was a whirl of pain and confusion, why he woke up face down in an alleyway, his face mashed into gravel and blood, why his wings hurt so damned much, how in the heck had he managed this, and why was it so hot?

The yellow Hououza sat back on his knees, coagulating blood dripping from the right side of his face, one eye closed from where he had crashed into the ground, a purpling bruise forming around his eyebrow. Feathers were scattered about him, a tribute to his sacrifice, some of them made into quill pens by virtue of the blood coating the tip.

Hikaro reached up and awkwardly tried to wipe the blood away with the sleeve of his shirt, clearing it away for the most part. Hika turned to Takato, yellow eyes a mix of hurt and wonder. The water hououza's hands were still slightly aglow with white energy. He recognized the energy from Riddle's own hands when he had been healed once before.
"Thank you." He said, placing one hand on a wall and struggling to stand. His skin was pale, and his eyebrows furrowed from exertion, though it gave him the expression of being very, very angry. A Rogo ran up to him, but on the look on his face, recalling the fate of his comrades, spun on heel and fled into the night, never once looking back.

There were about 5 Rogos left. Pyre had burned a lot of them to the ground. Ryo drew his blade again and slashed another approaching one. Then he turned to Hikaro.
"You gonna be alright? That blow was pretty nasty."
Takato threw his boomerang and hit another in the head, knocking him out.

Haku had incapacitated another one, after retrieving his other book, wincing at the damage done to the cover of his book. It didn't matter he just broke someone's nose. Darwin was crying for what was done to his book! Haku cradled the infant...uh...text and kicked a Rogo who approached him.

Hikaro opened his eyes to see another Rogo fall to the ground, incinerated by Pyre to a shaking mass of charred flesh. How many were left? Looking around, Hikaro spotted one lone thug remaining. A sharp pain radiated from the back of his head, spearing his eyes. He shut them tightly and covered them with his hand, gritting his teeth.
"Where are we?" Hikaro asked, trying to block out as much light and noise as possible.

Spin around a couple of times.. aaannnnddd..

THUD.

Pyre was OUT like a light from over-exertion.

Raven had downed about 4-5 himself in a mad fit, before leering at the others who were still standing.

Rrrrr...

"You bastards hurt my friends...." he growled, his voice doubling over, as if two people were speaking.

Ryo looked at the last remaining. But then he looked back at Hikaro.
"We're in an alleyway in the outskirts of the City of Arkage."
Ryo turned again, and struck down the last one. They were safe...hopefully.
