hehe the deaf tree joke is a joke that's done entirely in asl (american sign language). and the first time i saw mandi do this joke was when she was still quiet ~_^ when you sign, facial expressions and body language are everything. so she was making exaggerated faces and was getting into it, and it was the first time mandi was like 'woo i'm out of my shell!!' so it made me giggle w/ glee. and still does to this day even if no one else gets it.
