"so. I can..." Maggie thought for a moment. "well, i guess i can't do anything special." she glanced around. "Sapphire, where did your friend Isis go?"

Sapphire looked around and saw that she was gone. "That little booger! You wait here", he said to Maggie before stomping off to find Isis. "Isis!", he shouted.

Maggie nodded lightly. She hoped nothing was wrong. She remebered watching the Isis and Sapphire talk and how she had felt like leaving. She blinked. Her eyes widdened with a sudden thought. Oh how she hoped she was wrong.

Isis heard Sapphire, but pretended not to. She twitched her shoulders to remove a fly, and went back to watching the newly-grown adolescents prancing around. She smiled at them.

You looked like you two were having a good conversation, and I didn't want to interupt. And I didn't leave. I just relocated somewhere else on the herd grounds, that's all. She didn't quite feel like talking to him right now, especially after what she'd just heard.

You didn't do anything Sapphire. Honestly. She smiled at him. I'm sure Maggie is wondering where you are. You might want to go back to her. She not familiar with these grounds, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to her.

Isis sighed internally. You know, you're not being fair to Maggie. She's not used to these herd grounds, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to her. My father would never forgive me if a visiting horse, especially one of my friends friends', got hurt.
