[damn it! Now I gettta jump in front of a danger xD I hope when you say 'threw the dagger' you mean in an intention to hurt her... cuz that's how i'm interpreting it ^.^]
Koichi watched as the boy stood up, his narrowed eyes and the way he stood making him seem like some cayote in the woods. He didn't react to the dagger at first, but as the boy turned and started to retreat, he quickly jumped in front of her. He placed a hand on one of hers, as though signalling that it was alright as the tip of the daggers blade lodged itself into his right shoulder; he didn't acknowledge it, though, as he waited to see that Kana was alright.
[that was a bad post sweatdrop ]

[Yep! That's right. >.>]
Kana jumped in alarm, feeling someone touch her hand, but Koichi's scent soon registered and she knew it was him. She opened her eyes slowly, tears still running down her face as she looked up at him. At first she didn't realize what he was doing, but then the scent of blood came to her as well. Her eyes widened in alarm as she realized it was his as well, and not just that of the wolf demon. "K-Koichi!" she cried anxiously, her voice still shaky. "Are you al-alright?" The male hadn't even looked back, knowing he was beaten and just assuming the dagger had hit Kana. Though, if he knew it'd hit Koichi, he probably would have returned, but luckily he didn't. He most likely had ran all the way back home.

Koichi just chuckled hoarsly, nodding his head. "I'm already, Kitty. The question is, are you?" he said, his voice full of concern as he rubbed away a few tears with his thumb. He didn't remove the dagger yet, figuring if he did it'd worry Kana even more; she might start getting ideas and get sick from worrying. He didn't know what else to say to her, so he didn't say anything else; that, and he wasn't sure if he could trust his voice not to faulter.

Kana stared at him for a moment, her eyes still very wide, but they shut tightly when he rubbed some of her tears away. "I-I'm sorry..." she stammered quietly, her voice just a whisper once more. Her ears were flattened back and her tail tightly wrapped around her waist. She brought her hands up to cover her face a moment after. "I'm sorry..." She couldn't believe what had just happened. How had she let him so easily sneak up on her? Stupid trees, stupid trees! she thought angrily, blaming the strong scent for dulling her senses. And then Koichi'd been injured for it. She was scared to look and see how bad it was.

Koichi hesitated for a moment, watching her shut her eyes, listening to her repeatedly say she was sorry, before moving his hand down her arm and wrapping it around the back of her neck, pulling her close to him. "You dummy. Stop saying sorry. It's not your fault, so there's nothing to appologize for," he said, his voice cracking every now and then as he tried his best to console her; he could tell this was definitely not the best time to start asking questions. If he had to, he knew, he'd wait till they got back from visiting her mother.

Kana's face flushed red again as she felt herself pulled to him, and she felt her ears droop as well. "I'm sorr-" She quickly cut herself off, about to apologize again for her constant apologizing, and bit her tongue instead. For a long while she was silent, just clutching lightly at the front of his shirt, her face burried against him. She didn't know what to say or do, until the scent of blood brought her back to her senses. He still hadn't done anything about his injury, and she still didn't know what had caused it! She jerked her head back, staring up at him with eyes widened once more. "Y-you're the dummy!" she cried. "Are you ok?!"

[i just realized i wrote already rather than alright before]
Koichi just smiled weakly at her. "I said I was fine, didn't I?" he inquiered, as though asking her to remember what he'd said before. "But indeed, I must admit that I am a dummy," he grinned, hoping to lighten the aptmoshere around them. He removed a hand from behind her and instead placed it gently on her head as he always did, somehow grinning to her through the pain ebbing at his shoulder. Don't touch it, don't touch it, don't touch it, he thought to himself, not wanting to attract attention to the blade and cause more worry; and more pain, for that matter.

[xD That's ok. =B]
Kana stared at him, frowning slightly as she studied his face. Her ears tilted slightly towards him, raising just a bit from their drooping position in order to do so. "You did, but..." she trailed off, still watching him as she began nervously chewing at her lip. She didn't really believe him. Something had happened, and he was injured. She could smell the blood still steadily leaking out. "Then let me see," she said suddenly, though her voice was still small and slightly shaking. "If it's fine then you won't mind." She blinked at him, waiting for a response.

Joseph grinned back at Wisp, waving a hand and chuckling a little to himself. "Of course," he said matter of factly. "I would never knowingly do anything to harm a lady." He looked briefly in Seira's direction at this, smiling and nodding over at her before turning his attention back to the android. "I suppose this means I won't be collecting my kiss, though," he tacked on sadly as a bit of an afterthought, folding his arms and shaking his head.
Rachel intently listened to Wisp's explanation of why Seira had closed herself off to people, also nodding at this while casting a sidelong glance toward the girl. "Ah... so that's what it was," she said. "I thought something was probably up. I mean, Joey's stupid and all, but he usually doesn't get reactions like that out of girls, even when he's acting corny like that." She jerked a thumb back at her older brother, wrinkling her nose.
"Yes, well, anyway..." Joseph butted in, trying to turn the topic of conversation back to himself once more. "I believe the young lady asked for introductions. It would be rude to refuse her request." Standing up and running a hand through his hair, Joseph placed a hand over his heart, bowing politely. "I'm Joseph Robertson, and this," he said, sweeping his hand out to indicate Rachel, "is my sister Rachel." Rachel simply nodded at Seira, giving a short wave.

Koichi blinked a few times, leaning away from her slightly, in confushion and suprise. "See? See what?" he questioned, not sure what she ment. "Do you want me to hang upside down from the tree?" he grinned, knowing she ment to show he was fine; he didn't know in which way though. He let a small smirk curl his lips as he looked at her, finding something to say that would more than likely make her become flustered and blow things out of proportion. "Or would you rather have me take off my shirt and show you?" he said calmly, sounding somewhat mischivous as he joked with Kana.
[i couldn't help it ^.^;; and I spelled mischivous wrong, I know it xP]

Kana stared at him silently, waitng for him to turn around so she could see his injury. She already assumed it wasn't anywhere on his front since she couldn't see any blood seeping through his clothes, so it must've been on his back somewhere. She tilted her head in confusion now as he mentioned hanging from a tree, but didn't reply. Though, as his next comment her eyes widened again and her already somewhat red face flushed even darker. "Wh-what? No! What are you talking about?" she cried, much more loudly than needed, and then quickly looked away, staring off at nothing in particular.

Koichi just chuckled as he attempted to look over his shoulder, but couldn't see anything. "If you say so," he shrugged, assuming she might have wanted him to do so to check; although, he knew she wouldn't admit it. Either way, he kept his shirt on reluctantly as he turned around, not able to see his back side and any wounds that might be on it. He started fiddling with a blade or two of grass as he waited to hear what Kana had to say; maybe she'd yell at him -which would be a first- and pound her fists on his back which would cause him to laugh.

[It hit his shoulder, right? xD]
Kana looked back at him slowly, a pouty frown upon her face, as she watched him turning around. By the time his back was facing her, her eyes were widened beyond proportion. "You... You really are the dummy!" she shouted suddenly. There was a dagger actually sticking out of his back! She bit down on her lip hard, nearly drawing blood. This was too similiar to home. This was just a repeat of something that had happened with Karin at one point. Well, at least the end result was. "You're not ok! Why are you lying?" She started crying again before she could help it, and slowly reached forward, but then stopped again. She'd been about to pull it out for him, but wasn't sure if she should or not.

Karin continued forward, gazing around for a moment at all the people there and then tilting her head slightly. Her hair fell over her right eye, but again she didn't bother moving it. It didn't matter much anyway. Seeing all the people eating the food they'd made and brought themselves made her almost wish she had brought some herself. Though, she'd never had a chance to and she didn't know what Suka liked anyway. She loved the scent of the cherry trees that was hovering in the air though, and watched a few petals drift by and closed her eyes just for a moment. Glancing over her shoulder towards him, she watched him for a second and then nodded her head. "Do you want to play a game first?" she asked, pointing her hand in the direction of the booths.

Koichi looked over his shoulder, watching some more tears fall down her face; this was the reason he didn't want to show her the dagger, and didn't want to pull it out since she'd see him doing so. He puffed out a cheek for a moment, contemplating what to do or at least what to tell her, when an idea came to his head. "I'm a dummy for loving someone?" he said softly, watching her for a moment. He turned himself back around before swiftly placing a hand behind her neck, pulling her to him and pressing his lips firmly against hers, his eyes closed; she wouldn't smack him for this, would she? He'd done it before, but... all the same, she wouldn't, right?
