*Climed over the rail, soping wet and tosed down a bag blueging with coins. Winced and limped over away from the rail, leaving the bag where it was. Snaped of part of an arrow shaft, then pushed it through the rest of the way, my breath catching from the pain. Stubbornly pushed away the blackspots and tightly tied a rag around my leg to stop the flow of blood.*

Kibo walks up to Storm, and smiles.
Kibo: Are you okay? Maybe you should get those wounds attended to. Ralcheck is a great doctor.

*Waved him absently way and throw down the conents in a small flask with a grimince. Sighed in relife and sat back, closeing my eyes.* "I'm fine, really. Just a lucky arrow shot got me on my way back. I got some things though." *Flicked a finger at the tabg and mutttered a comanda word. It floated silently over and hovared paitontaly.*

Kibo nods, and begins to walk away. He strides upto the bow, and turns around, facing his crew.
Kibo: Everyone! I'm going back ashore!
He points to the sun, directly overhead.
Kibo: If I'm not back by the time the sun dips below the horizon, leave me. I have some unfinished business to do ashore. Nobody follow me. Please.
With that, Kibo jumps into one of the sideboats, and rows back towards the island.

*Waited a few minuets for him to gain some distance then noded at a trio of spirts. They imeaditly faded away from visiblty hendived into the water, after him. The captain said for no one to follow him, but that didn't mean we could let him walk into a trap alone.*

Gwendolyn did not pay attention at all for the rest of the day. Not even when Kibo announced he was going ashore or when Storm jumped in after him. It was almost sunset. Gwendolyn leaned on the rail. She suddenly felt a jolt in her stomach. It was time. She climbed onto the rail making sure that no one was watching. She whispered to Kibo though he was probably far away, 'Don't look for me.' She then dove straight down towards the water. As she was about to hit the water she sprouted wings and flew off towards the setting sun.

Kibo walks up the shore, down the street that had become too familiar to him. As he walks through the town, windows open, and women's heads pop out, their faces filled with a mixture of confusion and anger. Kibo reaches the town square, and turns around, facing the small group of women. His face is downcast as one of the women seperate from the group. She walks up to him, and without saying a word, slaps him across the face, quickly retreating to the safety of the group. Still, Kibo does nothing. After several minutes, he looks up, and quietly says...
Kibo: I'm sorry...
The women are taken aback by the sincerety of the words. Kibo quietly gets up, and walks into a nearby house, returning with a shovel. He slowly starts to dig. He continues shoveling dirt out of the ground, until several holes present.
Kibo: Please, allow me to assist ye in burying yer husbands. It's the least I could do to prove me sorrow.
Kibo walks through the group, and picks up a nearby man, slinging him over his shoulder, and carrying him to the first hole, slowly, respectfully, lowering him into the ground. He continues, until each and every one of the men are in individual holes, and begins to bury them. After his job was finished, he looked back at the women, who still hadn't moved, and smiled as he unsheathed his blades. The women started to step back, unsure of what he was about to do.
Kibo: I can't bring back the dead... yet. But until then, I can at least do this.
Kibo crosses the blades, and several spirits appear. The women scream at the appearance of the translucent men. However, as they begin to recognize the forms of their husbands, some begin to cry, others to scream again, and still more to run to the spirits, embracing them.
Kibo: I will return as soon as I can. Until then, please be satisfied with this. It's the best I can do for now, until I learn to actually raise the dead. Once again, I'm sorry.
He begins to walks away. As his feet first hit the sand, a shot rings out. Kibo barely stops. His mind is elsewhere. He gets back in the boat, blood running freely from his shoulder, dying his shirt dark red. He slowly grabs the oars, and pushes it into the water, slowly paddling back to the ship.

GWendolyn still soared above the endless ocean. The setting sun made her wings appear blood red. She felt her sister's presence with her and she was glad that she was at least not alone. By now, there was no telling how far away she was from the ship. She wondered what Kibo was doing right now and she hoped that he wasn't he wasn't doing anything that might endanger his life. She had half a mind to go back but there was no turning back now.

Kibo slowly rows the boat upto the side of the ship. His thoughts had returned, but unfortunately, so had the pain. He managed to climb one of the large ropes with one arm, his other dangling limply from his shoulder, making the water below spotted with red. He climbs onto the ship, and staggers, feeling light headed from the loss of blood.
Kibo: Ralcheck! Come here!
Ralcheck runs over, and immediately grabs some bandages he was carrying, wrapping Kibo's shoulder in white gauze. He steps back, checking for any signs of infection, then, satisfied, walks away, back belowdecks. Kibo remains where he is, truly smiling for what felt like the first time in ages.

Kibo remains smiling, and looks up at Storm. A mysterious emotion fills Kibo, one that he hadn't felt for many years. He quickly averts his gaze, looking up at the sails.
Kibo: Don't let my shoulder worry you, Storm. It's nothing serious. Now, let's go. I think we're finished here.
Kibo runs up to the wheel, and grabs it with both hands, slightly wincing from the pain in his shoulder. He shrugs it off, however, and straightens it.
Kibo: We're setting sail! Storm and Mary, raise the anch... wait, where's Mary? Barret! Find her!
Barret runs belowdecks. Several minutes later, he reemerges from the bowels of the ship, shrugging.
Kibo: Oy...
Kibo grabs his blades, unsheathes them, and puts them into opposite scabbards, causing translucent wings to sprout from Kibo's back. He flies straight up, far above the tip of the mast, and spins in a circle, looking. He finally comes to a stop, and points out towards a barely visible, but still there, figure, of whatappeared to be a large bird.
Kibo: Barret! Throw me my spyglass!
Barret grabs the spyglass in one hand, and climbs the rope ladder to the crow's nest with the other. He then jumps straight up, and throws the spyglass, which lands right in Kibo's hand. Kibo swings the spyglass in a small arc with his wrist, extending it. He holds it upto his eye, and looks at the shape on the horizon. After several seconds, he collapses the spyglass, and drops it, letting it fall towards the deck, right into Barret's hands.
Kibo: Wait one minute.
Kibo pulls his feet behind him, and swiftly flies towards the winged shape on the horizon.

It was nightitme now. The moon gave Gwendolyn light for the rest of her journey until dawn. There was no land for her to stop and rest on. She just had to keep going. But by now she had gotten used to the feel of her wings. And she could control them now. Then heard a voice as if in her head. Are you tired? Not a bit. I could go like this forever. Yes, that would be nice. But, unfortunately, these wings will take away 10 years of your life. That's alright, sister. That means I'll be with you sooner. There was silence for a long while. Suddenly Mary spoke. Someone's coming. We mustn't let him find you. Quick, follow me. Gwendolyn felt something take her hand and before she knew they were going faster than sound itself.

"As you wish. But eat these. It'll help with the pain." *Handed him a few small star shaped leaves.*

Kibo flies full speed towards the winged object. Just as the form is becoming clearer, it disappears, leaving Kibo floating above the water, alone. He sighs, and looks down, at the water.
Kibo: Goodbye, Gwen.
Kibo slowly flies back to the ship. Upon landing, he walks upto the wheel, without saying a word. The spirits raise the anchors, and Kibo quietly steers the ship out, towards the open ocean.
