Kumizu walked over to the far side of the labs and rummaged through random cupboards. He found what looked like a turkey baster ((not sure of the scientific name)), as well as a couple of bottles with other liquids. They were marked as something not to use unless of an emergency, but that didn't really stop him. It was an emergency... kind of.
The first bottle in his hand was marked with a 'Y', and the other three were marked with 'Y-i', 'Y-a', and 'Y-t'. Kumizu pulled out four more containers, from his box and from a shelf under the table, and poured some of the contents from each bottle into it's respective container. He marked the containers with the same letters, then put the bottles to the side. With those four, plus the original two he had, he was finally ready to do some tests.
Kumizu found yet another empty container and poured a small part of the liquid from the D-shaped container into it. He played around with the other four containers, and finally added some of the water from his body. Each time, the container bubbled so badly he had to dump it into a nearby sink and clean it before restarting.
Finally, after a countless number of trials and errors, the experiment didn't overflow. It bubbled a bit, but quickly stopped and returned to its normal, clear state. Kumizu saw this as a success, and was overjoyed that after this long, he'd accomplished what he set out to do. He quickly put away the bottles and stashed his containers into the brown box. After sealing it and putting it away, Kumizu started to walk out of the labs when he noticed Keila. "Keila? Hey! What are you up to?" He walked over to her and noticed a pot over a fire, with a bunch of stones inside.

Jumping up from the shock of anyone else being in she turned to see Kumizu."Hey Kumi!"Smiling she looked at her pot.The stones were slightly melted but were still to hard o use.Opening the bag of pearls she dumped a few in and watched them melt into the jewels. After hearing Kumizu ask what she was doing she figured she would have to explain."Well..Im melting the stones and black pearls so I can put them with the melted silver then make a chain..the chain is for a pendent that Im making for Eri.She has emotion powers but is having problems controling them.So I thought I would make her something to help her...but dont tell Eri! Its suppose to be a surprise...kinda a real early birthday present."Flipping the large book open she started to follow the instruction. She found a small stirring tool and sarted to mix the half melted items together.

"Stones have a high melting point... how hot is this set at?" Kumizu had never actually seen jewels melt, so he had to admit, he was curious. He looked into the pot while the pearls started to melt. "Don't worry, I won't say anything to her.... What kind of stones are you using, by the way? And is that some kind of instructions book?" Kumizu realized he was probably just acting annoying by all the questions and shut up. It had been awhile since he had sounded this naïve... and if anyone asked, it still would have been. "I'm sorry, I'm bothering you. Is there anything I can do to help?"

"I dont know...my mother called them mood jewels. She found them in a small crove and she said that tthey helped her with her mood..ya know making sure she didn't go balistic over little thing.Every day she would go back to the crove and there would be more...strange huh?"Keilantra kneeled down and turned the heat up slightly. It now was at 124 for degrees. She tilted her head a Kumizu wondering wha he was doing in the labs."So what are you doing here?"

"That's interesting." Mood jewels? Kumizu had heard of odder things, but people believing a stone could make them feel better? Maybe it's the reassurance they give themselves or something...
"Me? Well, I'm in here to find a cure for cancer." Kumizu laughed. It was much more interesting than the truth. "No, I'm kidding. But... it's something I doubt I could do on school property..."

"Kumi at work again.Though I am interested in what you could possably doing, I figure it would be best if I didn't know.."Keilantra let out a small laugh and continued to stir the stones. They were almost melted but the pearls kep sperating from the melted stone.'Hmm..thats strange...'Digging through the bag of black pearls again she tossed a few more in.It seemed that a white pearl had gotten in the bag by mistake and was now in the pot with the rest.A small glow came from the pot Keilantra thought nothing off it and started to read her book.

"It's not like it's illegal or anything..." Kumizu said innocently. "But... yeah, it's probably better if you didn't." He wasn't trying to keep secrets from Keila, but, wouldn't it be better if she wasn't lying when asked about it later?
In any case, Kumizu forgot about it when he noticed the pot start to glow. I seriously doubt that's some magic power from special stones melting together. He'd seen his share of... customs, for lack of a better word, and though he'd never say it, he doubted they would change a person's mood. "...Is it supposed to glow like that?"

"I dont...think so..but how..."She leaned forward and searched in the pot.Seeing the white pearl she tilted her head.Keilantra flipped through the book and quickly scanned a page."Oops..."'Well science always was my worrste subject...'In a hesitent tone she quickly turned the fire off and a bright light blinded her for a second.Covering her eyes she peeked through her fingers. The light was gone and now in the pot was burned stones of differnt colors stuck to the bottom."Ok..well that was only my first attempt..."Grabbing he po she dunked it into a sink and ran hott water over it.'Note to self...mood jewels, and black and white pearls go caboom when mixed together.'Shaking her head she tryed to scrub the pot clean."Oh forget this!"Keilantra said in a furstrated tone and snapped her fingers.Instantly the dirty burnt pot turned into a new clean one.

Kumizu too covered his eyes, and then coughed a bit at the smoke. "Well... no reason to get frustrated." After the tries it took me to get this thing, I sure as hell am one to talk. "It's only your first try, and you never know how these... mood jewels are going to react to one another, right?" Before he could step towards the sink, Keila had snapped her fingers. He shrugged. Faster than using his water to pull out the grime.
((Gotta go.))

Keilantra nodded and placed the pot on the counter."Yeah your right...I jus gotta keep trying."Walking over to her bag she placd her items back in and slowly threw it onto her shoulder. She went down alittle as the heavyness of the items rested on her shoulder."Well if Im ever gonna gett this right I need to sleep. It was nice seeing you again Kumi, since the last time I saw you, it seemed you were intoxicated. But no more talk of that, hope you have more luck wih what ever your doing then I did."Waving to Kumizu she pushed the door open and stepped out of the labs.
((Bye! I have to go soon anyway... xp ))

Usagihana sighed as she walked around the room, her metal plates clacking... She didn't like this body at all. She missed being an egg-shaped bunny android. This new, sleek, dangerous war-form of hers felt... too deadly... well, too deadly for her own liking. This form was made for battle and crisis epoches alone, and nothing else. Why the hell is she stuck in that damn suit'o'armor? She paced, the narrow red eyes elegant as usual, yet cold and intelligent.
Suddenly, she caught new incoming data on her GPS and aural seeker sys. Seemed like Rivera was finally going to come and see her. Oh crud! There were security systems up! Usagihana was about to disconnect the security when Rivera emerged right before her in her transport circle. The girl closed the spell and wound it up like a roll of measuring tape before putting it back into the safe spot in the pocket of her shorts. "Usagihana, fancy seeing you here... Kira's still suspended, right?"
"Hai. He's still out there in nowhere..."
"Sou desu neh..." Rivera nodded and looked around. She came here to see Lorelai about a club she was interested in joining... Kai was interested too, but he had class, so he asked her to bring his credentials. "Have you seen Lorelai-san anywhere?"
"Lorie-chan? She's in the back... what, you applying for her new club."
"Mmhm... Kai-kun too. He's good with this sort of stuff." Rivera took out two envelopes. "Although I hope I get time to join any fencing clubs around here... I need some extra work... I'm very rusty after 2000 years or so..."
"Well, ganbaru neh?" Usagihana began to walk away, "I've got some work to finish up on the GPS. Ciao!" With that, the android vanished into the depths of the lab, leaving Rivera there to look for Lorie...

Lorelai emerged from the back room as she heard Usagihana and Rivera talking out in the main room, a wide but soft smile painted across her face. Walking up to Rivera, she looked her up and down, nodding before addressing her directly. "Well... hello there!" she said cheerfully. "I remember you... You're the girl from that Crimson Decadia ritual. Quite the interesting one, you are."
Walking over to the table where she was working before, she picked up one of her many pieces of scanning equipment. "So, did you come here to help me gather more data?" she asked, smiling happily. "You were emitting some very interesting waveform frequencies during that ritual, you know. I can tell you're a special one." Without waiting for an answer, Lorelai started turning various dials on the device she was carrying, tuning it up.

Rivera looked at the strange girl that emerged from the back of the room and smiled slightly. "I don't know whether or not that is a complement... but I will treat it as one." She replied. "Thank you for taking the data... Usagihana has already uploaded it into my network, and I am dissecting it currently..." Eyeing the strange device in the girl's hand she gave a quizzical look. Curiosity kills the cat... except the cat's got more than one mere life. She would take the risk if there is one. It was a few seconds before she remembered why she was here.
"Oh, I came after reading a flyer on your recent club... the temporal research institute..." She held up the two envelopes containing information concerning her and Kai. "My friend and I are interested in taking part... you should find that we would meet most of the requirements you might set, if I did my research correctly."

Lorelai gave a sort of approving smile at Rivera as she handed her the application papers for her and Kai. "Interesting! You're the first person to come and talk to me about the club," she said. "I was beginning to wonder if anyone had actually noticed the postings at all. Clubs are pretty boring if you're the only one there, after all..."
Opening up the envelopes, she started reading over the information contained within. Her eyebrows showed her relative surprise at discovering just what the girl in front of her and this friend of hers were capable of, and she whistled a little as she skimmed through the summary of their abilities. Folding the papers up several seconds later, she looked back to Rivera, nodding. "These are pretty impressive credentials you've got here," she said, waving the papers in her direction. "I don't think I need to see much more out of you than this. You'll have to show me what you and your friend are capable of sometime, but I'd say you're more than qualified based on what I've seen here."

Rivera smiled slightly again. "Kai is very powerful... but he needs me to be precise. I'm actually pretty weak, so I need Kai's power to achieve what I need. That's what makes us a good team for any temporal-spatial projects..." She looked back towards the darkness where her android had left. "Usagi has been a little too embarrased to request this... but she wants to know if she can be the mascot for your club... she's mine and Kai's main tool for temporal point calculations and location seeker... she just doesn't want to ask straight out..." Rivera's eye caught on a strange electric device with a spinning propeller on the table. She picked it up and began fiddling with it. "Renerva, jontyure..." Wires from the object snapped free and shot into her arms, connecting directly through her nerves. "This is cool... if only it had a purpose..." Rivera analyzed the object absentmindedly. She was easily amused by simple mechanical robotics.
