Blitz kept a face of stone, but sent Laurel a shock to the tip of her nose from his ear. "Don't ever say that name again... And it's gonna look quite suspicious with you leaned over my shoulder like that. Take a seat."

5ilver 5treak Eulalia Danae Erica turned and walked to the next table, taking a double take as she saw Bobby, "Hey, um..Bo..Str...Mr. Bradock. Can I get your order?" "Erica," Bobby nodded, then grinned suddenly. "Do you have muffins here?"
She glanced to the side surprised to see Blitz had arrived, a smile curving on her lips. She turned her head back to Bobby, "anything else?"

She glanced to the side surprised to see Blitz had arrived, a smile curving on her lips. She turned her head back to Bobby, "anything else?""So no chocolate muffins? Too bad. I'd like a Jolt Cola, and a glass of white wine for Miss Lynn."

Louise took a moment to mentally run through her information again, for the four hundreth time in the past hour. She had an address for the destruction guy so if things didn’t pan out here in the next hour or so she’d go and pay him a visit next.
Guys, in Lu’s opinion, were the easier of the sexes to bring down. They were purely physical creatures and rarely sought to bring weapons into the fight, excluding firearms.
Girls, on the other hand, were just plain insane. Not only would they use physical attacks but they’d throw just about anything at you in hopes that a piece of good china would get you to go away. This, however, was not the case when it came to Louise.

Erica shook her head, "Nope, sorry Bobby." She chuckled and put the pad of paper back on the side of her belt.
She passed by Lu's table on her way to the kitchen and paused. "Anything I can get for you, hon?" The lone figure confused and intrigued her. Erica missed the times she could have judged her emotional state by no more than a look, but her sensitivity to that was nearly all gone. The thought crossed her mind that perhaps this one was gifted. But she knew better than to ask, there were many pitfalls in the Union these days.

Laurel led Blitz to the table where she had left her sandwich. As promised, it was in the back, against the wall, and afforded a view of the entire room. Laurel stood next to her chair, waiting for Blitz.

Lu gave the waitress a steady gaze out of her one, good, eye. Finally, after an awkwardly long moment of silence she decided. “A glass of water.” Granted, she’d probably not even touch it but she’d realized that to truly blend in, she’d need a reason to be occupying the back table for so long. “Please.” She added, snapping back to this reality. Lu was shifting into that mode, the one where all she does until she is look for her perp. She doesn’t eat. She doesn’t drink. She doesn’t even sleep or walk right until she knows they’re in custody and she’s been paid. It’s not a healthy system but no one ever said that she had to be healthy as long as she was capable of bringing in her guy. Or girl, in some cases.
