Oberon felt the slight shake from the boys stomach and stood up heading out the door with the boy still in his arms. "you hungry" he asked

Kass nodded. " A little bit but it's okay i can wait." He said smiling and snuggling into the coon.

Oberon smiled and shook his head "i'm already up, lets go" he said walking with the boy still in his arms. He cought a glimps of white fur and wondered if the guy was upstairs from before.

" Okay but you have to eat too okay?" Kass said nodded though it probably felt like nuzzling. He didn't see Laken walk back towards the kitchen or see the concerned look on his face.

Oberon on second hand did see Laken "umm" he said quietly as he reached the kitchen he hastily set Kass down on one of the stools and looked as if he was walking towords the door to leave but stopped just leaning back agenced the wall next to the fridge, his head made contact with the wall rather harshly making a resounding thump. Oberon felt tears stinging at it eyes but kept them down in case Kass was watching. He looked down at his scrubs from the institute and sighed, he wasnt good for Kass.

Kass jumped at the sound of Oberon's head hitting the wall. " Are you alright?" He asked slipping from the stoll so he could check the bunny over. Since he was alot shorter then most he had to stand on his tip toes to to look. " Want some ice?"

Oberon let his head roll along the wall as he looked down at Kass "no, i'm fine Kass" he said quietly, he looked up to see if Laken was anywhere to be seen.

Kass nodded relucktently before moving away, he could make them breakfast but je didn't know how to cook yet. biting his lip he looked away. " Are you hungry?"
Laken sat off to the side, he'd never seen Kass so calm for so long maybe he was too quick to judge the rabbit? He sighed softly and finished of his milk, he should apologise.

Kass got a serious look on his face smiled then went to the freezer. " Toaster strudal things." He said holding the box, Laken chuckled and shook his head. " Careful, he'll steal yours if you dont eat it right away." The white cat said smiling at Oberon, it was an apology of sorts.

Oberon diverted his eyes from Laken lowering his head visible and his ears drooping a bit. "yeah" he mumbled in reply to Laken. He walked over and took the box from Kass "mind me making them" he asked putting on a fake cheer.

" I burn them so, go ahead." Kass smiled wagged his tail. " but i get to draw with the icing."
Laken sighed and stood. " how about you guys eat in the back yard today it's beautiful out."

Oberon put the pastries in the toaster and smiled "of course Kass" he said happily, he listened to Laken and closed up more, he assumed that the head man wanted himout of the house.

Kass looked back and forth frowning. He didn't like that Laken upset his friend. " No thank you Laken we'll go to my room and eat, wont we Oberon?"

Oberon looked down at Kass with wide eyes. He popped the pastries out and handed kass the frosting. He was afraid that Kass had challenged Lakens request.
