hmmmm.... I would have to say the clarinets or the percussion... with the clarinets it's their attitude towards each other and older members of the band and percussion because of their attitude to the band director...

Well, instrument-wise, I hate the trumpet! Not to mention, the kids in my band who play the trumpet are all showoffs and eventually try to play as loud as they possibly can. And it just gets really, really annoying. =/

Either trumpets or French Horn. Both of them never seem to be intune or too loud

Euphonium. All the notes sound the same, and the two people who play it in my band only play about half the time.

I hate my school's flute section. With the newcoming fourth graders, we have more of them than we do trumpets.... And the fourth graders are always out of tune, playing the wrong note, out of rhythm, behind, or all of the above. And now they overpower EVERYBODY ELSE!
It makes me sad that people hate the trombone. It makes me feel like I'm unappreciated.... crying

hmmm, well yes. Most people hate a section due to the laziness of the people in that section, or their pure stupidity (ie director always over helping them figure their freagin parts...grg) I appreciate/love all sections-im in one of the best HS bands which is also extremely flexible in MN. Flutes are wicked fast and can sound damn fine. Clarinets-dependign on the player-can have a wodnerfully eerie sound, but are also good with speed and notation. trombones-well, boners are jsut sexy! And expereinced players sound nice and brassy-i luv it. French horns-beautiful. Tubas-i play the tuba, and i kick @$$. Enough said. Percussion has lots of cool toys i can play with smile The only questionable section is the trumpets *shifty eyes*

Everyone hates the flutes!! I resent that...because I happen to play the flute. And I have to say this, if you hate us so much, you try playing a flute. They're evil!! They never seem to want to stay in tune!! And you shouldn't say that if you play trumpet or any brass instrument. It's harder to blow with a flute, especially when the wind starts blowing...grrr and then there's the cold weather that makes us sharp...gawd I hate my flute. But the section I hate? It'd have to be the saxes because most of them are stuck up assholes who don't listen to their section leader, who is the only girl sax player, pretty much. They need a serious attitude adjustment. Especially the damn seniors. I WANT OUR 2005 GRADS BACK!! cry

I THINK THE SAME THING...When the flippin wind starts blowing, you can't even play, Well you can but it's hard...that happens to me ALL the time....I can't wait to be able to play picc...you have to be at least a junior though... sad

In middle school, I knew everyone in the sections. Now I don't..so I can't pick anything.
I used to dislike trombones...not the people...just the instruments. They didn't sound good or something. Now I like them...just because it's cool to watch the slides (or whatever you call it) move when they play something quick.
