What is it you are wondering about? I seem to hang around the marketplace these days...

Well the FAQ that the link in the Gaia Marketpkace takes you to is pretty basic. I was hoping someone knew of a more in depth one perhaps put together by a user because the Auction information provided by Gaia is pretty lacking.
I bid on an auction that has 12 more days to go, and I UNDERSTAND that my gold is held to make sure the bid is honored (just like neo) but what I wonder is if in the event someone comes along and outbids me will my gold then return to me, or do I still need to wait 12 more days?

I haven't really paid attention to it thoroughly. I've done auctions a couple times. Usually I just buy only. And when I've done auctions, they don't last that long, nor are they that expensive, so I've never really had a chance to wonder about when gold is returned. Wish I could help you out!

yeah, that is why I am really hoping someone had put together an FAQ more comprehensive than the one supplied by Gaia.

I logged in this morning and found I had the gold back. Have not looked to see if I was outbid OR if he ended the auction. I am a little sad, cause the auction was for my wishlist's most coveted item, a pair of slippers rolleyes

Brbidll What is it you are wondering about? I seem to hang around the marketplace these days...
Why? There's nobody on the couch anymore... There are so many ~last posts~ by myself or my mules, and I only check threads where someone else has posted something newer. I don't like feeling like a thread killer. I do find however I am updating my health and fitness thread several times a week lately and it is sure nice to see the feedback from purkles interested enough to cheer me on

The more I thought about it, I finally decided to try it in a shade closer to my own in RL... besides I am not quite ready to part with the DUCKY outfit... rolleyes
