Jaukk nodded his head before he raised a brow, a slight frown crossing over his face as he let out a displeased sound, "Are you declining to the proposition then, cat?" For the life of him he couldn't remember the feline's name, so 'cat' would do just nicely. It's not like Jaukk really cared enough to remember his name, anyway.

"A-actually, I am t-too scared right now to know what I am th-thinking." Enyalius gulped, trying with all his might to organize his thoughts. This was truely a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Damn this fear and what it was doing to him. He gripped the arms of the chair so hard that his claws dug through the fabric and pad, sinking into the wood below.

Jaukk knelt down, placing his hands over Enyalius' as they gripped the chair tigheter, "Why so terrified all of a sudden, cat? Did I do something in my actions to upset you?" There went that smirk again, creeping up on half-stitched lips. He hadn't even taken any sort of control over the other, he was just being...well, himself. "I thought I wasn't 'that bad'?"

"H-honestly, I d-don't know." Enyalius slowly began to gain the upper hand on his emotions, beating back the fear a little bit, enough to control his voice. His hands steadied a bit, and he brought his head up to look Jaukk in the eyes. "I have met a lot of people, some of them quite thoroughly evil by almost any definition of the word, and I have never felt as afraid as I do now. I would find it a most interesting situation, were I able to order my thoughts that far ahead." He conciously forced his paws to relax slightly, startled by how far he had sunk his claws into the hard wood. "You do not seem all that bad, but for some reason you frighten me out of my mind."

"Foolish." Jaukk snapped out with a low, menacing growl, "If I am not 'all that bad' then why, cat, do you fear me so? Hmm? Is it because the realization that I effectively own you sank in, or is it just that you expected demons to be oh-so-regretful in the decision that they made?" Jaukk released the other's hands as he backed up and crossed his arms over his chest.

Enyalius thought a moment before replying, forcing the fear into a small place at the back of his mind. "All the assumptions that I have made so far have been proven almost universally false, so I assume nothing. I very much wish I knew why I fear you so greatly. It is not strength, I have faced strong people before. Nor is it intelligence, I have spoken with some of the brightest. It could be the fact that you effectively own me, I have never experienced that before..." He paused, following the line of reasoning in his head. "I believe you hit the nail on the head with that observation."

"You're not exactly a challenge to read, cat." Jaukk growled out as he turned and walked away from the feline, growing slightly bored since he seemed to be regaining his composure once more. Leaning against the wall with arms crossed, he reached out and unlocked the door, though he left it shut.

"Well, I would wager that you have had a little more time than I have to perfect that skill." Enyalius flexed his paws, rubbing absently at the gouges in the fabric he had left. He hoped that Mikkael would not be angry at the damage, but shrugged that thought off as something to deal with at a later time. "Tell me, what exactly did you mean, 'declining the proposition'?" Enyalius leans forward in the chair, feeling much more self-controled with some distance between them.

Jaukk sighed heavily. "The oh-so-interesting proposition of immortality that was offered to you? What else would I be talking about with you, cat." Jaukk hissed softly through stitched lips, causing a rather horrid whistle to erupt from the stitched areas.

"How is that possible?" Enyalius tilted his head to the side, trying to wrap his mind aroind the totally alien concept. "Are you not either immortal because of what you are, or not?" He shrugged. "I am assuming again. It's bad habbit that I should really break. More to the point, how is it even possible to attain?"

"For a cat who claims to have talked to some of the brightest, you're not all that bright." Jaukk grumbled out. The other was rather..dense due to just now gaining composure over himself again. Did he forget everything they had just discussed? "Your immortality can be obtained through Maybe or Mikkael's bite, called the Kiss, that would lead to your Embracing and becoming of a vampire."

"Pardon my lack of insight into this issue, it is far outside my range of experiences. My mind is also in somewhat of a shambles right now." Enyalius stated properly. "The intire concept is so incredibly interesting. The real question that remains is more or less out of my hands, though, it is by Mikkael or Maybe's inclination that this could take place. To this point, I have had no luck at all reading them, they are a closed book to me." He shrugs. "I would not be adverse to the idea, in any case, it would be an experience like no other."

"It was a decision more or less made by Maybe. Mikkael could really care less about it, but he perfers to not have any Fledglings following under his orders just yet, so you would become a Fledgling to Maybe." Jaukk said simply, as if it were simple as business math.

"Made, you say? Past tense?" Enyalius looked up, eyes questioning. "I take it that this topic has already been subject to discussion before this?" He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "A fledgling, would be... what?" He reached for the book he was reading, finding reassurance in the solid feel of the leather. Perhaps it would contain the information he desired.

"A Fledgling is the lowest class of vampires; the newly Embraced, or 'new blood,' as some pompous vampires would say. You would serve and answer to your Master or 'Father,' which would be Maybe, and those above you in rank that lie in your blood circle - Mikkael.. Then of course, me, but I will barely ask you of anything rather than demand or take it." Jaukk said as he looked down at his hands, examining to see if there was any dirt beneath his fingernails. Apparently he had all the information already stored.
