What about restaurant ? I don't think that falls in the same category as the others. Because to me, takeout sounds like Chinese... maybe if you changed takeout to eating out.

I'm gonna say nothing beats a good home cooked meal.

for the most part, I like eating out...unless it's a really good home cooked meal.

Lash Tamaron
argument for argument's sake is the same myth as evil for evil's sake. There's always a causation beyond that, even if the impetus is simply "enjoyment". An interest in one's own enjoyment of an act, regardless of any conviction beyond that, is enough to give lie to any claims of "apathy" that the youth of today so desperately cleave to, as if their abdication of responsibility was somehow something more than the illusion of "rising above the sheep" that it really is.

In short, if something looks like a contradiction, it usually is.

By apathy I mean lack of emotions.

When my co-worker that I had worked with for nearly 2 years...8 hours daily...had gotten an aneurysm. My first thoughts were...he owes me $1.50 and even a month later I haven't felt anything.

And I'm pretty sure that would fall under the definition using this defintion

"Indifference, unresponsiveness, displaying less interest or reactivity to a situation than would normally be expected."

Oh, I'd rather not be. Saves me the effort of trying.

Is that so you can put the effort in a different area or...

Reminds of and episode of the Simpsons I saw, where Homer was at a retirement home I think and kept having everything done for him. Such as some sort of breathing apparatus so he didn't have to use his lungs, and IV therapy so he didn't have to eat.
