This... this new one. Marks? He seemed to remember the name in passing... and then it clicked. ...this was the demon who'd been thrown out a couple weeks back, after starting the fight with the vampire. .......Scion knew all the best people.
Eden shrunk away imperceptibly, withdrawing more into himself than physically at Marks' approach. He didn't want to know more trouble makers. Really, he didn't.
....................................................
..........The Ravnos? What now?
"Good mood, eh?" Marks threw an imperiously amused look back towards the angel in question, obviously mocking the sneer he'd seen before crossing over Peregrine's face. "But hell, brat - can you really see anybody sleeping with that guy who wasn't paid to do it? Someone died."
Then he snorted in slighter amusement, looking back to the two of them and still ignoring Eden for the most part (for which the lamia was quite grateful), "So you here just to piss off our least favorite CEO or what?" No mention of his own business - though he wouldn't mind sharing. It had nothing to do with Skittles anyway, and even if the brat found out then he'd likely want to stay clear of it.

"Actually I came to appologize to Eden since Skittles bit him. My brother control is la..lax at the best of times right now." Scion sigh pushing his hair out of his face. "And you? Why are you here? Pissing someone off as well?"

Hunh? Brother? Psychotic little--never mind.
"Naw," Marks waved his hand negligently, a smirk coloring his features into something almost wicked. "Picking for favors from the vampire hater over yonder," his hand shifted to gesture clearly towards Peregrine. "Got something I'd like... taken care of." Though it was clear by his tone that he didn't mean 'knocked off' - or at least not in the way people usually meant it.
And now they were talking about him. He knew they were talking about him... He didn't much like the idea. Of all the Townhouse residents to run into first, why did it have to be these two? The ideal would've been Oliver. Not the psychopaths. ...Ironic as that might sound.

"Hmmm would you care for a drink before you went and talked to him?" Scion questioned looking back at Peregrine amused. "I belive anyone willing to talk to his lord of eye stabbiness," the fox was clearly amused by this term. "Should first have a drink."
Scion tapped his lip and then turned to Eden, reaching out to gently stroak the Lamia's hair again. "Stop worrying so much. Drawling yourself in a ball isn't going to help."

"I've had my limit tonight," Marks shook his head easily - and he had too. A couple of drinks before starting the brawl - didn't want to get tipsy when dealing with Peregrine - not that he wouldn't trust his judgement just... it'd be easier to get the angel to do something if Marks didn't have to beat him up first. The beating up part could come later. For fun.
"You two enjoy your pre-teen little selves," he called back with a mock salute as he moseyed over to Peregrine. Yup. Life was good.
"Might help," Eden muttered under his breath, frowning thoroughly at Marks, weighing the... lesser of two evils and coming out with Scion. Marks wanted Peregrine to kill vampires? Happy joy with a heavy dose of sarcasm. He didn't like where this was going.
Peregrine's frown darkened somewhat as Marks approached, though he stood his ground and stared evenly at the now be-winged Ravnos. He had even more right to throw out this one than Skittles, though somewhat less motivation, hating Marks less as he did. All the same. The former vampire was hardly welcome in his presence.
What could he possibly want, too? Nothing to do with... his brother, Peregrine knew, must at least be edgy by this point in time. But all evidence had shown that the Ravnos no longer cared about Alex's well-being - which left the angel at something of a loss as to what Marks might be doing here. Wanting to talk to him.
"Hey, Pip," Marks grinned widely upon approach, "I got a deal for ya."
.....ah ha?

Scion nodded. It was understandable. He tilted his head at Eden. "How is it going to help? You just make yourself an very inviting target curling up in a ball like that." He tugged his hair wondering what Marks was going to talk to Peregrine about..oooh well it didn't include him.

Eden just glared at Scion for a moment, unwilling to elaborate (again) on the multitude of reasons why it didn't matter what he was doing looked looked like to Scion because he didn't plan on running into people like Scion for a very, very long time - if ever again. On a matter of not only survival but principle. "Mmph," he said indistinctly, still curled into his ball of safety.
Then... "Can you hear them?" still muttering - just because... he didn't like this Marks. And he didn't like the idea of what someone like Marks might be able to get Peregrine to agree to.

"I might be able to..."he muttered ears falling down. Actually he could but that ment allowing the voices to come to him and what he heard was going to be a bit garbled. "Don't want to though.."

"Mmph," Eden said again, intending it to mean 'okay whatever you don't have to >>' in as few syllables as possible. This just wasn't going to end well. He had that feeling. Curling, if possible, even more into himself, the lamia continued to throw nervous glances over towards the two who were now... oddly enough, not arguing. And if either of them looked surprised, shocked, affronted or any sort of unsettled it was... weirdly enough, Marks - who couldn't seem to decide which of these he wanted to feel and/or express.
Thank God the nachos arrived right about then.

Scion followed the nervous glance over and blinked twice. "I would think they would be aruging.." the rest was lost as his eyes saw the food and the ears perked up. Nachos!
He wagged his tail eagerly as they where set down and ate in dainty quick little bites. Rather neatly not getting a bit of cheese decorating his mouth as he crunched though them all thoughts of what Marks and Peregrine could be talking about forgoten.

The lamia attempted to distract himself with the oddity of Scion's eating habits. Odd because... well, he wasn't really ashamed to admit he was floored to see the other eating so delicately. It just wasn't something he'd expected at all.
And thus he was a little surprised when, minutes later in the distraction, Marks returned to poked the fox squarely in the back of the head.
"Hey, brat," the demon enunciated with but a shade of irritation in his tone, though he hid it well beneath bravado and a smirk, "I have a joke for you."

Scion dropped the nacho he was about to eat with a surprised little epp, and whirled eyes wide. He shook himself, eyes flat, he hated being poke like that. "Scion, not brat...yes?" He muttered ears down.

This was what ticked him off - Peregrine had, he knew, been straining at the leash to get the rights to do some good ol' vampire beating. But still he'd arranged a deal. And Marks had gone along with it. Not because he'd felt obligated to do something in turn, but because he'd been... kinda actually entertained. Or... you know, a little interested. Though that interest was always a little challenged and confused with itself when it came to a certain kid.
"What's taller than you, shorter than me, has wings but won't fly and been missing from the Townhouse for a while, apparently?"
Honestly, he hadn't noticed that Rob was missing. But that sort of explained why Three Eyes had been extra jumpy, aggressive and also missing a lot, though admittedly Three Eyes had been coming back - if only really late at night and for short amounts of time. Probably also why Three Eyes had been giving him so many dirty looks. Well, now he knew he could rightfully say he had nothing to do with it. Hell if he knew where the kid'd run off to.
Though apparently Peregrine knew. And from that arch look the tight-a** now directed at their trio (Was the lamia kid still here? Yup. Whatever.) it wasn't going to be anything simple.
It didn't really matter if the fox reacted at all. Though the reaction from Marks had been... unexpected. So long as the word eventually reached his brother.
In the meantime, he'd have vampires to deal with. Plenty to occupy himself with until Nicodemus came barging in with ill-considered demands.
....yeah okay, what? No wonder he was always surprised - he never knew what other people were talking about...

"Alex?" Scion question wondering what the two winged bird had to do with this. THe other name was Alex right...He couldn't remeber. The voice caused everything to be so blurred. He was the only one that didn't fly though that had wings. Even Vain flew around now and the demon enjoyed it.

"That's not a punchline, brat," Marks rolled his eyes and took a seat, though the way he was perched made it clear he could stand and leave in a bare second and likely intended to as well. "Here's the funny part," he shot a momentary, inscrutable look at Peregrine before those darkly red eyes focused once more on the fox, "There isn't a funny part. That's it. See you around."
And with that brief message the demon was up and away, out the door and temporarily out of their lives - much to the relief of certain patrons who'd managed to recognize Marks. Thank God, one more strike and he'd be out for good...
Eden watched the departing demon nervously, sinking into a crossed arms rest over the bar instead of the defensive crouch he'd hidden within in the demon's presence. "What?" he shamelessly asked. He'd feel better if Scion didn't get it either.
