Once Shokan arrived he felt a change in temperature. He saw many other genin about his age sitting around the meteor. One stood, "Welcome to the hidden star village. Sit around the meteor he showed him a hand sign and try to absorb the charka of the meteor. Shokan nodded and sat on a pad and put his hands in the position and starred at the meteor. How am I supposed to do this? Toji came up to Shokan and barked quietly. Shokan remembered and executed the man beat clone and they both began to close their eyes and called to the chakra. Shokan invisioned his chakra. He began to feel somthing else.

Shokan had a feeling come over him and his chakra now began to become multicolored. what is this feeling? I've never felt it before. Shokan knew he wasn't the onyl one feeling this new chakra. Toji was making noises, showing he was nervous and confused. The chakra began to combine with his own and a multicolor aura appeared around himself and toji. This is amazing, a new chakra, who would've thought. he began to concintrate and try to mold the chakra, he could move it but nto control it yet. He squeezed his hands tighter to try and aid himself, but it failed. Toji was just letting himself absorb the chakra so Shokan decided to abosorb as much as he could.

Akahoshi walked into the room and tapped Shokan on the shoulder. " Now that you've been exposed to the chakra for some time you can now attempt for the jutsu. Follow me." Shokan stood and Toji followed in Shokans form. They went up to a hill. "Now, watch." He did hand signs and the colorful chakra made a pecock tail from his back. "Myterious Pecock Method, Kujaku Myouhou" Shokan's eyes became wide as he watched. "Now you try." Shokan nodded. He looked to Toji, the both did the hand seals and Shokans mixed chakra did a large wave but disapated almost as suddenly as it appeared. Toji's made a tail but it was extremly small, you couldn't see it unless you looked at him from behind.

Akahoshi nodded his head slowly, "Good but you need more control, and you Toji, you need to be unafirad to use too much chakra." They both nodded and tried again. This time their attempts switched. "Control is the key, you have enough of the chakra to preform the jutsu. The both closeed their eyes and concintrated. "Mysterious Pecock method, Kujaku Myouhou" They did it but it began to fade rapidly. Akahoshi smiled, "Good very good. Now you just need to get more chakra. The more you get the easier the technique becomes, but if you get too much it can be fatal." He turned and walked away, "Continue to try or go to the star, I will return." He vanished. Shokan looked to Toji, "We still have a ways to go huh buddy?" Toji nodded and they headed back to the house.

As the entered they went right to work at absorbing the chakra, within seconds the aura appeared around them. They concentrated as hard as they could and their aura incraesed. I can't fail, and I won't Shokan became angry with himself and the aura grew more. Toji closed his eyes tighter and his arua also becmae larger. Shokan began to sweat, he wanted to learn faster but couldn't force himself to absorb any mroe chakra any faster. Alot of time passed and their aura's became larger and larger, Shokan had to avoid trying to manipulate it becuase he if he did he would get cocky, and he knew that would be a mistake.

Akahoshi came back again, "Do you think you're ready?" Shokan jumped up and nodded, Toji rose slowly and smiled. They went back to the area from before. Though this time there was a slight wind. "Let's see what you got." Akahoshi said confidently. The pair closed their eyes and conecentrated. On their first try they made it but it disipated quickly. "Okay better now I want to see it even better." They shook their heads. They did it again and it lasted for a short while longer. And again it remained the same, the 3rd time it lasted for a few seconds. Akahoshi laughed, "Good now we have to work on it being steady. You need to push your rainbow chakra into it constantly it won't stay on it's own. You have more than enough to do it."

"Now go back and meditate and come back on your own." Shokan was becoming excited about learning this new jutsu. They went back and metitated once again. They had gotten used to this new chakra. As did the other students get used to Shokan and Toji coming and going in and out of the house. They meditated in the circle of others obsorbing it's chakra and concintrating on how to learn more and more efficently. Their breathing was soft and their consitration heavy. The hand seal had become second nature and their exciment grew by the minute.

Their breathing was soft, though Shokan and Toji could reconize eachothers breathing. They used eachother for strength and had both want to gain as much power as they could. The both wanted to be able to save eachother if they needed to. This is what they concentrated on, helping eachother, and gaining power to help others. Shokan closed his eyes tightly to try and forget the battle that he almost lost Toji in. Toji just wanted to become stronger so he could be of more use to Shokan, as useual their training had brough their bond closer. They swore on their realationship that they would never let the other one down. THey would die together or live together not inbetween.

Shokan stood from the circle and looked to Toji, "I am going to go train." Toji nodded and closed his eyes he wanted to meditate more. Shokan went to the hill and did the hand signs. "Kujaku Myouhou" It appeared and it held for a good 20 seconds before Shokan lost grip. "Again." He coached himself. He did the technique again "Kujaku Myouhou" It held for a few mroe seconds. Toji concentrated on learning the ways of the chakra, and how it flowed. Shokan continued to practice as he kept imporving bit by bit. Toji was getting to know the chakra, as was Shokan, but their methods were diffrent. Toji knew what it was like and how he could manipulate the new chakra with slightly useing his own and Shokan was learning first hand how to do it by sheer will.

Akahoshi again walked into the house and called to them but Toji was the only one in sight. "Where is Shokan?" Toji began ot walk and gestured for him to follow and they began to walk twoards the hill. Akahoshi said, "So do you think you're getting better at this technique, and Toji nodded. "Good becuase you are getting closer." He continued to explain the diffrent ways to manipulate this chakra and it's powers and weakness. Toji nodded trying to learn as much as he could about how the chakra felt. Feeling is the best way for Toji to learn how to use the technique.

As they cleared the hill Akahoshi thought Shokan had almost gotten it the technique, but the fact was that he was able to do it for almost a full minute. "Shokan that was amazing, but you need to control it, make it so it is not somthing you're controling but a part of yourself you are using." Shokan nodded and finally understood. "Now Toji, you haven't been practicing, let me see what you can do." Toji made the feathers instantly and it stayed, but Akahoshi shook his head, "You are using your original chakra to control it, so basically you're at the same spot as Shokan." Akahoshi made the hand signs and the feathers appeared. "This is the technique of the hidden star, you must make this chakra your own." Shokan and Toji nodded and prepared for their training.

Akahoshi went on explaining and told them the history of the power, "200 years ago, a strange meteorite landed at this place, and caused a humongous crater, destroying all trees and plants around the vicinity. The meteorite itself is not that large, but it emits a strange purple glow. Also, after 200 years, still no trees nor plants could grow around the vicinity. The First Hoshikage was able to devise a training method to allow the ninja in the village to harness the power of the star, allowing supernatural chakra levels, and the completion of the training allows such abilities as block projectiles" He paused, "But you proably don't care so lets get to training."

Shokan and Toji nodded and did the signs, and the feathers came out and lasted longer than before but started to grow unstable and wavey and went away. "More control" Shokan and Akahoshi said at the same time and they tried yet again with close to the same effect make it the chakra your own. Shokan closed his eyes and relaxed and the feathers came and stayed Toji was still fading in and out. Akahoshi looked to Shokan, "Very good, now you must learn to do it without so much effort." Shokan nodded and Toji contnued to try. Shokan now did the hand signs and nervously did the technique again but it waverd out quickly. "Don't be so nervous." Akahoshi said calmly. Shokan nodded and took a deep breath.

Shokan began to relax and tried again, and now it was even with Toji's once again. Akahoshi said "Remember how much control you need, it is your chakra, you must control it to use it." Shokan shook his head and tried again. It stayed but suddenly falterd as he was about to disengage it. Akahoshi shook his head, "Don't think it will stay, just like a fire jutsu, you must constantly use your chakra or it will go away." Shokan understood and tried again and it stayed. Toji almost had it but not quite. Akahoshi smiled in approval. "One last step Shokan." Shokan looked at him curiously, "Now you must do it and keep it without having to keep the hand sign there."

Shokan could do it but it always would stop in random spots. Toji had now gotten it but poofed back to his original form and began to bark at Shokan for encouragment. Shokan began to calm down and it got better. "It is my chakra and I will control it!" The feathers appeared and stayed. "I did it! Finally!" Toji jumped on him and licked him and the feather still stayed. Akahoshi smiled, "Congradulations you learned the Kujaku Myouhou. Now you can start to learn how to manipulate it in diffrent ways." He looked at Toji, "But I siggest leaving him at knowing the basic skill." Shokan nodded, "You know best."
