Do lots of sit-ups and play DDR.

Kraft food sends you free DDR pads by the way. Well, I dunno about Israel, but I got one for free. It's a good thing I don't have any downstairs neighbors.

Nathan! Come to my rescue. I want to know how we'll know the messiah is the messiah. Is there really any for sure way to know? What will happen once the messiah does come? question

what am i, the bad cop?

rambam, also known as maimonades, wrote about it (a lot of what he wrote is definitive work, very highly esteemed- "from moshe (rebeinu) to moshe (ben maimon), there was no one like moshe")

basicly, there are "potential messiahs" all the time (one in each generation). rambam writes about certain requirements. however, one can only be considered the true messiah after the fact, ie, if he builds the third temple, etc.

ani m'amim, b'emunah sh'laimu, b'veiras hamoshiach, v'im kol ze a'chakelo, b'chol yom sh'yeavoh

Anyway. So it's kinda like becoming a saint? You can't be one until after you die. INTERESTING!

not quite. but yeah, that's pretty much it. builds third temple, unites jewish poeple, a few more things... it's a lot less complicated than one might think.
