"This is called 'getting to know each other'. People who aren't lifebonded do it sometimes. Especially since my skirts, short though they may be, aren't easy to get lifted up."

Rayne sighed. "Wind, maybe we should go home after this. I didn't sleep well last night and it looks like these two really do want to get to know each other. I'm sorry I'm a little on the testy side today." he said.

Wind smiles to Flower, as if to say 'see, it all works out', "All right. That will give Flower the time to do those edits to the tunic she wants to do for the indian costume. It will be good sewing practice for you..."

Flower pouts a little, her attempt, through Wind's story telling, to lighten the mood again failed, and now everybody's so quiet. She hurries up and finishes first, then puts the money for her food down on the table, "I'm going to go for a walk."
She climbs over Cy to get out of the booth and heads out the door. She really can't stand sour atmospheres like that. Wind was probably more shocked she stayed as long as she did than that she left.

"She's coming back. I wouldn't go after her, if I was you," Wind says calmly, "She really hates depressing atmospheres, so she's going to go cheer herself up. Besides, it's because of you two bickering that everything got that way, so just letting her have some time to herself would be better."

"Definitely not. I use to cause her to go for walks once or twice a day back in the vale, and she doesn't hate me. She's just annoyed with you both at the moment. She'll probably be fine by the time she gets back. That's why she goes when she feels this way, so she doesn't make things worse, or say anything she'd regret later."

Wind smiles and resumes eating his food. It looks like when Flower returns, the atmosphere will all ready be improved.
Outside, Poe nuzzles Flower to cheer her up as she walks down the street, looking at the wares of various street vendors, even though she isn't really all that interested.

"Sure. Especially since leaving them alone means we get to be alone together as well, right?" He grins down at his bard.
Flower buys a cheap black and blue bead choker she finds, since it's pretty and it will go good with her costume, then decides it's probably been long enough and starts to meander back in the direction of the restaurant.
