A snap of the reins and DeArca's wagon was pulled along the pathway. Sitting quietly in his perch, DeArca was watching wonderously at the lands surrounding him. It was quite impressive to see such a beautiful sight. But perhaps it was better in the Twiggle Forest...a place he could only view from its outside rather than in, becaise of the stories that kept people out. He stopped Marco with a tug of the reins and then jumped down. Ash peeked out of his pocket, giving a soft squeak. Seeing the others chatting, he wondered if it was alright to see them. But no...perhaps it wasn't his place to speak to the others while they were enjoying themselves...especially Lorelei.

Heather nodded at the guy and watched as Kala went off for a bit. She was obviously feeling restless.

She took the children not far away and put them on the ground to play with each other. She was watching Lor go, slightly worried. She didn't know what was going on, but well, she could worry about things that might not exist.

Amkia happily chuckled and things with Vanna but slowly stopped. He tilted his head to one side and poked her curiously. She seemed to not be playing like she normally would.

Leshya'e nodded to Trabor and then followed his glance down to Anezka. The girl laughed as he moved his tail, then looked at his other markings. She was about to ask if she could touch his tail, but pasued and tilted her head again, "What?...so...you're...like me?...You were a fortunette?" Anezka's eyes went wide as she looked up at the man.

"Well... of course, little one. Did you think you and your caravan family were all alone in the world?" Trabor gave Lesh a surprised look. "You really haven't come across any other gypsies, have you?"

Lor smiled at her as she wandered off a little, then turned back to Leax. The entrancing... spell that wound around her left her mostly oblivious to all the other commotion - the owl, Annjette's new-found power, Stefan's return. Her eyes focused back on Leax, and she smiled.

"I do think I'll consider it..."

Vanna, meanwhile, adjusted uneasily to being separated from Leax. She squirmed, playing with Amkia only halfheartedly. Something seemed to be.... different in the air, now that she was further away.

"Oh, what wonderful words," Leax breathed as he led her up the steps to his wagon. "Welcome to Allegro. My home within a home." It was a typical gypsy wagon: decorated with many wonderful things that he'd obtained in his travels- and yet remembering to pay homage to his family and his past- upon the windowless wall, one large painting of a Siren- his mother.
"Come, Lorelei. Sit, we can talk."

"Well, alright..." Em said, feeling somewhat self-conscious as she lifted the red whistle to her lips... and blew a solid breath into it, her eyes steady upon Crick.

The sound that came from the whistle could not be discerned from any other than a meij-hearer... and so, simultaneously, all the Banyas within the two caravans began to scream and call and be rather distressed with the call to the meij. Soon, a few would take their displeasure... and turn them into fortunes.

But one creature heard the call and was not distressed- but rather, it yawned itself awake and flapped out from beneath the eaves of an older wagon near the back of Esperita's caravan. It flew up to where Crick and Emelyn stood, and landed atop Daggerheld with a blink of its eyes.

It was a Harkcall Owl, and it had responded to the call for a familiar. It woul stay with Emelyn and her family, and Hark the Calls of the Meij.

"Oh my... erm..." Emelyn's eyes were attached to the form that had taken up residence atop Daggerheld, only jerking her attention back down to Crick to ask incredulously, "Is he... going to... erm... stay there?"

"Oh, I've been with this caravan since birth- I'm one of the few who didn't come to the gypsy lifestyle from another life." But as to the question of a child, Kidra seemed... downcast, somewhat. "No, I'm afraid I've never been blessed with a Fortunette. I was the caretaker to a child for a while, but... it wasn't meant to be. He's not with me, anymore." Her eyes alit on the now seemingly distant speck of Stefan, where Valelldia and Silver welcomed him home. "Even if it wasn't meant to be... it still hurts, to have a child taken away."
Gwynna nodded. "I'm new to Valelldia's caravan, but certainly not to the gypsy lifestyle." She thought for a moment and laughed. "Although I supposed I'm not really new anymore; I've been with the caravan for nearly a year now."

Kidra's final remark provoked a sudden about-face in Gwynna's expression and stance. She seemed to curl in on herself, only staying upright so as not to disturb Nusa. "Yes," Gwynna said quietly. "Losing a child is.." Words failed her. How could she possibly describe the despair, anger, loneliness, and crushing sadness? "It's something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy," Gwynna finished, green eyes bright.

"No...and definately not others like our group." Leshya'e responded. Anezka was far too enthralled with Trabor to say anything. She stepped closer to him and then walked around him, examining him. She was normally a bit shy around new people, but this man seemed to her like a big brother to her, so she quickly lost her zone of comfort.

Pan looked through Ceres, still in a daze. Part of her came to consciousness, "Who... are you? Who are these people?" Pan questioned looking around. She wondered about the question. No she had not been feeling well at all lately, something was upon her and it weighed greatly. It was far more worse then the small flu she had caught when Pandara first joined the caravan.

"I... I... am not really feeling myself" Pan admitted. "I will... be fine." Her speach was slow and hard to form as if she had trouble staying in a conscious and aware realm.

Lor stared at the painting for a moment, blinking. She couldn't quite realize what the painting was of - magical creatures were not her strong point - but something niggled at the back of her brain. Pulling her attention only reluctantly from the painting, she turned back to Leax as she sought a place to sit.

"It's a little larger, and a lot less dusty, than my Ivy-twined," she said, smiling. "It's very nice."

Vanna looked at Amkia, then at the wagon where her mother had gone. She pouted a little, then shrugged, knowing her mother would return to her soon. THe little martin crawled over to Amkia and attacked him with tickles, giggling.

Amkia giggled and chuckled, he was happy vanna was playing with him again, that was how he liked it! He was glowing again, his golden light surrounding him. He really was Heathers angel.

Green eyes watched the two little ones playing, shifting her claws slightly she snarled, she didn't like her brother, maybe she was jealous, either way, Kala wasn't happy.

Kidra heard the sorrow, and how deeply embedded it was in Gwynna's words. She put a comforting hand out, resting it on the gypsy's arm. "I'm sorry, semita. For anyone, losing a child is such a tear to the soul- but for a gypsy... it can destroy us." Her eyes alit upon Stefan, and she thought... how far away he seemed. "They are our future, and our past. What can exist without the two?"

Trabor laughed, putting his arms slightly out to his side and standing his tail at attention for the little rabbit-girl to examine him.

"Look away, little one. There's not much cheetah left in me- just enough to make me... quick." He laughed again, and winked at Leshya'e.

"So, then you should seek out our sister-caravan to the south. ...They are our friends, actually, but we have many friends and relatives that travel in the wagon. Especially for the sake of the little one's wings- you should seek out Orrel. If you're seeking the TriRune, that is."

Cerces looked nearly as puzzled as the dazed Pan did.

"Um... well... I'm Cerces- I'm in the HoneyBlosson Caravan..." she made to point behind her- but because she was focused on the disheveled satyr, it ended up half-pointing into the sky, as if to pinpoint her home as being in the clouds.

"And these people are all part of our caravans. Yours and mine. ...You are a part of this caravan, aren't you?"

((^_^ Hey- everyone is currently occupied, I think- so you'll have to rp with someone from this side of the caravan, or join a pair- someone from this and someone from HoneyBlossom.))

Leax laughed, and as he spoke, dug through a trunk for something. "Well, my sister always pesters me if it's not clean as a whistle. Ah, here we are." He came up with a bottle of RoseHip Cordial- that sweet, syrupy drink that was just as good warm as it was cold. He sat atop the trunk, and uncorked the bottle. "..Although, really, I don't know if whistle is all that clean in the first place." He laughed again, and stuck the cork between two of his fingers while he poured the two of them a drink.
