She rubbed his hand with her thumb and just kept the smile. "You laughing because you like the idea or because you think it's rediculous?" Bron just sat back in his chair and mumbled under his breath. "Hopefully because of the second reason."

Mari kissed him and pulled away, keeping her eyes on his. "If anything, it's already like we're married. This cermony just seems to make it official and I would like very much to have it. But it's a two-way thing. If you don't want it, then it's you're right to say something. It's easy to make compromises."

She smiled and nodded. "I want to do this with you too. You're the only person in the world I would want to be with forever." Bron smiled as he looked at them and listened. He then broke in to say something. "It doesn't have to be extravegant. We can have a small wedding and a small reception." Mari just laughed and looked at him after he said that. "I think it was gonna be a small wedding to begin with. We don't have much for family or friends."

Bron thought it over and leaned back in his chair, folding his hands over his stomach. "It was a surprise to you, though. So you don't even know how she did it."

Mari just held onto his hand and gave a small smile. "Well, it's not like my parents are going to be there. At least we'll have that in common." It somewhat upset her. The father was supposed to walk the bride down the aisle and give her away, but that wouldn't be the case for her. Bron just looked at her and somehow knew what she was thinking. "It's okay, Mari... Me or Maris could walk you down the aisle."

well we may not have our family of our past but we can make our own family. only this time we'll be around for our kids.

Mari looked over at him and smiled as she clenched his hand gently. "Of course. I couldn't imagine leaving my children." Bron looked at them both and smiled. He truely believed they would make good parents. They were both great people.

this will be the generation that'll be different. every man in the smash bloodline had to go through the same torcher as i did and become monsters. only this time i changed my ways and i refuse to put my own son through that, so he can grow up the way all kids should.
