Would it make you feel better if I stated the American dollar price?
$15.50 - 19.50 ... then there are 4.95 shipping costs.
Everyone I looked at (and I didn't look at 'em all) said that they'd ship worldwide.

I was only looking at the 'Buy Now' options... Bidding is too risky, too easy to get outdone at the last sec. lol

Yea, bidding is super risky. I remember being disappointed so many times. They make you think you're on top of the world until the last 2 minutes of the auction. Of course, I'm usually offline (Sleeping probably) when they end.

And it doesn't look as bad when you put it in USD. I forgot about the whole currency thing when I read it the first time *doofus* When the books make it to the shelves do they still run around AU20-30? Maybe we can find you a lucky seller close to home who's selling for cheap. Isn't it obvious internet shopping has spoiled me?

lol I've only gone through the internet to buy a few times. I'd rather go down to the store in person. Internet shopping just makes one more of a recluse if they're big into gaming and reading. 'Aaargh, natural light! get it off me get it off me!'

But... it depends on the book when it comes to price.
Hardcover - AU$45-50
Big Paperback (I hate these things) - AU$30-35
Standard Paperback - AU$15-25

I try and avoid Hardcovers if I can. And, those prices up on eBay, all Hardcover.
Some Australians have started putting up copies now. Last I saw there were two.

This book better be worth waiting for, that's all I'm saying. lol

I think it was the 12th here but I forget. I still haven't started reading. I keep telling myself to save it since it'll be another year until the next one and time in the Merry series moves like molasses. The last book covered what? Two whole days? There's so much to look forward to and I'm far too curious. It's like watching the season finale of your favorite show.

And I too hate big paperbacks. I don't see the point behind their existance.

Keep your will strong...I read mine right away but then I'll just read it again a couple times at some later point. But yeah the books don't actually cover much a time frame individually, do they?

I think that Frost is too pouty also. I also love Doyle and Sholto. Barinthus is pretty likeable too. The new guards are very intriging to me, I can't wait for more info o them. heart

I loved a Stroke of Midnight!!!!! I love that the last few books are only covering a couple of days! So much happens in such a short period of time. It reminds me of the early Anita Blake books. Everytime you turned a page, something new and unexpected was happening.

At least all the sex and all the men have a purpose behind it. With Anita its a side effect or a symptom, that has no real purpose except to bore me.

Well, I finally decided to get on the band wagon and read the Fey series. Needless to say I loved it. Its very diffrent from the Anita series because you know that there will be bukos amounts of sex in them. Now I cant wait for the next book in both series.

I've read things here where people are complaining about the amount of sex in the Meredith series. And quite frankly their complaining is bothering me just a little bit. stressed sweatdrop
I mean by the first book, you know that there is gonna be lots of sex, so if you didn't like the first one, DON't KEEP READING THE SERIES and then complain to everyone! I personally think that there is lots of plots, many subplots, subtext and mysteries throughout to which you are given clues. If all you see in the books is sex then that is obviously what you brought to the book to make your interpretation (we each see something different based on our own experiences). wink
Just wanted to say that. No offense to anyone. heart
