-I live in Gerogia
-I'm 14 (bday on Monday)
-Guilty Pleasures was great. Anita was the strong, female that batted away the bad boys, still had a fascination with them, and killed the bad guys,(not boys) laugh-'til-you-had-a-seizure type of book. Now, it has turned into...a bunch of crap...
I wish Mrs. Hamilton will revert back to leather jackets trying to hide gun holsters, rather revealing top/lingerie, and other...stuff.
I have one cat....
I find Jean-Claude sexy like crazy, and the others are ok...I find a fascination for Micah, and Nathaniel, though, I'd love Richard, if he'd stop being a ~!@#$ and suck it the ~!@#$% up.

Lawl.
I'm Rayne, apparently, and I'm 27. I don't know how long I've been reading them, but I know WHY I read them. It's all Annadora's fault. I admit, that's a nasty accusation to make, but it's only so very true. It's her fault I love those characters.
Though, I'll admit that I like Anne Rice's novels MUCH more than Laurell's, the characters are still wonderful in the Anita Blake series. Laurell likes to put her characters through hell and roll them around in the fires a bit before spitting them back out on earth. I like to do it to my characters as well, but I think I'm more brutal. Perhaps that is why I'm drawn to the books.

Good Morning All! I am Lady Dracoterreus(shorten it however you want), 26, and currently residing in NW Florida. Been reading these books for who knows how many years (not me that's for sure wink ). I'm going to blame my involvement on my mother. She gave me the first one. Now she yells at me when I send her the newest one. I'm so addicted I pre-order them. Can't wait for Danse Macabre and Micah to come out this spring.
I think ID was awsome and necessary for everyone to get themselves straightened out so the storyline could move on. I love Edward, Micah is great, and if Richard would get his head out of his arse he would be wonderful.

Hello Everyone !!! I'm Dolores but you can call me Doe-Doe if you like smile I'm 39 and a single mother of 5 kids ( 19-f; 18-f; 15-f;13-m;6-f) I also work as an asst.mgr for a plus size women's store here in Washington State. I picked upmy first Anita Blake book about a year ago when my former neighbor had me read the Meredith Gentry books. I read all 3 in about 4 days and was so hooked I wanted the Blake books too !! I read all of them in a 5 week period and was reading on averge 2-3 books a week. My oldest is just as hooked and she just finished the latest Gentry book. So now I owe her 2 manga's for reading 4 of my books. I'm a die hard reader and love to read most anything. It's only this last year that I branched out into reading Fantasy/Sci-fi just to have something of interest to keep my busy !!! Well I'm off to bed so I can work a 12hr shift in the morning !! Nice to meet everyone and have a GREAT DAY !!!! 4laugh

i have 2 cats, 1 dog, and a turtle.
i am a barnes n nobles-holic. i came accross Hamiltons work when i wanted to expand my horizons with different authors n such staying within the genre though. however i do fancy a romance now n then. i discovered her work when i was lookin for the sequel to The Awakening by L.A. Banks when i found Narcissus in chains. i totally couldnt resist n i bought it without hesitation. now im reading Cerulean Sins n hopefully i'll b able to bac track to find out wah all i missed before my first read. oh yea, i started readin her work a couple months ago.

hullo i am 19 and i have just recently started reading the series i am currently on obsidian butterfly... my best friend bought me the first book and i bought the rest.. >.< i love anita she is my role model representin the 5'3 people out there. jean claude is my wet dream... redface and strangely i love edward too. (maybe not for looks) but he seems like a fun psychopath to hang around with.

Hello!
I'm Natasha. I originally found Laurell's Anita book, Killing Dance in the *gasp* school library, and once i read it, i couldn't get enough. I bought the others, and have been hopelessly (but not sadly) hooked since. I was writing stories with a Meridith character as my protagonist, and my huband pointed out that Laurell had a new book, about a Meredith. Similar spelling and such. So i checked it out, and i fell onto that bandwagon as well.
I have a husband, who reads the series, but is not as avid, and a two and a half year old. I have a black moor goldfish, named Eclipse, and spend (in my opinion) way too much time working and not enought with the rest of my life.
I apologize for any clumped words, as my space bar is seeking revenge for my spilling something on it in a previous time.

Hey everybody!
My name is Winona and i just started reading the Anita Blake books. I love them! I started with The Lunatic Cafe because i saw it on the shelf at the library and it looked good. I have been hooked since.
Oh, yeah about me...
I'm 16 and live in northern maine. (as if anyone even knows where that is! rolleyes ) I love all animals, especially cats and wolves. I know some japanese and do pretty much nothing but read. I feel lost when i do not have a book. Hope to meet lots of people that love anita as much as i do!

Hi.. I think I am the newest one here
I'm Crystal I'm 22 and I have loved Anita Blake for a few years now, I have read everything on her, and just picked up Incubus Dreams yesterday.. I have about 100 pages to go before I finish it smile
I use to be on a Live Journal rp of anita Blake where I played a made up character named Adayn, she was a pyro Kentic... it was a lot of fun but adly no one kept up with the comunity.
So I am happy to be here among the Anita Blake Obsessed heart

Hello, my name is Brittany (uephemism= Bethany Shiver) and I will soon be turning fifteen. I have always been interested in mythology as well as supernatural creatures and the like. Currently two of my favorite authors are Laurell K. Hamilton and Charlaine Harris (author of the Southern Vampire series). Anita Blake is one of my favorite characters thus far. I am involved in all of the arts.

Hello! My name is Jess. Im 22 from Kansas City. I first got introduced to Anite Blake at the opening of the Harry Potter 6th book. A woman I never met stroke up a conversation with me about books. I told her I loved vampires and she directed me to Laurell k. hamilton. I have not been able to put them down. I even started her other series about fairies.

Hello there.. I'm Bekka, am 14 (15 in January), and got introduced to the Anita Blake series about two years ago. So far I've shoved it on about 4 people and two of those people are also hooked. xd
