Mr.Ownage Nathan laughs. "I imagine it would be a bit much with the background of a sunset. The red, dark light might make it a little creepier than it already is. I'd hate to give you nightmares." Lael grins. "It's pretty hard to give me nightmares now a days. Not after all I've seen." She looks out at the sunset. "It's beautiful, isn't it? I love sunsets. Now that I think of it, Darian was pop the question at sunset. I hope I didn't miss it." ((Again, sorry I've been gone so long. My computer is completely dead now and I'm not sure when I'll be able to be on again. gonk ))

"Just a bit busy.... Maybe you woke my inner inertia or something like that," the redheaded Mystic laughs as she lays her head against his chest and closes her eyes, "That's alright with me, though."
A bit later, Kitara looks up and chirps something to Jay. He nods and tells his daughter to come out of the tent. He then changes to his bluejay form before heading back to the beachside. The blue haired elvish lady turns to her cousin and cousin's fiance.
"It's supper time. What would you two like: a brat, a hotdog, or a potpie?"

Darian affectionatly brushes his hand across Margem's face. Kitara's question surprises him. "I'll have a hot dog. One second thought, I'm thinking I'd better have two."

Margem nods a bit, "Could I have a brat as well as a hotdog? That would be wonderful. Thank you, Kitara."
The elf nods, making two plates for them, "Do you want rice or baked beans?"
The redhead laughs, "Rice would be fine with me. No beans, please, nor for him I'm guessing."
Kitara stiffles a laugh, "Understandable. I'm going to make sure that Jay doesn't get any, trust me. If he did have any, I'd make him sleep outside the tent tonight."
((OOC: Are you serious? ...but you know what they are, right? ....and for the rice/bean thing, I had to put it in. xp ))

The bluehaired elf laughs, "Oh, so many stories. Like that one time where you and Jay ended up in a camp full of warriors, without your weapons as you were playing. That's a classic, making thirty full-grown men collapse because of your lunch: beans and biscuits."
Margem laughs as she stands up to get their plates. She hands one plate to Darian as she takes a seat near him.
"Kudos to the chef, Kitara!" she says after a bit of the rice, "It's excellent! And the flavoring: so wonderful that you'll have to give me the recipe, whether or not Darian likes it."

Darian cannot help but chuckle. "I completely forgot about that one. I bet they were glad to be rid of us when they woke up and saw we'd escaped." he bites into his hot dog and sallows the bite before saying. "I see you changed the old family recipe a little. Pretty good if I do say so myself, which I just did."

Kitara smiles, making a plate for Trea, "Yeh, Jay didn't like it as much and I thought it could use a bit different seasoning. So, I changed the amount of the spices, more of this and less of that, taste-testing as I went along with it, to make it as it is."
Margem nods, saying, "Sounds interesting. You're going to have to tell me what you tried and what you didn't try, Kitara. I'd like to see how you changed it, and what it was in the first place."

Lael arrives with Nathan. She grinns when she sees Darian and Margem together. "So you did ask. Congrats! I wish you would have waited for me though. I would have liked to have seen it." Smelling the food she says, "Something smells delicious! Would any of you mind if I stole some of your food? I'm afraid that my cooking skills are lacking."

Jay, after telling Lael and Nathan that it was time to eat, flies around the campground. There are a few other people on the grounds, though not many. He notices someone down by the docks so he lands a ways from the dock, changes to his elvish form and approaches the tawny haired being. He clears his throat to make his presence known.
Kitara laughs, "There is enough for all to eat, even with seconds and thirds. Don't worry."
She hands her daughter the plate before picking up more plates.
"Would you like rice or baked beans? Also, brats, hotdogs or potpies? All homemade."
((OOC: *ish huggled* You're quite welcome, Lael! I miss having you around. Helps liven it up a bit more! xp biggrin ))
