Vermillion left the empty room heading up to see the supreme commander himself, because he was going to need their help in the coming conflict. As he turned into the hallway he saw marta waiting outside the door flanked by two guards. Vermillion smiled inwardly, for a futrue queen she was showing much patience, because if the roles were reversed the door would be laying on the ground.
Vermillion halted a hands length from Marta and turned to the guards. "I need to see the commander immediately, and I do have an appointment"
The guards laughed; "Your funny dragon, he doesn't make appointments, not to mention he left instruction that he is busy, and is not to be disturbed by the likes of you."
Vermillion bowed his head enough to hide his eyes and shook it slightly. "Then maybe your commander bows to the likes of Loas, and is busy washing the blood of his former queen off the sword hilt."
The guards pointed their spears at Vermillion's throat. "How dare you make such insulting accusations, we should throw you out of the palace for making such words, and banish the notion of ever seeking peace with Esperanza."
Vermillion looked up his eyes showing he was not fooling around no more. "I suggest you go tell him, or you will make and excellant battering ram to open it myself. If he refuses me after you ask, then I will go without another word."
The one closest to the door pulled his spear up and opened the door stepping inside, the other moved over to a postion where he placed his spear at throat level, but centered between Vermillion and Marta.
"Try anything dragon and I assure you one thing in this world, you will be leaving it, and i will have wealth from your corspe."
Vermillion bit his tongue, but never let his eyes wander from the guards. He wanted to see how long such bravery lasted in these men, because it would be tested much more strongly in the coming days.

Marta acted like she didnt hear any of this she didnt want them to think she was acting suspious. she folded her hands infront of her as she waited for the guard to come back with an answer from the commander. she was getting bored she had asked them to tell him she was back but they never went in and told him so she just waited, till he was ready to hear if she was willing to be his puppet.

Myran had been in the confines of her small room when Kytranae departed for the castle. Both had been unaware of the happenings, but now since the Drow female returned the two stood in shocked silence. The young mage sunk into the chair behind her, and sighed deeply. The news was very unnerving, but shoving aside the surprise of it all, Myran's mind was setting to work how such a horrible thing could happen.
Her hair came down in cascading layers of brown and blonde compimenting her lovely dark eyes. Her attire consisted of a black and white corset which matched her single wide sleeve. A leather belt hugged her petite waist, containing various pouches of sorts, sitting beneath this was a skirt, the front being rather short and the back being long, extending to her ankles. Soft boots rose to her knees, plain and rather worn out. But though her appearance was rather deceiving-for she had no true wizardly robes- Myran was skilled and often she quickly gained the upper hand due to their underestimating. She was a pretty little thing, innocent looking but fierce...
Surely scrying spells might give her some indication of the whereabouts of the said dead queen. But... there were others who knew the Art, likely more skilled then she due to her young age, she doubted it would work and discarded that idea. They had not inhabited the Pearle Kingdom long but the two had grown to adore it. Now that something sinister was at work, they would banish it. But it was more then that... the call of adventure tugged at their souls, and they would heed it.

The guard came back and left the door open. "He'll see you both now, and I warn you now dragon to watch that tongue of yours."
The guard moved tot he side of the door, and the other backed off and took his post as well. Vermillion moved forward into the room, the commander sat with a bad mood on his face, Vermillion made his to match, this made the commander scowl even worse. Vermillion waited for the door to close after Marta entered to begin his onslught on the commander.

(Um hi, i'm here because someone, I assume it was spoof, contacted me and told me to post. The only problem is I don't know where to begin so i'll just put my character here out of the way, and if I mess up anything please feel free to yell at me so I can fix it. Its not much of a post since I don't know what I should do but its something. From the little bit i've read I assume we are in a castle so i'll make my post there, but please correct me if I'm wrong.)
Ronan wandered through the hallways. He had recently been signed to guard this castle and was now lost. He wasn't very happy about this, and he wasn't sure that he was supposed to be in this part of the castle anyway. He walked around a corner and quickly, ducked back stifling a curse. A guard had just walked up and granted an audience with two people. From his tone of voice Ronan decided that he definately did not need to be in this part of the castle. He turned to go the otherway, but saw some servants turning the corner, and begining to walk his way. He cursed under his breath and tried to push himself as far against the wall and out of sight as possible.

Marta sat down in a second chair and listened to Vermillion attack the commander with his words her hands were folded in her lap, and she stared at a spot on the commanders desk just infront of where his hands were resting. she didnt want to look into his face due to the fact that he was looking foul.

The commander finally had enough of the staring match between them and opened up with a sneering question. "What do you want, can't you see I have more important things to do then entertain your weak kingdom."
Vermillion laughed for a bit which seemed to insult the commander further, a guard went to move towards vermillion, but the commader was quick to put up his hand to stop the intrusion. The guard returned to where he was, and vermillion got ahold of himself speaking rather amused towards the commander.
"Weak best describes your situation commander, Loas is returning by the help of a loyal servant, and their is evidence to support it. My kingdom would stand the best chance under Esperanza's lead, or on its own for that matter. It laughable that you call us weak while you stand alone in your own kingdom grasping on the few strands of power you have left. I'll make it quick, there is to be a meeting at the old temple ruins, the same ruins no army between these two kingdoms ever occupy, and I want you to be there. Your going to hear them out, and your going to hear me out when I present the evidence. Then the decsions to be made are clear, IF Loas returns it will take the world in unity to send him back to the depths of hell where he belongs, but if we stand divided he will feed of the hatred of those who do nothing."
The commander held his hand up to speak, vermillion kindly halted to give him the chance, but rehearsed what else he had to stay next in the meantime.
"I not as weak as you seem to point out, i do control all the military forces in this kingdom, and at this moment i've also got royal power of state. A simple order could have you outsted in a matter of minutes, and barred ever from returning under penalty of death. As to going to the ruins, I have no time for that, running this country is hard enough, and that woman beside you has caused enough damage in the people that i must remain here. You speak as if Loas is returning yet he hasn't, If he had we wouldn't be having such a long winded discussion about fates of kingdoms and who stands where in the political alliances...."
Vermillion leaned forward slamming his two hands hard onto the desk top making it rattle everything. "FIND THE TIME, because what damage Marta has done is ilreperalbe, and like a terminal disease spells the end of your reign over this country. That is why you offered her the throne isn't it? So quit making excuses for things out of your control, and do what is best for your people in going tot he ruins to talk."
The cmmander cut back quickly; "I will not go, and your time is up!"
Vermillion balled his fists on the desktop; "Idot, your narrow mindedness is going to kill you, so caught up in your thirst for power that you never see the knife that is coming for your back. Fine, you give up that chair to a new queen, somebody who is smart enough to listen, and care about the lives of the people who serve her and You. That so called control of your military is based on public viewpoint since in fact every soldier was once a child growing up outside of that discipline, and left it to return again to the life of a commoner. You anger the masses with your stupidity your own men will turn on you rather then die sharing in your idealogical stupidity."
The commander waived the soliders forward to remove Vermillon. Vermillion closed his mouth his next assalut dying in the face of violence approaching. They drew their swords and pointed them at Vermillion; "The commander told you to leave, I suggest you do so, because even a good diplomat is never heard dead." Vermillion scoffed at their remarks; "Your assuming that you can even hurt me with those pampered knives that dull at the first sign of real combat."
"What do you know of combat, your just a hot headed diplomat!" The commader shot out rahter harshly. "kill him where he stands."
Vermillion stood up straight and turned his head to look at the guard to his right, he exhaled at the guard, and made no further motion as both guards finally got their wits back. Vermillion stared a tthe commander as the guard on the right stopped, he began tugging at his collar undoing the fastners to his armor.
The guard began sweating as he shead most of his outer armor, he was down to his first layer of clothing, and his sword was waviering with the increased resperation. About a minute after vermillion breathed on him he dropped his sword clutching at his side.
"What the hell did you do to me dragon?" He shot out as his sweat evaperated off and his skin begant o turn a darker red all over his body.
Vermillion kept his eyes on the commander, the commader divided his attention between vermillon and his aide who was suffering.
Vermillion replied; "You are going to die, you have past the point of no return, and nothing I do now is going to change your fate. You took and order to kill me, i have a extreme will to persevere, and you lost to a more experienced combatant who needent not touch his foe to kill it."
The guard began exhaling smoke, and crying out in pain from being burned. Fire erupted from his mouth and his screams died out as his vocal cords were fused and then severed. Only a frantic gurgling was heard as the body began to blister all over, the skin turned black and caught fire. The body collasped in a heap of burning melting flesh that had a nuseating smell.
The commader looked at Vermillon; "You might be able to kill one, but i have 5 others that can attack you simeltaneously. You can't possbilty kill them all before they kill you!"
Vermillion looked at the rest of the guards; "This one paid the price for his commanders stupidity, are you so willing to die in the same way, that was the slow and painful method, but I can make it much faster for everyone else who plans on taking a step forward to make a attempt at my life."
The rest of the guards looked at their commander, and the commander was silently infuriated. "What do want dragon?!"
"You will show up at the ruins, and this lady here takes over as queen without any terms to you. She will accompany you to the ruins as well, and you will obey her without question."
The commander stood up and shouted at Vermillion; "Are you askign me to just set back and watch as everything I gained is given away!"
Vermillion moved towards the door unhindered; "i expect you to remember you station in this kingdom and never stray from it again, because the moment the queen informs me your starting to rise again. You will be burned to death from the inside out, much more slowly then your guard, and that is not a mere threat for I make it a promise to the new queen in our midist."
Vermillion exited the room and closed the door behind him. His use of violence to provokie change rubbed him hard the wrong way, but it was the only thing that commander understood. It saddened him to see people so narrow minded on power.

Arkayid tore through the compound that held the diplomats. He felt hunted, and he had every right to be. He had covertly watched the resurrection of Laos, and reached the door as Vermillion left the room.
"Vermillion! Laos -- He... He's back! Sibel did it! I couldn't stop it at all. I had simply hid and watched everything. Thank the gods he didn't notice me! I left right after that, I haven't slept and just about every village I passed has been burned to the ground..." Arkayid's eyes held the vision of ruined visions, of corpses that were no more then pieces of meat, of ash that had been created from the lives of innocents. That, and a shine of fatigue shown through the fear as well.
Arkayid's armor was also blood stained, its normal black enamel paint was no longer shiny, but had a blood red tint to it.
"I did what I could... Which was... not enough." Arkayid really had never seen carnage on this scale, and his fragile fifteen year old mine was struggling to cope with this.

The commander stared at the cold surface of his desk, all the light in his eyes was gone, as if his dreams were stolen from him in the blink of an eye. Washed aside in a flash flood of politics that no solider could prepare for, and hence why he struggled so hard previously in his attempts. He was a solider, telling other soliders what to do, and relying on discipline of training to see things done his way.
He looked up at Marta; "Your Magiesty deserves no better then her quarters of state, I will personally escort you as my first duty to my new queen, and humbly beg forgiveness with my life for my sins towards you."
---------------------
Vermillion looked at Arkayid; "You did what you could Arkayid, do not chastise yourself for what others have blindly turned their eyes from. I myself ingored the signs till it was too late, and was conviently placed out of the way by Sibels craftyness here to be of any use to my kingdom and that of my high queen of esperanza.
What is worse Arkayid is that King toleranth is dead now, and his latern of hope no longer fights the darkness."
Vermillion turned his body to be squared with Arkayid's; "I offer my rooms services for lodging and clensing, and while you rest I'll see to you clothing and armor. I thank you for bringing me word of this, and I have a few more simple questions for you once you've rested."

Arkayid stared at Vermillion as though he had grown six heads. "Rest? Rest? I can't sleep anymore. This is..." Arkayid looked up at the sky for a second and then looked back at him. "Day five, night four without sleep. I've tried, and I'l l see are the dead eyes of the innocent asking why I wasn't there, stopping what was going on... I can't answer them now, and I cant't answetr them in my sleep..." Arkayid started to silently cry, as his self control faded and died.
He wiped his face with a blood-stained forearm, leaving a dried rust color smear on his face. "You might as well as ask you your questions. I'm not going anywhere."

Marta stood up strait and looked down at him her face held the same expression that the queen use to have when sitting in the throne room listening to the charges against a man "if you would show me to my room I would like all the men that i healed earlier today to meet me in my Parlor, I have matters of import to speak with them ....also I want you to send a small detachment of men into the outer villiages to check up on things... the bandits are more then likely taking the news of her magiesty's death as a reason to plunder..." she folded her hands in front of her. she hadent forgiven him yet but if he did what she asked with out falter she would be more inclined to not lock him up "also where would i be with out the surpreme commander of my troops i havent desided your fate but rest asured you will not die by my command" she add as she walked towards the door waiting for him to start moving

The commander showed Marta to the parlor just off the throne room. He bowed and was gone to fetch the men she requested. A maid came in a few minutes later; "Would her magiesty like refreshment?"
-----------------------------------
Vermillion looked at Arkayid; "Due to your genological makeup, i cannot do anything without your consent, since it would be of the extreme nature, but my first question is about Nadira. Was she involved in the transgression in the temple?"

Marta looked up at the girl and smiled her hands were folded in her lap gracefully "yes i would like some juice...." she sighed when the girl left her alone. looking around the room as she waited she noticed the way the room was designed, spotting a hidden door she stood up and walked to it siently she heard the scamering of feet, and was instantly angry as she swung the door open, she found a few maids who were evesdropping "is this how you treat your queen by listening in on her conversations" she said and the maids ran out of the room not looking saddened at all. leaving the secret door open she went and sat back down and waited with infinite paience.

"Transgression, at the temple? No. She was never there." Arkayid squatted after this, fluttering his wings and readjusting Mishizuri. "Jadeira was there, along with some miscellaneous minions of Laos, and Sibel as well. More importantly, Jadeira was the key to the spell that pierced the veil between the dead and the living. Something was forcibly fed to her and that was that. Sible did something, I didn't intercept the spell, and then, the veil was ripped open."
