Thank you hypnocrown for the suggestion about the prizes. No, honestly I haven't thought of that lol. I mean we dont' have many members. But the ones we do are friends who are making an extreme effort to stay active which due to low funds right now, they are being rewarded by promotions.

Of course! And you are welcome! But if you are low on funds, perhaps you can give away items instead of gold like, those that aren't very expensive. For example, save copies of those free items you get when they are given away for free. I always try to save some of the ones you get in events so by the time the event is over, they go up in price and they can be worthwhile prizes. You know?
That's great Jasta! I usually try to keep the forums tidy and delete any threads that become stale. Mel usually deletes more threads than I do though... mrgreen

Umm, well, I'm afraid I don't have much time for the ones I am currently in (In fact, there's one I don't check anymore cuz it died) so, if I had to join another one, I wouldn't be very active in any of the ones I'm in. Sorry...

My idea was a picture thread in the galleries of pictures that other writers can use it can be of ships, landscapes, houses fantasy anything. Like landscapes can be one thread, ships another, stuff like that

Feel free to start a thread like that in the Theatre & Galleries Suma.
And we have a chatterbox area. It's The Village.
I don't want random spam being spouted in my guild full stop.
I won't allow "fdsglhsghgk" and "bump" and "haha, I'm just being silly" or "la la la I'm bored". I don't want to see that kind of crap in my guild. The Village is otherwise for idle random chatter about absolutely anything.

Like Mel said, there are lots of random threads at "The Village" sub-forum and if there isn't one that suits you, you can always start one! wink
I agree with Mel on the "bump" stuff and alike. It can get annoying after some time. I'm in 2 guilds where they have a thread just for bumping and, not even that has saved those guilds from being on life support.

There's a thread called "the library" there, it's mostly for that.

Ah, you see, being called the 'writer's circle' I thought it would just be for people talking about their own original stuff, like the main 'writer's' forums are rolleyes . Maybe I'll go and raise that thread from the grave then...
