(Heh, well I thought it sounded nice Rhodes. wink )
Ksi looked back at the young woman and smiled. Half turning towards her, he spoke freely, but with a soft voice.
In a very real way, yes I am. However, we have many differences as well. I suppose you’re referring to the fact that we’re both Espers.
He can’t help but chuckle and look down at the mention of the term.

Yes, that's it. I've heard him say that word before. You....smell like him for lack of a better word, or idea for that matter.
Pushing herself off the wall she moves to sit two seats away from him.
So what exactly is an Esper? As you seem to be the leader of this little group I'd figure you'd know the best.

Rhodes ((Yeah I kind of figured you would tell me it was wrong. But I really just don't like the way you have the room set up. The whole traditional japanese style rooms don't fit a tavern atmosphere (at least in my opinion) so I changed it up to something I liked. But hey, if you want go ahead and do it like that , I'll just have my char change the room. )) ((I agree that you made a good post, no doubt you have excellent skill in that, it just isn't the right room description for this room. I have no idea what you are talking about that it doesn't fit in to a tavern. That is part of the style of the tavern next thing you know people wil be asking me to take out the tatami and make it wood. Never in the history of running this RP has anyone EVER complained about the rooms. I am actually pretty sad that you don't like it or don't think it fits in. That seems pretty bad to me and I have no idea why you don't like it.)) *Aykon opens the door to the room with Rhodes behind him and steps away to the side. The room has even softer tatami than the rest of the hall leading up to it. If walking out side is like walking on clouds, then this is like walking in heaven. In the middle of the room is a large square bed approximately 3 feet above the ground with wooden steps bulit around it, the bed is approximately the size of a full size bed but is made of a feather white looking tatami.*
*At each corner of the bed there is a small wooden post about a foot square made out of a rich tan looking wood that is uniquely finished with an appearance of lines running from top to bottom. At the foot of the bed is a small chest built into the foor which contains some extra bed clothes and pillows.*
*Directly across from the door on the other side of the bed is a large set of doors leading to a patio, the frame of the door is made of the same high quality, light-colored wood that frames out beautifully etched glass. The glass squares have a beautiful image of a babbling brook with rock facades to the sides of it and a dove flying over head. Each pane has the same image with slight differences in each*
*In the right corner of the room, close to the wall is a simple desk with a sleigh-bottom chair pulled up under it. The desk contains a mirror on the back, a few miscellaneous "get ready" items such as a brush and mouthwash*
*Across to the left, one can see the door to the bathroom. The crowning achievemnt of this room is the large bath tub...or rather spa, the tub is approximately 10 feet in diamter and carved of pure white granite blocks. The fixtures in the tub are that of a woman and her baby, each holding a pot. The woman's pot is under her arm and turned to face the basin and the child's is falling off of his head at the basin. Each figure appears to be about 2 feet tall and etched out of highly polished silver*
*The rest of the facility is realitvely simple with a latrine made out of the ivory, a stand-up sink and mirror and a fine wood floor that comes off of the tatami in the bathroom.*
*Aykon waits for you to look around before he speaks*Will this suffice? I have made a few updates but it is not completely done yet. I hope it suits you.

(I wouldn't worry about it Aykon, probably just a matter of preference, or current mood. Anyway, having the bed in the center of the room is a little odd to me, but that's okay.)
In jest, Ksi takes a causal smell of himself.
Hm, I don’t know…What’s that, little group? Heh, yes, I suppose you could call it that. Ah, an Esper is simply a person who has been enlightened to the ways of reality. We’re an open-minded bunch, who know the difference between what’s real and what’s not. It definitely makes it easier to guide fate.
With a sly smile, he gives her a wink.

((Im sorry Aykon but it is just a preference. But I see you have changed the rooms since last time so I'll leave it be.Also sorry if the posts are a little short, Im busy unpacking and using my boyfriends computer. And it is impossible to pry him away from it for more then a few short minutes.))
*She skims the room marveling at all the amenities. Then turns to Aykon*
"It's nice, thank you for letting me stay here."
*After taking a few steps around the room she yawns. She had been traveling for a long time, and hadn't slept in several days.*

((Ok, I try my best to keep the DarkSeas with its own little flair and spcific style. I am sorry if it isn't exactly what you would like but hopefully it is doable for you. As for time, that's fine, I have been very distant from my computer as I have been recovering from having my wisdom tooth out, lots of drugs and lots of sleepiness.))
*Aykon waits in silence as you do your look around and waits quietly in the door until he is spoken to*
Good then, I am glad you like it and you are welcome for staying here. You might have to start your job by cleaning the hospital up, it has been quite silent for a while so it likely needs to tuning up.
*Aykon listens well as you yawn and he produces a key with "301" engrave on it and hands it to you*
Here is the key, if you are tired, you might want to take a nap.

Scowling at the wink, Red snorted at this. Aykon certainly didn't seem open-minded at times. Not to mention he seemed a little to confident in his own powers, a confidence that she felt might get her killed if she wasn't careful. So she decided to voice this.
Open-minded? I don't know if I would say Aykon was open-minded. Overly confident maybe. An over confidence that could get him killed and a few other people if he's not careful.
The last sentence came out as a gruff mumble as she pushed her chair back from the bar and moved to stand behind it. Taking out two glasses she wiped them down with a towel then set them upon the bar.
However I have seem him do some pretty impressive stuff, even for a light of brain such as himself.
Chuckling to herself she began to take out various bottles of liquid before removing a bottle with a deep red almost black liquid from her jacket, the last ingrediant for her blood wine.
Care for a drink? I can get you whatever.
While waiting for his reply she began mixing up the ingrediants an adible pop being heard as she poured the concoction into her glass and smiled.

*She allows the key to pass into her hand. Then covers her mouth as another yawn escapes. *
"I think I could use a nap Aykon"

Ksi’s eyes narrow a bit from Red’s retort.
Well, I did say we had our difference as well. Besides, I was being cryptic my dear.
He casually reaches out with his left hand and a wine glass smoothly gravitates towards his grasp. He then repeats the maneuver, pulling a wine bottle into his right hand.
I think this’ll be fine.
Popping the cork out of the bottle, he pours himself a glass, and then returns the cork. Sitting the bottle down on the counter, he raises his glass to the young woman, and then take a drink of the finely aged liquid.
You might call us holy warriors, or demon hunters. It’s my duty to ensure Destiny. Aykon, and others like him, help me to do that.
At this point he’s simply staring down into his glass.
What about you though? What do you do?

Shruging her shoulders she takes a sip of her drink and , then licks the red liquid off her lips.
You were being cryptic, and I was being bluntly honest. Opposites attract, or so they say.
Leaning against the back of the bar she doesn't let his manuever phase her, it was easy enough anyway, but she does raise an eyebrow as he seems to silently toast her, and returns a nod in kind.
Holy Warriors....now that's not something I've heard reffered to before. Demon hunters is something I'm a little more familar with, but not everyone would equate the two as the same.
Thinking this over she sets down her drink and sighs, her arms crossing over her chest.
What do I do? I really don't know anymore, right now to be honest I just...wonder. Not much else to it really.
But I have another question for you, you keep mentioning Destiny and Fate, why are those so important?

"Well, some of the Espers may have less tact than I’m accustomed too, but that’s how I like to think of us. We’re definitely not your average demon hunters. Destiny is important to us, because it is God’s will. If we don’t do our job, all will fall into chaos, and eventually nothingness. Our knowledge of our lord’s will, gives us authority over the reality around us. Hence, the holy warrior reference. It doesn’t refer to our personality so much. Having been enlightened, we know of God’s existence, and the truth of this world."
Still looking into his wine, he takes another drink of it.
