"Backsies!" Hikaru declared loudly as she reached the front of the line, breaking her long bout of silence between the water ride and this one. She watched the riders spinning around on the swings, laughing happily as the wind blew past them, and her smile started to return. Forgetting about her worries for the time being, she jumped into line behind Tekishe and waited patiently to be let onto the ride, chewing thoughtfully on her corn dog as she watched.

Terry sneezed and shook the last bit of water from his hair. He was glad to see his friends back to their old selves, at least for the time being. He knew they were all ignoring little things, slights and annoyances, but he wasn't going to voice any of the problems. Their friendship was too new to start arguing over differences. Maybe the problems would go away too. They said that wasn't healthy, but what did they know anyway? No, ignorance was bliss at the moment. He confirmed this by looking at the happy expressions plastered on Hiko and Tekishe's faces.

The group moved their way to the swings and went through the standard motions of any amusement ride. The operator came around and made sure everyone knew how to let the bat sit over their lap before letting the ride go off, rising into the air and spiining the riders, tilting, and then letting them slowly back down, destroying the shoes of the taller riders before coming to a complete stop. Fortunatly the swings were a mild ride, and the corn dog did very little to upset Tekishe's stomach. As they made their way out the exit while avoiding the gazes of the still angry line waiters, he turned to his two friends. "So, anyone up for some games?"
Clenching one fist and bringing it close to him Tekishe's face changed from once again from the standard cheerful mode into that of a someone with a serious mission. "I swear that by the end of the night, I shall own myself an absurdly large stuffed animal, even if it takes all the money I have."
Turning to his frinds he reset his smile. "So should we go?"

Hikaru smiled back at Tekishe, clenching her fist and donning a similarly serious expression of her own.
"Yes! We are on a mission tonight! A mission for stupidly huge stuffed animals!"
She leaned forward, linking arms with Tekishe, fist still clenched in a symbol of joint determination and friendship.

Terry scratched the back of his head and smiled as they exited the swing ride. He trailed behind the two big game hunters and promised himself he'd help them achieve their goals. Should try to get something for El and Alex, too. He thought to himself. They look like they could use some cheering up. Terry followed his friends to the gaming area, the sound of their tennis shoes (and in some cases combat boots) mixing with the tinny carnivale music and echoing off into the night air.

Rayna, Charlie and Kylie were walking around, smiling and chatting once more. They had already ridden the roller coaster, Merry-Go-Round, the swings, and a few other rides. They had gotten kicked off of the Merry-Go-Round, since Charlie had gotten off his plastic pink horse and ran the opposite direction which the ride was spinning. Later on, Kylie had hit him for this. On the swings, Rayna and Charlie sat next to each other as Kylie rode in front, looking back at them and grinning. Rayna smirkled at Charlie, swinging over to him and ramming him in the side as the ride spun faster, causing them to go on a tilt in the air. Charlie grinned, doing the same. They did this for five minutes until Rayna tried reaching Kylie's seat, but was merely inches away from doing so.
Charlie looked over to a certain ride and grinned, grabbing both Kylie's and Rayna's wrists and dragging them over. Rayna looked up to the sign and smile. It was the Bumper Cars. The line was failry small, so they quickly ran into the room. Rayna picked a red car, Kylie picked yellow, and Charlie picked blue. When they got the signal to start, Rayna rammed into Kylie, causing her to yelp in surprise. She then tried hitting Rayna, but she didged it, but only to get hit by Charlie. She then bumped into Charlie, sending him back a bit. Kylie then bumped Rayna, who rammed her into a wall. This went on for a few more moments. Then, Kylie went to send Rayna into the wall, but accidently swerved, hitting a small five year old in a blue car, instead. The child then started to cry, cauing Kylie's eyes to widen. She started to apologixze, but Charlie bumped her, causing her to yelp once more.

Kisa smiled and stroked the hair she had tied up as she looked up. "I agree." She stuck out her tongue at Shepard in a childish way and ran the opposite direction than expected. Kisa jumped into the line for the roller coaster and laughed maniacally.

Shepard rolled his eyes and ran torwards the coaster. He stood right behind Kisa. He smiled as he looked at the thing. " THe ones back at home...are much bigger...and I heard these the bar's sometime open up and you fall out." He said joking around and trying yo scare Kisa a bit. He looked all around the the area looking for other things to do after they finshed the coaster.

Hiro and Yuki had caught sight of the others for a moment, but by the time they'd pushed their way through the crowd to reach them, the little group had already moved on. Yuki closed her eyes as she sat down on a nearby bench. "It's alright, don't worry about it," she murmured. "We're probably just getting in the way of their fun."
Hiro frowned, shoving a hand in his pocket irritably. "But that guy they were with, Tekishe, let his move to the front of the line!"
Yuki shook her head and sighed quietly, but she knew that wasn't the real reason for Hiro's aggrivation. He liked moving in large groups, having many people to talk to. Hiro was pretty much the exact opposite of herself. She frowned and stood, patting off the back of her dress; another sign of her paranoia. "Well, if we move around we'll eventually bump into them, right?" she asked softly.
Hiro's face broke once more into a grin as he grabbed her hand and marched through the crowds. "Yes, we're on a quest to find them!" he exclaimed childishly, causing Yuki to stifle a small laugh with her hand in response.

After a while, Rayna, Kylie, and Charlie got tired and sat on a bench in front of the Merry-Go-Round, eating one giant wad of pink cotton candy. Rayna, next to Kylie, who was in the middle of her and Charlie, leaned back and sighed, smiling. "Today was fun." she told them. Kylie smiled. "It's not over yet." she told her, taking the cotton candy from her hand. Rayna looked at her curiously. "We've gone on most of the rides, already." she said. Kylie smiled, pointing over to a large ride a little bit away from them. "Not that one." she said, smiling. They also looked over to the ride, to find that it was the ferris wheel. They all new the myth of it, causing Kylie to smirk. "COme on!" She said, standing up and grabbing their shirts, causing them to be taken with her.
Rayna was worried for a minute. Her be on the ferris wheel with Charlie? She knew it was a perfect time to express her feelings, but she was very nervous. Being alone with Charlie made her feel that way sometimes. But then relaxed a bit. Kylie would be going, too, right? She smiled as they walked.
Right when they got to the ride, Kylie stopped at the entrance of the ride. SHe smiled a bit to herself, now going into phase two of her plan. She suddenly cluthed her stomach, a painful look on her face. "Ohhhh, my stomach..." she moaned, squinting her eyes shut. Rayna and Charlie quickly went to her aid, worried. "Kylie, are you alright?" she asked, concerned for her friend. Kylie looked up and nodded. "Ye-" she cut herself off, covering her mouth with her hand and running to the trash can, vomitting. Or so Rayna and Charlie thought. Rayna and Charlie looked at each other, concerned. Kylie staggered back to them, clutching her stomach and wiping her chin. "I don't feel good." she whined. Rayna whimpered, patting her on the back. "We don't have to go on the ride, then." Charlie said. Kylie shook her head vigorously. "Noo, you have to go!" she said weakly, giving him sad eyes. "I don't want to ruin the end of the day by making you miss the ride." she said.
Rayna sighed, petting her back. "Are you sure, Kylie?" she asked. Kylie nodded, pointing to the line. "Go!" she said. Rayna sighed, helping her to the bench next to the line. "Ok, then." she said hesitantly. She looked over at Charlie and shrugged. "Let's go, then." she said slowly. As they walked into the line, they waved to Kylie. She waved back, and once they were out of sight, she sighed, leaning back on the bench, smirking. "Phase Two complete." she said, chuckling.

Rayna and Charlie got onto the ride, sitting on opposite sides of each other. The sun was just beginning to set, and the sky was starting to become a light yellow. The ferris wheel started, and the two just sat in silence. Rayna looked out into the sky, gazing at the sun. Charlie looked over, too, but kept glancing at Rayna from time to time. Though she didn't look back, she knew he was, and her heart was pounding a bit.
"Today was fun, wasn't it?" Charlie asked, breaking the silence. Rayna looked over and smiled. "Yeah, it was." she answered, her eyes soft, shimmering in the light. Charlie looked into them, smiling softly. He did like her. A lot. It was close to love, but not quite. But he didn't really want to say anything to her. Well, he did, but he couldn't. 'Maybe this will be the chance to tell her.' he thought to himself.
They talked for a little while when the ferris wheel suddenly came to a halt. Rayna jumped a bit, then laughed weakly. She then noticed that they were on the very top. She looked back at Charlie and smiled a bit nervously. He looked over, also noticing. Rayna looked down in her lap, fiddling with her thumbs. She then looked out into the sunset, gazing at the colors of the sky. The sky now had shades of yellow, orange, pink, purple, and blue, and the sun glared a bright orange as half of it had sank under the horizon. Charlie watched as she looked at the sunset, her ruby red hair blowing a bit in the wind, her eyes sparkling.
'This is it.' he told him self in his mind firmly. He sighed and cleared his throat. "Erm, Rayna..." he started, getting her attention. She looked over at him, smiling softly. "Yes, Charlie?" she asked quietly. The way the light hit her made her look radiant, in his opinion. She twirled a piece of hair between her fingers, still waiting for a reply.
Charlie sighed shakily, running a hand through his light brown, messy hair, standing up to look over at the sunset. "Nice view, isn't it?" he asked. Rayna stood up, too, leaning on the side of the car. "Yeah, it is." she replied. She looked up to him, feeling the butterflies in her stomach. She had so wanted to tell him how she felt; she wanted to pour her heart out to him, but she wasn't sure if she was ready.
They stood there for a minute, until they heard a man shouting from the bottom, "It's okay, we'll get it fixed soon!" Rayna sighed. "Looks like we'll be here for a little while." she said. Charlie nodded. Rayna looked down, turning a bit pink. She once again twirled a piece of hair between her fingers, chewing her lip. Charlie looked down at her, smiling. He then took a deep breath. "Rayna, I..." Charlie started.
Rayna looked up to him, a curious look in her eye. "You what?" she asked, trying to search his eyes. He took a small step towards her. "I...I wanted to say...that..." he stopped, not finding the right words to say. She turned a bit pink, taking a small step towards him as well. "S-say what?" she asked, holding both of her hands in front of her. Charlie took another step towards her, so that he was right in front of her. He lifted his hand and stroked her cheek, which causing her to turn a darker shade of pink. "I just wanted to say..." he said, leaning in. She began to lean in, too. She closed her eyes, her heart beating....
The car jerked, causing her to jump and stagger backwards. Charlie too took a few steps back. The ferris wheel was moving again. Rayna sat down, sighing, fiddling her thumbs in her lap. Charlie sat down across from her, running a hand through his hair again, exhaling.
Once they got off the ride, Kylie was there to greet them at the exit. "Feeling better?" Rayna asked cheerfully. Kylie nodded. "Loads. How was the ride." she asked, grinning. Rayna looked over at Charlie, then back at Kylie. She shrugged. "It was okay. Nothing special." she said. Kylie raised an eyebrow. "Nothing special?" she asked. Charlie nodded. "What, would you think something would happen?" he asked, shoving his hands in his pockets. Kylie began to say something, but shook her head, instead. "No." she said, smiling. "Let's just go."

((heheh, sorry that this is a little late. I didn't realized this was the last post in our lil story))
'Poor Makie... and poor Misty...' Max thought to himself. The line was moving smoothly and soon enough they were almost on the ride.
"Hmmm... I-I-I... Hope t-that t-the g-guy is okay... H-He seemed p-pretty u-upset..."
"Makie, you don't need to worry about him. Just concentrate on having fun with your friends" Max was really happy all of a sudden. He felt like he was in a little bubble, and nothing could hurt him. They were almost on the ride...
"Hey, you guys, this is a pair ride. Who's gonna ride with who?" He asked. It was indeed a pair ride. and there were currently 4 cars open. Nope... 3... 2... that's it. They were holding up the ride. Soon enough they would have to decide. He still didn't know any of them well enough, but sometimes you had to deal with that at amusement parks. Especially if you were traveling alone.

Makie tilted her head when Gordon had spoke. Had he been the one to do that to that guy? And how? How confusing. Prehaps he used his powers? She didn't suppose some one could rip the pants right off some one... Or maybe it's possible... Using... SUPER STRENGTH!!! Nah, Gordon didn't look like he had super strength. Prehaps he did, but it wouldn't suit his personality in the minutes that Makie had known him.
That's when Misty lightly shoved her for spacing out for the... Misty and Makie both lost count. Anyways, snapping out of her thoughts, the brunette realized it was nearly time to get on the ride. She quickly picked out a sparkly pink colored car thing to ride later on, Misty just did not want to go on the ride, she merely waited on ground level. That's when Makie heard Max's voice.
"Makie, you don't need to worry about him. Just concentrate on having fun with your friends"
"Y-Yeah... But..." Makie began, unable to finish the sentance. She felt so bad for the guy. She would hate to have any one upset on this day. That's when she was shoved forward by Misty. She looked back, and then to the ride. Oh! It was their turn to get on! She was about to go and take her place in the ride when Max spoke again. Makie glanced back at him and the Misty, as Gordon had already taken his seat.
"Ahhh..." Makie paused, blushing. She quickly turned to Misty and hugged her friend's arm. "R-Ride with meee." The brunette said clinging to Misty's arm. The reason being was that, she would never have dreamed of being so close to a guy. Very scary stuff. OOOO!!! SCARY!!!! No offense to Max or Gordon, but she was just scared to death of boys, guys, men. Well... Maybe adults were okay, because they were kind of like fathers, but people in your Grade/school. Scarryyy stuff. Misty, finally extracting Makie from her arm, shook her head. "I hate rides. I'll stay down here."
"Pleaseeeeee?" Makie managed to whimper out.
"No! Ride it with your friends! Or alone for gods sake!" Misty said, bonking the brunette on the head playfully. The small girl held her head while stepping oto the ride part. But not sitting down. She looked back to Max, seeing Gordon was seated already. "I-It doesn't m-matter t-to me... Y-You c-can sit w-where e-ever..." She said, as she then turned on her heels and sat in the pink sparkly car. She closed her innocent eyes tightly, and didn't open them. That's also when Gordon's voice was heard.
"I wonder how fast this goes? I hope it's very fast"
Well, the ride did start on ground level, where your feet could safely touch the ground, then it basically twirled you round and round, flying in and out through the air. It was equally fast. Not too fast, but definatly not slow. So, Makie nodded at his question. "Y-Yeah... I-I-I suppose i-it's fast... It's n-not s-slow..." She said, still keeping her eyes closed.

Gordon looked over and waved at Shepard as he left with his girlfriend. He leaned back in his seat. He looked at Makie's seat. Pink and Sparkley. He always thought girls loving pink was a myth. Most of the girls these days wore black and Gordon hated it. He hated Angst. It was annoying.
He sighed loudly waiting for the ride. He suddenly lifted up his head and looked into the distance. He seemed to fade away from his current surrondings. It was as if he was watching something on TV or daydreaming. His fists seem to clench by his side as he kept looking in the direction of the forest far away. HE started to relax as if not to alert any of his new friends to think something was wrong with him.

Joy was now being the one lead around,as Tomoro showed a more joy like side, she bolted towards the line, Joy could tell by the look in Tomoro's eye, that she was giddyish about getting onto the Ferris Wheel.
As the two waited in the line, which slowly moved like a snail,Giddy head rolled around a bit as his eyes followed the ferris wheel going around and around. Joy was surprised he wasn't getting dizzy. Joy tail wagged furiosuly as if it was going 100 miles per hour, she nibbled on her lolipop, intill it was all gone she dropped the naked stick to the ground while Giddy batted at it playfully, then she started to tug on her long long green pigtails. The reason why she had such long hair was because she had never cut her hair, ever. She liked how long Ellas hair was,and Joy thougth of her hair as a token of remembrince ((is that a word??) to how long shes been with Ella.
Finally they reached the front of the line,Joy squuezed Tomoros hand even more,as she bit her lip and tried not the burst with excitment. Her eyes were dancing with playfulness and reflected the colorful lights,so it seemed liek a carinval was taking place in Joys eyes and she was dancing on her tipy toes. "Next Next Next!!" Swinging her arms, and swinging one of Tomoros as well since she still held her hand.
The worker looked over at Giddy and rose an eyebrow. "Im sorry, but we don't allow pets onto the ride. It'll have to wait here I'm s-...uh" The man was stopped short as Joy looked at him,her bottom lip quivering and her eyes watering up with unshedded tears, some peopel in line whispered, the words followed "How mean,That man..the poor cute girl..Making her cry!! The nerve!!Terrible." And so forth.
The worker sighed, scrathcing the back of his head. "Atta Atta..fine fine. But he'll have to go in a seperate chair. Joy jumped up and down, looking over at tomoro and smiling. "Hee hee!!Joy gets to ride with Tomo-pirate!!Nyhaan!!Thankies Thankies Onii-chan!!" As the two walked by Joy stood up and pecked a small kiss on the mans cheek, with him blushing insanly.
They loaded on the chair, the one behind them Giddy hopped on,laying on it lazily. Joy finally slipepd her hand out of Tomoros,to look around, trying to find the moon in the sky,but there was none. Joy pouted,as the two rose higher and higher ever so slowly.
