when did they say that?

i must have missed it...

They didn't say it directly but it was hinted (sortah like how they did with the end of Wolf's Rain).

They mentioned it back when Lyra/Dante led Rose and her baby to their underground base. They start talking about an ancient religion in which they believed in one god and was represented with a cross. I'm reading into it as Christianity.
