As the huge section of stone flew both him and Kina, Yoko called out to her "Kina I need help!" and as he said this he began to bend the water from the near by fountain as he was going to make an attempt to stop the wall coming towards him.
Hearing what Yoko had just said Kina looked at her brother and realized that Seth was planning to attack from the back of him while Milo and Seth also attack from the front. Pressing a trigger on her fan it split in two. Unleashing a torrent of wind at the stone that approched her it split in two. In doing this she send another gust at Seth attempting to give her enough time to reach Yoko.

Rave took out a scroll from his bag and unrolled it. It had been one he had learned before, but is still looking at it for some reference. "Be the calm before the storm" was a quote written on it at the top. During the first time Rave heard this from his master, he did not understand what it meant at all. How do you become the calm? What does it mean to be the calm? These were the questions Rave had within him when his teacher told him this quote.
But after his master's death, Rave looked at the scroll during his dark times and finally understood it. To be the calm before the storm, Rave had to bide his time. During a fight, Rave needed to stay calm, stay defensive, and look for weaknesses. After Rave analyzation of the situation, and found all the weaknesses, or things he can do to expose the weakness, then that would be the time to strike. Strike back with the force of a storm, violent, rageful, unmerciful, that would be the opportune time.
Rave's master used the first time they had met as a first example. During that event, Rave's master watched Rave fight against the gangsters, but was more intently looking at the gangster's movements. Rave's master waited for the right time to intervene and when he did so, he defeated the gangsters easily. Rave's master had pinpointed out each opponents weakpoint and used it to his advantage.
After remembering that lesson, Rave rolled the scroll back up. He didn't even bother looking at the kata images for he had known and mastered the basics. Rave didn't also want to follow his master's moves for Rave saw flaws within it. Adding to that reason, Rave's master even said to make up his known moves after he learned the basics. Unfortunately, Rave had not made up his known kata, but has created a few surprising, inovative, moves of his own.
After rolling up the scroll, Rave dropped the scroll back into the bag and stood up. He raised both of his arms up in the air and stretched. He felt good since his muscles started to ache a few minutes before. He leaned his head left to right and stretched out the neck muscles. He was preparing to do a kata, the only kata, his master taught him to practice.

Milo watched Kina nullify her attack, Milo stepped back sideways and she stepped, turned again then and punched he air. Causing random stalagmites to protrude out of the ground, she made sure they were dulled, she didn’t want to harm anyone. She kept repeating a loop of the same actions, to make more random stalagmites burst fourth. She made this to limit movement and help with her attacks more.

All stretched out and ready to move on, Rave got into his starting position. He faced the fountain after making sure no one was around. He placed his legs two feet apart. His body found it's balance and stood there like a wall, while his arms were in front of him, raised up to elbow height. His thumbs and index fingers were touching each other, making a circle creating a void. Rave shut his eyes and breathed in deeply. This was the start of his breathing excercise that would go into bending water.
Rave pictured the water fountain in front of him. The image of the two basin fountain was clear and concise. As if he hadn't shut his eyes, the picture was very clear. Rave even pictured how the water was flowing down from each basin. Physically, he steped toghter while he let his palms seperate and then let his arms rise to shoulder length while leaving his plams danggling. Water flowed up from the fountain and was suspended in the air. It was one yard in length and could be compared to an eel.
Rave turned his arm around and pulled them in towards his sides slowly as his palms shut. The stream of water came towards Rave swiftly. As if it was turned into lighting, the speed at which the eel looking stream of water was undeniably fast; however, Rave made an arc with his left right arm and the stream of water stopped right in front. Rave's left palm hovered above the stream and the water immediately beame circular, turning into a ball. Rave held his open right palm under the sphere while his left, over. The ball of water was suspended between the each palm, as Rave turned his head to the left althewhile sliding his right foot three feet away from his left.

"Hmmm. Listen, I don't want to fight. I'm looking for a group skilled enough to take on a 4 squad team. Are you in or not?"
With the water still around Kade, Jin said,
"Your in no position to fight. No doubt, I will win this match."

Kami paused, doing a hand stand. She watched the fight upside down, who was it, anyway? She saw Yoko, someone who looked like his sister, and Milo. Who else was it? After the blood rushed to her head, Kami landed gently on her feet, and propelled herself up with a short burst of fire. She sat down, and sat in a medatationg posistion, humming softly.

Seth had to do something or he would be flying into the wall. He stoppped bending the water around Yoko when the gust of wind got to him. His boots were not enough to stop the wind and he was flying toward the wall. Seth stuck his staff out straight to dampen the impact of him flying into the wall. Whem Seth's staff made contact with the wall he was able to place his feet on the wall and push gently off to get back onto his feet. When the wind was gone Seth got back into position. He was waiting for one of the others to attack him as he tried ot regain his breath.

((Hollow, he's not trying to find out if she's the avatar. He's already made that mistake. He's trying to find out if she is an earthbender or if she is a firebender to make an informed teaching decision about what to do, since her claims have him confused.))

Jonah backed up in a minor state of shock after Fulgar landed right next to his feet. It seemed he finally had control of a transportation technique, one that his pride could take over temporarily to allow him some sensation of success. Now he would be able to follow Jonah in a crazy test he thought up, just to see how good his control was.
"What are you talking about? If you're complementing her display of martial arts, I am undecided. But in terms of bending, that's another story."
Jonah then decided to give a complement to his fire jet skill, although he was safe to assume that he lost control due to the abrupt landing.
"Nicely done, although you might want to keep focus in the future. I think your ready for a dare devil test, just to see how well you can control your flame jets. I'll meet you up at the peak of Omashu's mail slides, just after I decide how to teach her some things."
Jonah pointed up high in the city to where most of the mail slides met, telling Fulgar to meet him there. It would be rude for him to leave a potential student in the dust to do something fun, although he was curious if she would join them to take notes. He decided to wait until she answered his initial question about what element she was able to bend. He couldn't teach a firebender how to earthbend, but he could tell a firebender about earthbending like he did with Fulgar.

One hand still controlled the water near Kade, the other, Jin used to make an icicle to catch the waterbender's attention. He bent some of the water near Kade to make the ice. With great agression, Jin pushed the water near the bender's face. Jin was hoping he caught his attention, or just gave him a heart attack.

(Training: 17*7*) As Rave was about to continue on with his kata, using his peripherals, he saw an icicle coming at him. Shifting his left foot to parallel his right, Rave was now face to face with the oncoming attack. Quickly, in a shoving motion, Rave thrust the ball of water at the icicle by manuvering his right palm behind the sphere and giving it a hard push, while his torso made the motion of leaning into a quick forward action, and his left feet beeing flung back. As the two attacks impacted, the ball of water merely gobbled up the icicle and was still heading towards Rave's attacker. However, right before the ball came to it's aimed target, Rave dimissied the sphere of water, turning it into steam. Rave did not want to kill, but merely show his opponent that he was not weak. "Who are you, and who do you think you are attacking?" Rave said in a stern, not so friendly tone of voice. He had came back to his regular standing position, both feet on the ground, slightly apart. His arms hanging at their sides, while his head and attention remained focus on the attacker. [3/95]

Jin clapped.
"I'm immpressed. Would you like to join me on fight a squad of four? 2 are waterbenders, 1 is an airbender, and the other is an earthbender. I was friends with them once, but we went seperate ways. That day, I vowed to have a group ready to challenge them. So, will you join? I'd like a strong bender like yourself to come along. By the way, what's your name?"
Jin waited politly for the bender's response.

"I'm not," Rave replied. "I don't fight for no reason." Rave said next coldly to the stranger. "And I most definitely do not give out my name to strangers as well, especially to those who attack first, and ask questions later." Rave turned around from the man and picked up his bag. The area he was training on just got cramped, and he didn't want to be disturbed. "Sorry, but you'll need to find another person to go down to your level." With that, Rave left the foutain area he was initially training on and would now look for a different place.
As Rave walked away, he could not but feel dirty being asked to attack another group of people out of nowhere. If that person had known his past, Rave bet he wouldn't do such as thing. Then again, Rave thought, he doesn't. It would only be a repeat of what had happened a few years back if Rave were to join that boy's group. However, he did wonder why he said they were friends first, but now are enemies.
His curiosity got him and he turned back around. Rave came back and faced the boy, "Exactly why did you say you were friends with them?" He asked, wanting to know; however, whatever the reason it may be, Rave would still not join his fight, that was for sure.

Jin looked at the boy. Then, he said,
"We were friends before but when some fire nation people came, I tried to fend them off myself. It worked, then my ex-friends said they were here to help us. But I wondered to myself, how will the fire nation help us? Then, I started to wonder if my ex-friends were with the fire nation. That's when I left their group."
Jin turned around and looked at Kade. His emotions made Jin feel sorry for Kade. Jin dropped his hand down, releasing the surrounding water.

She looked at fulgar landing at her feet not jumping just getting a concerned look on her face. "I might be ok in martial arts I know nothing of bending" She blushed rubbing the back of her head smiling slightly. Turning to Jonah, " Well Im not sure I can really bend anything, well except of the fire bursting out of my hands..." Hearing Jonah inviting Fulgar to a dare devil act, she wished she could join in. Hoping she wouldn't mess up so Jonah would maybe invite her she began preparing for earth bending. In the process she balanced on one leg struggling to pull of her shoes one leg at a time. She looked at her hands with a confused look on her face focusing on her hands. Making her open hands into tight fist, she placed her self into a horse position. Her feet melded with the ground under her bandaged feet. The wind blew provided a sense of peace and tranquility clear her mind of all thoughts like she was taught. Kurai's eyes opened lazly, contracting all her muscles in her body her face kept a tranquil look. Pulling both fist to her side, her eyes focusing upon the rock that Jonah had formed. Swinging her arms infront of herself, opening her hands to face the rock. The rock with very subtle movement began to tremble. Closing her eyes to keep her concentration she brought her right leg up before slaming her down. The rock jumped 4 feet in the air, in a couple of seconds the rock began crack and color began to change slowly. We she opened her eyes, confusion flooded her face Kurai's head shook slightly in disbelife. The rock exploded, large chunks of rocks flew she stood in there in shock. Large rocks landed by her but she didn't move. One heading straight for her large, a voice inside her snapped her out of it. "O NO!" Still in her horse stance she made a fist with her right hand, pulling her left fist to side. The rock not less than 3 feet away from her head the size of a large dog. Thrusting her right fist at the rock, 1 foot away not making any physical contact the rock flew across landing on the oppisite side of the dojo's roof slidding down taking tiles of the roof with it, it landed on the ground with a thud. Hunched over, blinking and taking deep breaths grasping her chest, "that....that..." She brought her self up, her left hand in a fist and eyes glittering with hope. " WAS SO COOL!" She laughed thrusting her left fist up with joy, wriggling with joy and a smile plastered on her face. Looking over to Jonah, "how was that!?" She smiled still trying to catch her breath from the near death experience.
