Anna threw a book at Ed and pointed out the page on which it had opened. It was a map of Amestris on the left page, and on the right was a precise sector of a town.
"You have to go there. Someone's waiting for you with something you'll need. After you get there, come back here with Lia. I'll send her to you when the certain person will have given you what's due." "I don'T suppose that means I have to willingly put myself in regeneration ?" "You're fast." "Oy..."
Lia sighed and walked out of the room and to the one in front of Anna's. She was going to sleep...

Ed turned to Al and groaned. "I really don't want to go there..." His face was a cross between angry and sad. "Brother, just do it would you?" Al glared at his older brother. "Gezz, if you weren't my brother and boyfriend to one of the crazys then I wouldn't even think of listening to them." Ed turned around and walked out of the room. "She's not my girlfriend!" Al chased his while blushing.

"I AM NOT CRAZY!!! YOU'RE THE ONE WITH NO BRAINS!!"
Anna, out of pure frustration, had gotten up and was walking furiously towards Edward. She could take being called crazy, but from there to being given that name? No, he went to far, this alchemist. Anna jabbed an accusing finger on Ed's chest, stopping him before he moved any more and almost seemed to pump steam.
"Listen, YOU. I could've died more times than you can count for your little life and saved your butt from the shadows, though you seem to want to ignore that. Point is, I could die, and you won't even bother to pay me a little respect by calling me by my name! If something, you could at least call us the Belrith sisters you innocent jerk!!"
Coughing; It came from Lia's room... You know, in those times, a certain illness raomed around called tuberculosis. It's a bacteria that attacks your lungs and makes it in sort that you litterally cough up blood. Back then, doctors didn't have a cure, if just to stay in bed and away from everyone; Tuberculosis is a very contagious illness. Lia... Had been coughing for a few days, now. But it hadn't been this flagrent before.
"Oh my... Lia...!"
Anna ran to the room, well, walked as fast as she could in the state she was, and went beside her sister's bed. There was nothing she could do; Lia had already put herself to sleep to gain energy. At this state, it was impossible to wake her up without taking immense risks...
"Ed, Al... Just go. I'll go get you over there myself, if I have to. I'll be fine... Just go."

Ed started mumbling to himself while he walked out the door. "C'mon Alphonse!" He called back. Al hurridly followed. "Alright, we're headed to Central to get this whole thing taken care of!" Ed snickered. "But what about..." "But what? We're talkin to Mustang to get her off my back. Go if you want but I'm sure as hell not..."

It had already been a good half hour already, and Lia's cough wasn't getting lighter, if only getting worse. She was worried, Anna.. Her sister was NEVER sick. But what if...? No, it couldn't be. He couldn't have possibly done it by mistake when he... No time.
"Damn, I can't wake her up or even talk to her... This stinks. And Ed probably won't even go anywhere, and Al'll be stuck going alone, and then.... Oh god... And I have to.. Ugh. No way I'm going after them like THIS... Pf. I'll call Enton instead..."
So, she headed for the phone. Slowly dialing the number, Anna thought more and more about various things... Thinking too much actually. Enton was calling out for about a minute now.
'HELLO?!' "Eh? Oh! Enton! Sorry!!!" 'Anna? AGAIN?' "Well, I had some spare time..." 'Thinking too much, are we?' "Egh, you're a fast one." 'What's all that coughing in the background?' "Oh, it's Lia.. I think she got down with tuberculosis..." 'I really hope she gets out of it; you know how my cousin--' "YOu don't have to say it. It shows in your voice that you don't want to..." 'Always as sharp as ever, I see.' "I can't say I can't practice with the Elric brothers and all." 'Heh, listening at the doors, are we?' "Don't say it like it's a bad thing, En." 'Well, I have to go, as much as I hate it... Sarah just came in. She'll go nuts if she finds out I'm going long distance.' "Like her usual self. Call me sometime. I'll be staying here for a while..." 'Take care... And don't do anything stupid.' "Yeah, whate~ver you say."
She hang up... PF, what to do now? Sleep. There's a good idea... She'd just wait for them to... Right. Edward and Alphonse probably WOULD'NT come back. Oh well, she'd wait for Winry and Pinako.

Ed glanced back over his shoulder with a content look on his face. "Brother, you look like you're smirking..." Al glared. "Onto Central my fine non-armored friend!" Ed was happy enough that he could have skipped all the way there. "We're gonna pick up a train at the next station..." "You mean that we're really going to Central?! Anna and Lia said..." "Screw what they said, we're going to Central so we don't have to be burdened with Missy Know-everything and Queen Kills Alot." Al rolled his eyes at his brother.

Colors twisted in unimaginable ways and blended together, only to diverge later on into distinct swatches. Images rolled in front of her eyes without wanring, flashing by sometimes in seconds, sometimes taking what seemed to be hours. Fragments of her memory both haunted her and pleased her as some were more gentle than others. She somehow seemed to hear Anna... But then again, she wasn't sure if she was just imaginning her sister or really hearing her. Everything seemed so blurry and vague in this sleep... Like if she was just an ether flying above fadded words.
"Man... They're taking a long time..., Anna whispered to herself as she entered Lia's room. They should already at LEAST be at the village... Figures. They dissed me. No, ED dissed me... That son of a... Right. Catch up... Pf... Am I even strong enough? No time for that. Gotta go... Sorry Lia. I have to leave you alone..."
Frankly, running after a guy who couldn't care less about her frustrated her. But there was no way in heaven and hell that she was going to let them run off again. They already passed too close to death too many times... She wasn't the one who was going to turn her back right now. So, she ran to the front door, ignoring the pain in her legs and grabbing her black coat. She felt slight remorse, leaving her sick and coughing sister alone, but Pinako and Winry would probably arrive soon, they would take care of her. And thus Anna was now engaged in an other wild goose chase after those idiotic brothers... Good thing she could already hear them...
It had been ten minutes since Anna had left. She was getting tired and annoyed of the tearing pain in her legs. She was just about to give up and siddown in the middle of the road when, in a last flash of hope, she saw a flashing red coat in the distance. Must be Al. Honestly, she was really starting to think there was no one else in the world she'd rather see right now. So, she drove herself forwards in a burst of speed, totally ignoring anything in her body.

Ed and Al got to the train station and bought tickets and just as they turned around the train was leaving. "Aw s**t! AL!" Ed grabbed Al's hand and flung him on the back then quickly jumped on after. He smiled a triumphant smile until he noticed a person far in the distance. "Oh s**t..." "What brother?" Al looked and noticed her. "Is that Anna?"

"Baka... Never learn, do they?"
Anna sighed in dissappointement as she realised that those two brothers really didn't understand. Did they REALLY think that she was normal? Well, NEWS FLASH!!!!
SHE WASN'T.
So, in her 'abnormalness', Anna simply, in some inhuman leap, jumped on the roofing of the train only to slide down behind the Elric brothers.
"What? Did you REALLY think you could outrun me? Pf, you dream too much. And because of you, I had to leave a dying sister in an empty home. Good thing I crossed Winry on my way here; I told her everything. BOY are you two in for a beating when you come back..."

"I'm not going back. Take your boyfriend and go...I'm leaving..." Ed walked past her with a shove and went in the train. "Brother...I'm sorry Anna, he doesn't mean it. Ok, maybe he does but it's because he hates being bossed around. I can understand how he feels since you don't even give us an option with anything. It's always 'do this' and 'do that,' its kind of annoying. I'm sorry..." Al bowed politely.

"Eh, it's not like I have any choices any... Ugh.. Geez, now my shoulder hurts... Anyways, it'S not like I have any choice..."
Anna sighed with a certain sad tone that would've made you quite... Uneasy. She simply stepped forwards and leaned on the rail, slightly rubbing her left shoulder.
"I don't suppose you know how it is to think that when you'll come home, you'll be alone. No one there for you, no one to lift you up, to help you, to keep you alive... Alone. I have to family, Al... Just Lia. I can't let her die... And that necklace might be the only way I can save her. But your brother seems to egotistcal to actually realise this... But you have an older brother... You should at LEAST be able to relate, right? Hm... mAybe not. I haven't made that much of a great impression... Pf. I don't really care. He hates me, you probably hate me as well heedless of what you said before, and now my sister will be able to hete me from the other side of the Doors, too. And Sira... GEez, I haven't seen her since that day... She's probably dead, for all I know."

Al solemnly looked at the passing tracks then back up to Anna with a bit of a smile. "I don't hate you and what I said earlier was true. I...I really do like you. Ed just doesn't like people bossing him around which is why he hates Roy so much."

"Roy's an exception... Only Hawkeye seems to have an eye on him... So he doesn't really count, does he?"
Anna tried to be humorous to hide her sad feelings... But the thought of loosing Lia was just taking over. It couldn't be... Lia couldn't just leave her! Not now, at least... Please...
"I'd better get off... If someone discovers I'm here without any ticket, I'm as good as dead..."

"Pf. I don't have the right materials. My ticket would be hard and barely conciderable as one such... But I can try..."
So she thus ssilently calpped her hand and posed them on the rail in front of her and transmutated a ticket... After looking at Al's, of course. It wasn't perfect... But it was the closest thing.
"Well, you should go inside; You'll catch a cold, out like this..."
